Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I was wondering if anyone has an easy playdoh recipe. It would be so appreciated.:D

Play Dough
Mix together in a saucepan.
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 cup salt (can use 1/2 cup)
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 tablespoon oil
Colouring if desired
Mix well and stir over low heat until thick and workable. Will keep in a plastic bag or airtight container.

Check out this thread play dough (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?p=8521#post8521) for some great recipes - I use the one that willsmum posted and it is great - and uses a LOT less salt than the others

The recipe above is a great recipe but I don't do mine in the saucepan, I do it with boiling water. Just put all the ingredients into a bowl and pour the boiled water into the bowl, mix a bit let stand then knead when cooled a bit.:)

Also, if you add some vanilla essence to it, it smells a whole lot better too!

The vanilla essence is a good idea. I use baby oil instead of cooking oil, so it doesn't smell like food. Playdough being so tasty and all!:p
