I am fascinated to know what kind of person becomes a pro-circ activist. Is it some kind of Freudian thing? Self hatred? etc? What motivates someone to crusade for circumcision?

For Russell, the answer is simple: money. Needlessly amputating infant foreskins has made him a millionaire.
Morris, whose terrible website is again being promoted in the other section, is a different matter. I find it difficult to resist the conclusion that there isn't an element of sexual fetish involved. And he wouldn't be alone in that regard

from BMs website.
The anti-circ organizations are a magnet for pedophiles, whose preference is for the uncircumcised appearance of a boy"s penis since this arouses in their twisted minds an image of untouched innocence. Such sexual predators then set about robbing the boy of this innocence.
IMO the person who wrote this is delusional and emotionally disturbed. It says nothing about anti-circ organizations but an awful lot about the author.
Also, if circumcision doesn't rob a baby boy of his innocence, what does?

Because of these people the circ rate is a lot higher than it would be otherwise.
In the case of BM if you read his section on anti-crc groups you will find many clues.
I have deleted some off topic posts. This thread is about biased circumcision sites. It is not about speculating about the motivations of other members of this forum, which is against the rules. Debate view points with members directly all you like, but speculation regarding motivation is unhelpful and gets personal too easily.
Cheers

People need to be wary of the Circumcision sections of Wikipedia. A guy called Jake Waskett has performed 10,000+(!) edits to those pages.
Apparently he has very good Wiki editing skills, so essentially he dominates (and distorts) those pages.
He has worked closely with Brian Morris on a number of papers.

Wow... I'd have laughed at the ridiculasness of that if I wasn't so horrorfied.
I didn't realise there were people out there with such a distorted sense of reality.

I really don't understand the whole pro circ thing. Like who who promotes a painful surgery on children?
I understand people who have their children done who give advice on RIC to other parents, but i really don't get the whole encouragement to get it done?

There is an American Jewish doctor by the name of Dr.Schoen who dominated the AAP circ task force for some years. He is big on advocating universal circ and circing infants without any anestethic.
He has written poetry on circ, which is weird to say the least.
