my reccommendation:
go to the target where u will do your shopping the day/ a few days b4 so u know where the toys u want will be located & so u can check them out.
i went to carindale yesterday & they already have HEAPS of toys set up. i had a look at some i was interested in. i think i was the ONLY person actually looking at the toys! i guess other ppl will just wait for the actual sale toy start, but i plan on knowing EXACTLY what i want & where it's located so i can be in & out as quick as possible! & since a lot of what i want is 'no rainchecks' i think i'll try & get in at opening time, & so if i get what i want straight away - i'll be in the front of the checkout queue ;)

My client wants me to purchase one of those new chimps/monkeys that are advertised on tv.
Does anyone know who has it the cheapest? Think it's about $70 normally.
Thankyou
i think on SALE they r about $69. i think that's the price both target & kmart have them for... not sure about other stores, tho.
BTW - it took me nearly ALL day to get through the target catalogue online (dial-up)!! i can't believe it's *64* pages!!
i have an EXPENSIVE shopping list now!

Oh god i would hate to be viewing it on dialup.
I think i might do that thing...go in & have a look what i want a few days before the sale.

My advice is take the catalogue into kmart or big w and ask them to match the price!! They will as long as the stock is in store, so go the first day and everything should be there.. I use to work at big w and I did this every year, saves waiting for hrs.. I found prices to be heaps cheaper at kmart and that wagon is not the same as the one in targets catalogue!! I got my dd that wagon 2 christmas' ago, the one in kmarts catalogue is the new fisher price one..
I agree we should have a sales and bargain place for posting all these bargains!!
I am glad I have done all the kids gifts now I have to find bargains on adult stuff!!
