something to worry about?

i was jus wondering if anyone got a pains sorta like a really bad stomach ache when they were pregnant? is this something i should worry about its the second time this has happend, but it last about 10 mins then stops, its happened twice once today and about a fortnight ago in the middle of night and no one was home, should i go see a doctor?

I'm due a week or so before you and have been getting the same stomach aches too. Mine seems to be related to digestive processes - most likely just constipation trying to work itself out. I haven't been worried about it :)

(It's just about the only thing I haven't been worried about :D )

It could be braxton hicks (practice contractions). If you are worried about them then it wouldnt hurt to see your doctor or midwife.

I got a lot of period type pains and my doctor told me that it was the uterus stretching. You might want to talk to your doctor if you are worried though.

I'm 31 weeks and have been getting a few pains that sound like that too...but I think my BH is a different type of feeling. My OB says that it's usually ligaments etc. stretching and also 'growing' pains. Mine could also be digestive related (as Beany said). If it gets any worse or lasts longer, ease your worries and call your dr/midwife.
