First Pregnancy - yahoo!!!

Hi everyone,
just thought id say a quick hi!

As you can tell from the title, I am currently pregnant with my first baby and im a tad bit excited!:smiliedance:

We fell pregnant in the 2nd month off the pill so it was a little bit of a surprise but a wonderful surprise. I honestly thought it would take at least 12 months!!

I actually fell when my husband and I were overseas on our late honeymoon so that was even more exciting.

If ive calculated it all correctly im 7 weeks today - i think! going to the doctors tomorrow to get it all confirmed.

Anyway, thats my tiny little story, hope to get to know you all through this whole new experience!!

hmmmm,
I wouldnt say ive had a lot of morning sickness, maybe just feeling a bit off?? Yesterday was probably the worst i think, I had to sit down for 10minutes until the feeling passed. It was yuck. Im really off some foods though and if anyone brings bbq chips near me i may puke. ewww!

Its so lovely to actually be to say to someone "im having a baby!!" My husband and I havent told anyone yet, its so hard to hold the news in because we are so excited!

We went to the Dr's today to have a confirmation wee test and got sent for some blood tests. Apparently im due on the 2nd March.

I have to book in for an ultrasound soon as ive been having some sharp pains on my right side, so he just wants to rule out an ectopic. Im sure everything is fine though.

Welcome to BubHub! :kiss: I only signed up the other day but am already enjoying my time here sooooo much! Alot of friends and support.. and all new mummys-to-be need to brag about their growing tummies (I know my family and friends soon got sick of me walking around saying "Hey I'm making eyelashes today!" :o )

As for morning sickness.. hmmm wait for about Week 9! Hehehe! I consumed soooo much lemonade.. fizz great to settling queasy tummies (in my case anyway).

Good luck with your ultrasound. Be positive.. I also had sharp pains in my early pregnancy and they DID in fact diagnose my pg to be eptopic. They then discovered it was actually a cyst on my ovary which had swelled up to the size of a tennis ball due to the rapid increase of hormones etc due to first trimester.. the cyst disappeared on its on at about 3-4mo. And my healthy baby boy arrived right on time!

Apparently it is quite common to have little cysts on your ovaries at times, and they can play up during early pregnancy.. I hope this applies to your symptoms also (worst case scenario).
