View Full Version : Inners - microchamois, microfleece and velour, what's your favorite?
I'm having a custom done, and have lots of choices!
I don't have a velour lined nappy, but do have some sanitary pads, they are lovely and soft against the skin. does the velour wick away moisture quickly like the others?
The velour is so nice and soft, I've seen one in a custom and it looked fantastic, but I haven't actually used one on bub.
All my fleece ones get a bit icky (pilled) in the wash, even good fleece so I'd prefer the chamois, suede or velour.
I had one made with polar fleece because it was the only way I could get the colour I wanted but its pilled and fluff covered just with the pre-wash. It hasn't been worn yet :(.

we have 1 with valour inner ...it doest wick the mousture away (ie its not stay dry)
microchamios is beautiful and soft (its a much softer finer grade of fleece)
who's ur custom going to be by ??
It's a flattery custom
my first custom!
I'm very excited, and want to get it 'just right';)
I'd never seen velour as a lining, but i was concerned it wouldn't wick like the others.
Seems the fav is chomois and the moment:)
i've got a couple of swaddlebees that are velour lined, they must wick the wet away but i know when i change ds the inner certainly feels "wet", but its certainly soft :)

microchamois wears better than microfleece. velour is cotton based so if you have reactions to synthetic materials i believe velour is better. i have one velour inner i i really like it. it does get stiff on the line though so probably could do with a quick tumble in the dryer on low setting
