Whats your thoughts?

Hi all,

Just found something interesting out.

I just got MJ a MAM Mini Ulti Orthodontic Soother (dummy) which I would first like to say she LOVES. Only problem being that it does not come with a teat cover. To get that, you have to buy the "Soother Saver" which comes with the cover :rolleyes:

ANYWAY, back to the reason for this thread. In the information pamphlet that comes with it, this was written inside


Recent studies show, that the use of a soother during sleeping could reduce SIDS for more than 50%

Just wondering what all of you thought about this.

I read that somewhere recently too...maybe using a dummy isn't as evil as my mother thinks. My son had one til he was 15mths old, much to my mothers disgust :D

I had never heard of this before and would love to source more info on it...

My son is still using his dummy and is now 17 months.
He only needs it for sleep now or if he is REALLY upset.

We never had a problem with him using it, he was a sucky baby and it was either me or the dummy !! We chose the dummy :D
