HELP PLEASE!!!!

My nearly 3 yr old son, has recently started sucking on his fingers. If we see him, we immediatly ask him to stop which he does, but I cant be around him 24/7. There have been times when he has got up after we put him to bed, only to find his sleeve soaking. He always constantly sticks his tounge out and loves licking things!! He did start doing at the beggining of the year, but we were told that it was due to the major changes in his life (moving and new brother - it was tough for me - so of course it was hard for him!) Anyway it stop for a few months, and seem to start up again, for no reason at all. Has anyone got any ideas???

Are there any other major changes in his life? Maybe there's something going on there. I hope you find the answer. :fingerscrossed:

Thats the problem no major changes....I just dont understand why its happening, there was nothing going on when it all started this time. If it started when grandmum got sick I could understand, it has been a little crazy around here lately. Thanks OTG :hugs:

He's probably picking up on your feelings during this stressful time. I hope things improve for you and your family soon.:hugs:

apart from laugh you mean?
if he licks his sister i tell him not to cos she doesnt like it and everthing else i just ask him if it tastes good. he's only just started so i figure its a phase and he'll grow out of it, i hope:D

Thats one way to look at it, I am not sure what my DS would do I ask him that...might have to try it. I am hoping its a phase and that it goes quickly!!!!
