View Full Version : Help previous two Pregnancies morning sickness lasted 30 weeks
Hi I'm pregnant for the third time (My first angel was a still birth). I had morning sickness for the first 30-34 weeks and after that I just had really bad reflux. I ended up in hospital 3 times the first pregnancy and twice the second. I am 10 weeks pregnant and breastfeeding my five month old. I can bearly keep anything down and having to give my daughter formula atleast twice a day because my milk supply is not that good. I have tried maxalon, blackmores, preggie pops, ginger, acupressure band and eating something before i get up. This time is worse then before I get no relief I am just always sick and I never feel like eating but I still make myself eat and try and keep it down for as long as possible but it always comes back up. I just want some relief. Please if anyone has any ideas please tell me I will try almost anything!!!

sorry to hear you are getting no relief!
i dont know what else to suggest. seems like you have tried everything that i could think of!
maybe you would have to speak with your gp to see if there is something else you can do!
i hope something works for you

Hi, I found the only thing which worked was Stemetil prescribed by my OB. The tablets are expensive but they did stop the vomiting which was worth it. Hope things get better soon for you and congratulations on your pregnancy.

:hugs: poor you the only thing that I have heard of that you haven't already tried is eating protien before getting up apparently that is supposed to work better than dry crackers - now the big question is whether you DH/P will make you bacon and eggs in bed??? but seriously those protein bars might be worth a shot if you can stomach them.
Good luck:hugs:
Thanks for the help hopefully one of those will work. I am just so tired I'm sleeping 12-15 hrs a day thank God my DH gets up to look after my 5 mth old in the morning. I don't know how I would cope without him :). I'm so glad that my little one will be starting solids soon hopefully that will take some of the strain off me. Thanks again
