Why do so many people prefer snap ins over all in ones? Is it just the drying factor?

All in ones seem so easy compared to snaps!

I can't think of many true AIO's - Bubblebubs, Bambooty easy dry, ummm what else is there? Oh Itti's

I suppose I prefer being able to snap the booster off for drying because for example when I used to have Bubblebubs, they would always take a while to dry under where the booster was sewn on. Also, they usually have padding in the shell which takes longer to dry and in my experience, gets a bit stinky.

If I really liked one of the AIO's I would buy it though - the three above don't really suit DD.

I can honestly say I prefer snap ins. They dry heaps quicker and you can buy extra inserts to save $$$
Ones like the itti ones are so easy to use because they are colour coordinated. I just use DS's nappy free/tummy time or my nightly tv time to snap them together.
I've even taught DP how to do it. He finds it easier to snap in than choose which boosters are supposed to go with which nappies...

I prefer AIO (we use Itti's). I just love the convenience of it and after borrowing some snap in's from a friend I didn't think the difference in drying time was all that much.

I prefer Snap ins. I have Four AIO(BBH magicall, Baby chilli, and 2 safaris) And they take almost twice as long to dry. I dont put them in the sun though, as the clothes line is in the dog pen and im afraid they wilol play tug-o-war with them. I turn them inside out but they still take ages to dry. Plus i quite enjoy snapping them all together when they are nice and clean. And i like how you can take the soiled booster out and snap in a new one, i have FB extra boosters and Itti ones too.

I prefer snap-ins (AI2) because I find they dry a LOT quicker which is important to me in the colder months here in Tassie. The boosters open up so they dry faster than if they would if they stay all tucked up within the body of the nappy. I don't mind snapping them together once they're dry, I find it no more hassle (infact LESS of a hassle) than folding the clothes when they come off the line!

i prefer snap ins at first, but i found it too fiddly to find bits and pieces to snap together
now i prefer bambooty's easy dry, you save time from just take it off the line and use it, also the drying time is just like snap ins

I much prefer AIOs. Its not assembling the snap ins that bothers me so much as un-snapping them when they are wet & smelly.

Having said that its handy to have a couple of snap ins for days like today when i woke up and realised that all my nappies are still a bit wet. I chucked the inserts in the dryer for a half hour and was right to go.

I thought my AOI's dried pretty quickly after I gave them the first washes, but it must be where i'm from - north QLD. It's pretty sunny here. I hung them out in the morning and in the afternoon they were completely dry (not sure by which time tho as I was out all day, but it prob took the full day).

I also prefer itti snap-ins over sewn ins (AIO) for the drying factor but also because I find them more absorbent and she can wear a snap-in for much longer than a sewn-in/all-in-one. I assume this is because you get more layers of bamboo with a snap-in compared to the sewn-in/all-in-one.

I find this too. Does your sewn in sit funny at the back where it is sewn in??
