temperature patches

My DD has been sick lately and have seen those patches that sick to child and monitor their temperature.as they cost about $10 from woolies have not bougth them incase they are not effective. has anyone tried them? what age is your child? did they work?

I haven't tried them, sorry, but I just htought I'd let you know that when DD was running a temperature a couple of months ago, I rang the doctor to ask his advice - he recommended the use of an under-arm digital thermometre as the most accurate, and easiest to use with a wriggly-newborn. I've seen them in Woolies too - and they're only about $10 - $15.

yeah i have one thanks they are also good for checking bath temps. i just thought these patches stay on a longer period of time so u can check temp when bub is asleep
