How Long do results take from blood tests?

Hi everyone, well I am now 1 week overdue and still testing BFN, my cycles have been pretty spot on 28-29 day cycles did anyones cycle suddenly change when coming off the pill? thinking of having a blood test to know for sure but don't want to have one and it be BFN? ( not good with needles especially blood tests)Does anyone know how long it takes to get the results from the blood tests?

If your in a hurry for your results you can ask the DR to put on the form that you will call up the lab for the results and you can call the lab later that day get them. If you can wait another day then the DR can have them the next day if he is not a paper DR. If he is a paper DR (which is what the lab calls them,) it means he likes the results to be posted to him, not faxed or emailed, that can take two days.

Wasn't trying this month decided to stop all prediction kits maybe baby everything, but remember cm around day 15- 17 and me being a bit more keen than usual, DH thinks i am but im still trying to convince myself i'm not so i don't get to disappointed!

I know what you mean, 2 cycles ago I was two weeks late, it had never happened to me ever I am never late always 29 days like clock work. The doc did blood tests for pg and for other hormones apparently I didn't 'o' I wasn't tracking my cycle then either. But last cycle I tracked it and was 2 days late. Go and have the blood test and at least then you will know one way or the other. I know how hard it can be to be constantly dissapointed, but as long as you don't know your life is on hold just waiting for something. :fingerscrossed: for you that you are. Please keep us informed and let us know when you get the BFP:)
