Just a thought, what do addicts do when their children no longer need their stash? Is this a milestone you do not look forward to? How do you feel about your child toilet training?

You move onto cloth items for yourself. :D
I loved it when DS tt'd as I wasn't too fussed on the two in nappies ... but I think I will be a little bit sad when DD tt's as she is our last, so it will be a big thing ... our baby will be a 'big girl' then. :)
i got lucky when DS1 TT'd - DS2 came along... so i had them both in cloth for a month or two then #1 TT'd
this time i will have #2 TT'ing and have another bub/s in cloth.
so i guess that means, my solution is have another baby

To be honest im looking forward to it, it is such a great mile stone- and i guess one way to look at it is that undies are cloth too :) I have 2 in cloth at the moment, and im looking forward to only having one in cloth.
Im also hoping that by the time were finished some of our family will have kid we can pass the nappies onto.
I love the 'have another baby solution' haha
As much as I love MCN's it means less washing and no more nappy bags.
Far out, I absolutely can't freaking wait!!! Even selling off all the pink nappies I have (to make way for the blue ones) excites me. When they've been bought and we've sent them off I've felt no sadness at all.
I guess, for me, it means I'm totally done having kids and whie we need MCN's I'll use them but I am looking forward to the day when we are a nappy free household.
Well I currently:smiliedance: have 2 boys - one who is in the process of TT but the other is quite some time away from that.
Then we are planning to have 2 more children  so I will keep all my MCN until we are done with babies.
Then I will sell the majority of my stash and keep a few here for just in case (will keep my favourites for this).
Have another baby! :laughing::laughing:
Nah, when we finally have none in nappies I guess I will find a new hobby... or go back to work (maybe).
Maybe I will collect something... hmm... might need to work on that one.
When we have no more babies I will sell of my stash and use any money I make to start a new hobby.
ohhh what a good idea Merla - I'll use mine to start a scrapbooking hobby I think or maybe to pay for some of my Uni fees - ha ha that will only scratch the surface of that expense!

I will be glad when DS2 is toilet trained, I like cloth nappies but I don't consider it a hobby. I mean yeah a hobby? lmfao.

To be honest, I have no idea... I don't even know what I'm gonna do when I'm done making my DD's stash  Ok, maybe I know I'll make many more than she needs, make TT pants for my DS for when he seems ready and then what...?
I have no idea.
Thankfully, another 2 or so years to go till I have to start worrying about it
But yes, definately a hobby, especially when you take into account making, researching and chatting about :D

I just have more babies...
Honestly, i'm looking forward to it, but I will have had at least 8yrs of consecutive nappy use before it ends!
I've been using MCN now for 3 consecutive years. I've been using MCN since my DD was 4months old, then DS came along and both of them were in cloth. DS will still be in nappies when bub is born, who will no doubt still be in cloth when we have #4 (yep, we have our 4th planned already lol) so if each child is in nappies for at least 2 years, and we always have two in cloth at some stage...that's at least 8 consecutive freaking years of nappies, most likely more
