Bought my first few RadPads today (great name too, I reckon). I've ordered them online from a cool little hippie shop in Brisbane and can't wait to get them in the mail next week. I had been at a loss with how to manage my monthlys lately as I HATE HATE HATE both using tampons & the waste, cost and yucky feeling of pads.
Wheee I'm excited!:yelclap: Thanks for all your info here girls it convinced me!
oh, im on the hunt for some pads, how did you find them?

Oh right, haha. I haven't had the need to use them yet, will be a couple weeks yet. However they look to be designed really well, I expect they will be very good. I ordered medium and they are quite big though so I am slightly worried about them being bulky. I'll update when I've tried them out.

Have been through two cycles with my radpads now and love them. Absolutely do. I have a fairly light flow so one pad during my work day goes fine, then when I get home I do a quick scrub with plain soap, and chuck it in the washing machine to soak in cold water. Once I've got a couple to wash I just put through a normal cycle, sun dry them and they're ready to go again. I've only go three pads at present however if I wash/dry efficiently it gets me through the cycle.
I feel much better not having to worry about disposal of plastic-y unnatural bits & pieces. They just feel so much better to 'wear'.
