I wanted no2 as soon as DS was born. And we are still trying 2 1/2 yrs later. I say go for it if you feel you are ready for No2 do it.
Goodluck!!!!
Thank you :D
DF is making me wait a bit yet. He wants to start trying when she's around one. which is fair enough. i don't mind that.
We can't agree on how many to have. he wants two or three and i want 4 or five!! LOL
Good luck, i hope it happens for u soon :)

I was ready to have another one as soon as Travis was born but we are waiting to see how financial we are a year from now and if we do its our last and will be having my tubes tied while they are in there (i have c-sections) and that should be my smallest age gap at there is 3 years 9 months between my boys and 8 years between Tayla and Travis
Katie and Rob
Tayla, Dylan and Travis
ouch, by choice? I'm scared of c-sects.
my ideal gap between kids is one year

it took 12 months to conceive DS1, so after he was born we decided not to use any contraception and said we'd see what happens..... i got pg when he was 7 months whilst weaning him off the breast, which was a lovely surprise.
now, DS1 is 2 and DS2 is 8 months, on the boob & soon to be weaned - we've decided to see what happens AGAIN!
i used the excuse we weren't financially secure for years.... still aren't & it doesn't matter because you can make it work, well we have anyway.
i'm ready too! DS was born dec 05. it's funny because the day after your like never not in a millon years am i doing that again but then two weeks later your like hmm maybe and now i'm like why aren't i pregnant yet
well good luck to all of us :fingerscrossed: luckily we can afford to have one at the moment we are in a good spot :smiliedance:

Its the greek/russian version of Alexender shortened to Alexi (or can be spelt Alexei - that's more Russian). I loved it when I heard it and it stuck. Its a bit different, unusual, noice!!:D I love it for a girl too. In fact if Alexi had been a girl we would have called him Alexia instead and I'm sure she would have been called Lexi for short (like alexi is!).
I was ready for number two straight away as well.
I would love to have another one now, but due to finances and DH's job situation, we are waiting till 2009:thumbsdown:
Apparently the first thing i said after having DS was 'i could do that again'. I think i may have been a tad delusional!

By the time our DD was 11 months we were ready for another. I have my heart set on a VBAC so I wanted to give my body time to heal.
We didnt fall pregnant until after I got my period back which was when my DD was 12 months. It took 2 cycles for me to fall. :)

I dont know about you guys but my daughter is nearly 15 months and I dont really want to have another child for QUITE a while if you know what I mean.:D
She was, when she was newborn; (with colic and reflux and just generally being awake all the time) and sometimes is now, such a handful!!!! PLus with me being pretty isolated at home , studying aswell and having a partner who works 50-60 hrs a week. I crave adult conversation! and doing grown up things!!! I think i wouldnt know how to deal with being preggys again...I'd need to finish off other things first. like uni and waiting for C to grow up some more. workn on a career path etc.
Ive always thought. (but this is just me) that every child needs one on one special attn for at least the first 2-3 years of his/her life b4 introducing someone else and "affection competition" into the picture. Maybe that would settle down some much unwelcome arguments and screaming?
all in all Im happy to say that Id love more kids but just am STILL not ready to TTC #2. anyone else feel the same?
Props for everyone giving it another shot with a newborn tho!! woohoo :-) go girls
I was keen to have another when my first was 18mths but I am glad that there is a 3 year gap. I have a 8mth old and I feel clucky! I would rather wait another 5 years when my baby is in prep - pregnancy doesn't really agree with me!
