Would anyone like to do a secret santa for our kids under 5? I was thinking along the lines of giving age appropriate books as its a great way to encourage reading and our kids would love to get a gift in the mail. Im not sure exactly how to do these things so if someone would like to help me out or take over that would be great.

I'm in :)

As to how they're done I believe you write down all the names twice each on pieces of paper and then draw them two at a time so the first person sends the second person a secret santa... everyone should end up with their name on the sending & the receiving list.

Then whoever is running it gets all the details and sends them to the people who need them and away we go.

I'm just getting a business up and running so unfortunately don't want to commit to running it. But I am definitely wanting to take part!

C'mon, anyone else???

I absolutely love this idea, but I just can't bring myself to give personal contact details of myself and my child via an online forum, to someone I've never met.

I'd happily do something like that with mums from a parents group or playgroup though.

Nonny - do you have a PO box? That's what I use until I get to know people better :) And mine isn't even located in the same suburb as me

So what happens if we have 3 children, like for eg; if you have 1 child you have one person who sends to you and one person who you send to, and if you have 3 children, you have 3 people who send to you and 3 people you send to?

maybe match you up with another mum that has 3 children. I think that would work.
