i have just moved to muswellbrook nsw with my DH and DD,who is 16months old, we r bored,as i am a SAHM, havent looked for a job down here as we may be moving again :thumbsdown:,i cant drive cuz i have epilepsy so i havent been able to get my licence yet, hopefully soon, new to bub hub too getting used to abbreviations lol, :wave:

lol i dont like it either, my family is in brisbane, so thats about 8 or 9 hours away driving straight through, omg ihave just decided not to wear shorts either, so i wear my jeans out *and neirly die form heat exhaustion* and then it gets too much so the shorts go on when im home. how far away is denman do u work?

I know what you mean by missing family, my mum only lives an hour and 45minutes away but it's way to far, I couldn't imagine being that far away..

I haven't been here that long either so i don't no anyone much, would love to meet but i'm not driving anymore and i'm due to have in just over 2 weeks... if you are still living in the area in december we will have to definatly arrange something..

hi girls, not sure if this thread is still active but i guess i will just see if anyone replies.

moved from the Uk to sydney jan 09

i moved to muswellbrook in october 09 for partners work in the mines (where he spends most of his time). my parents and sister are still in sydney and all other family still in the UK so its very lonely. i have a 15 month old little boy and im stay at home mum. These 4 walls are driving me insane ... but there is nowhere to go and nothing to do here :( i really hate it. I am desperate to meet some other mums around the same age, im only 20!
