Plastic bag? or is there something more efficient out there to store my dirty MCN's in whilst out?

Wetbags. They are waterproof (not dripping water, but keep the nappy bag dry) and they contain the smells! :D
ETA: I made my own using sandwich PUL (available at Nappies Covered) and velcro ... took 5 minutes and works beautifully. :)

Wet bags are great, try and get ones with Zips (i find they contain smells better than drawstring)
Most WAHM nappy makers do them, there are also different ones at darlings down under, Nurture Nappies, Baby Beehinds etc.
Some crafty mums also make their own (with PUL material)
I really like the bambooty ones. If you buy their nappies, each one comes with its own little wetbag, or you can buy the bigger ones. Just chuck it in with your wash

we have a wet bag
I put mine in a super large zip lock bag but am on the hunt for a good wetbag like a PP said. They look soooo pretty. Lol.
I usually take two zip lock bags in my handbag - one with two already damp face washers and then the other for if one child has a dirty nappy and the other doesn't. Then I can put the dirty nappy in the other bag and still have a clean fresh cloth for "just in case"

I use a WAHMies wetbag that I got from the wee wuns. I got the really big one and it holds a days worth of nappies for 2 children no worries when we're out :)

Im going to attempt to make my own this weekend.. :yelclap: wish me luck!
if you can sew its heaps cheaper to make your own, and that way you get the size you want. Otherwise there are heaps and heaps of wetbags. Agree zips are better to contain smells.
Do you need to turn wetbags inside out to wash them?

nope, just open the zipper ;-)
but you could if you wanted to.

is there anywhere I can buy "wet bags" from other than cloth nappy manufacturers? As in like are they for wet togs and stuff for kids who do swimming.. could i find one at target or those kinds of places?
