car seat and bassinet hire

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about hireing a baby capsule or bassinet.. I've seen adds for hire places in sydney and brisbane but I live in Melbourne. I can't afford to purchase a car seat or cot so I am looking at hiring them for the first few months. Has anyone done this or know of a company in melbourne?

Hi there if you call your council they will give you contact I hired our baby capsule from king management I'm not sure where you are but I got it from a lady in ringwood, you can also hire them from littles child restraints you can pm me for the phone number if you like!! as fot the bassinett if you look on ebay they are pretty cheap second hand, it would probably work out about the same to buy a second hand one than hire one! I think that someone told me that you can hire them from some hospitals
