Voucher to spend on..??

We have been given a $200 voucher for Babies Galore. We have everything we need for our 5 week old DD now so I am trying to think of something to buy that we could possibly use now but also use at a later stage.

Did anyone have anything that they swore by and could also use for a decent amount of time before their bub grew out of it etc?

I'm not sure what Babies Galore sell, but heres a few ideas.....

highchair
jolly jumper
child proof locks
flip out sofa
toys for when she's older
clothes for when she's older
books for her
doona cover/sheets for a single bed
thermoscan thermometer
nappies and wipes
stock up on formula
booster seat and harness

Does she have a walker??

Babies Galore have some really fun walkers!!

Or a baby swing?? you can use it for newborns too... my DD is almost 9 months and she still loves swinging in it :thumbsup:

I'd say a booster seat or a highchair, a safety gate (if you have stairs)

Do you have to use the voucher straight away??
If not Id say wait a while till you have something you actually really need, rather then trying to think of something you might need, then realise you didnt really.

I would go for a booster seat you can attach to the chair at the table for when baby is a toddler and WILL NOT sit in the high chair....or is that just mine......i think you can use them from when they are able to sit unsupported, and you can take them anywhere you go, friends, restaurants etc....

I wish i had of thought to buy one of those baby swings. DS is a bit old but will definately get one for the next one.
