Hi everyone,

I am thinking that we will use MCN's with our baby and was wondering if anyone has used Motherease and what they are like?
Or if you had a better suggestion. It is very hard to choose with so many different options.
Thanks for your help

Tara:)

I haven't heard anything about them but just googled them. If you do go with them may I suggest upgrading to bamboo. It is way more absorbent :)

Don't know anything about those sorry. Have a look at some of these:

Baby Beehinds Magicalls
Bumgenius OSFM pockets
Fluffy Bubs
Itti Bitti D'lish
Genesa Forge
Blueberry OSFM pockets
Issy Bear OSFM pockets

Hmmm trying to think of easy-to-get and practical ones.

I like pockets because they're so quick drying - especially the shells. If you have a few extra inserts, you can dry the shells of some of them in half an hour.

BBH Magicalls are good, but they take a while to dry and are sized. Same with Genesa Forge - take a while to dry and sized.

Fluffy Bubs are good - they are an AI2 (shell which has a snap in booster) and a pocket. Very cute too.

:ecomcity: I could go on all day.

At the moment I'm loving Blueberrys and my old favourite Bumgenius which dries in no time.

There's also a whole world of harder to get nappies which are great, but I won't go there because it'll be too confusing!!

Hi
I use the Motherease Rainbow One Size (cotton) nappies for DS and I LOVE THEM.

I wanted nappies with separate covers because a) you need fewer covers so it's cheaper and b) I wanted to be sure that the nappies are throughly clean and dry.

DS was 7lbs 7 when he was born and we have used them since day one. We now (9 mths) boost at night and are going great guns.

We bought the full time package (24) with 12 boosters and 4 small covers. I have since upgraded the covers but only bought 2 in each size which is working fine.

I wash every second day.

I would recommend the wetbag too for when you are out and about.

I got mine from Louise at NipNaps. :)

Try getting yourself 4 or 5 types and then when you are able to use them you'll find what suits you and your bub best. I can highly recommend getting an Itti Trial pack - this will give you 2 nappies, one of each sort. Also Baby Beehinds Minky Magicalls are nice too. Maybe randomly pick another 2 types and see how you go from there.

Goodluck!
