Okay... so my little 9 month old is quite the spoilt little princess..
shes been fully breastfed and refuses solids.. ive pretty much had enough of feeding her as shes bitting me and scratching/pulling my skin during feeds and pulling off n gazing around and just generally being a pain in the bum lol

so anyway long story cut short i decided i wanted to start giving her 1 bottle a day for the next few months n slowly increase it till shes off the breast

ive got some TT closer to nature bottles, an Avent bottle and a Mam Ultivent bottle

the only one she will even attept to suck on is the Mam

we tried s26 gold she wouldnt drink it, someone said try s26 original she wouldnt drink that either

then i did some research and found alot of people saying bellamy's organic

so we got that.. and guess what....
she still wont drink it lol

she will be screaming hungry and wont take it, ive tried having my partner feed her

im also still trying to give her solids every day and she still wont eat :(

im so frustrated i dont know why she wont drink/eat... what am i doing wrong?? :crying:

:hugs: i dont have alot of advice but you did say she has been fully bf. can you possibly express? with formula, all i can suggest is keep buying until she finds one she likes. have you perhaps tried it out of a sippy cup? she might drink the formula out of one of those perhaps.

:DI've been trying (unsucessfully) to get my DS to take a bottle for a while now so here is some of the advice I've heard.
Start with EBM in a bottle (will she drink this?) then give 3/4 EBM and 1/4 formula and then slowly increase the amount of formula until she will drink it.
If she wont even drink EBM out of a bottle (as my DS wont) you can try a sippy cup.
Not sure if you should try a sippy cup with water first, or EBM first, but apparently you should use a different sippy cup (differnet colour or whateer) for water and EBM, so they know what to expect when you give the sippy cup. Best to start with a sippy cup that doesn't have a non-spill valve, as they sometimes have trouble making these ones work.

First up - you're doing nothing wrong! The suggestions above sound good... the only thing I can think to suggest is to keep trying different teats and bottles as I know some babies just don't like some of them. :hugs: I'm just around the corner if I can do anything for you. Kris.
