Who made pumpkin pie? :laughing: I was home recently but didn't even think to bring a tin of pumpkin back with me to make a pie with. :o

You can buy tinned pumpkin? Is tinned pumpkin better than fresh? (as in quality so it isn't too runny or something?)

Place is full of pumpkins here with Halloween looming. I'm sick of it already!

Oh - I'm going back next week after a quick jaunt to Boston - I can't wait - my family is holding thanksgiving for us again when we get there and I can't wait for pumpkin pie! I'm going to bring lots of tins back this time I think...

Nope, not better quality but much easier for making pies as you don't have to cook and purree the pumpkin yourself. Tinned is a thickesh purree consistency. You can also buy pumpkin pie filling, already spiced.
