Hi!

I am new to the forums and have been living in Perth for just 12mnths, having moved over from Sydney.

My little one, Jaime, will be 4 in September and I am looking for somewhere to have her party. We have been to a couple at Go Banana's but she is a little timid and they can be a bit boisterous for her. I need somewhere were the kids are not as big I guess! We are renovating so having it at home is not an option according to my husband!

Would also be interested in meeting some new friends as have found it hard to settle in since being here - still feel like a bit of a visitor :D Jaime is 4 and we have another due mid-december. I am mid-thirties and we are north of the river in Morley.

Cheers and thanks for any input you might have!

hi georgie,
at Kings Park there is a place called the Western Power Parkland, ths is great for kids there is heaps of play equipment, a lake, big grassed area for running and kicking balls. There are also BBQ's. If you want somewhere closer to Morley try Hyde Park in North Perth, it has water jets that shoot up that kids can play in, a smaller playground and BBQ's lots of shade...very nice.

Or there are places like Fun Station which are indoors and more controlled.

Best of luck

Hi Georgie
I've just joined up (literally). I'm in Bayswater - not too far from Morley. I've got a 4 year old and a 1 year old. There are some good places around. Ivy Watson in Kings Park is made for littles and is a very relaxed outing. They have a covered area you can book for party's. Good luck with settling in
