no more work for you for 6 months woo hoo, sounds like everything else is well with you and leon.
dearmum i am going to have to jump through my lap top to your house and give you a big smack on the bum for eating all those tim tams. i guess you didnt test your sugar levels after eating them
lmao.
sounds like you could make the magic 36 weeks, i will cross my fingers for you.
noahsmum sorry to hear your back has been aching from work, hope you arent over doing it.
mine was so sore after cleaning the house the other day.
great to hear noah enjoyed his time at your mothers group and he was a big boy and didnt cry at his injection. it would have been funny to see him giving that nurse a dirty look hehe.
kimmy i wish you all the best for little dylans arrival. it is great to hear his head is engaged and could come anytime now. i know you cant wait to meet him as we all cant wait to meet our bubs but you sound like you are in a bit of pain.
i am not looking forwards to the peeing all the time bit as it feels like that already.
maorimama sorry to hear about your midwife friend passing away.

i had my farewell from work yesterday and they gave me a 3 pack of muslin wraps and 3 pack of jumpsuits for tyler and a large flower arrangement for myself. (i kinda expected the flowers as it was a flower company i worked for haha.
have a great weekend everyone.

Well just got home from having my CTG anyway it showed my girl had a few drops in her heart beat so now there concerned and i need to go back for another CTG tommorrow:rolleyes:im guessing if its the same they will bring them out:smiliedance:i would have loved to have made it to 36 weeks but im so over all the aches and pains im just wanting to meet my babies now. Will pop in again tommorrow if not will txt Maorimama with my news:fingerscrossed:
Sorry cant do personals im busy packing my bags and washing bubbs clothes:D
Hi Ladies,
Bella- Am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your news really gutted me. I guess that news makes us really realise how precious our bub's are. I cant offer much words of comfort, except they say if you loose one early that there is a reason for it. I hope you finally get your bubba.:hugs:
Dearmum- Is everything ok with your little girl? You sound excited, s'pose its only a matter of when they take bubba's out. Good luck to you. I am excited for you! Cant wait to hear of your good news.
Sorry I cant do everyones personals this evening, I am so battered after today, prehaps if I have time tomorrow I will talk about it then. Good night!
Grrr, sorry if this is a double up, website kicked me off and i was in middle of a post.
Bella - I am so sorry to hear your new and just wanted to say take the time to grieve. I hope to see you on here again soon with better news. Please don't give up on hope. Are the doctors checking you out to see why this is happening. My mum had 3 miscarriages before me and nearly lost me at 12 weeks but went on to have me and my brother:kiss:
DM - How exciting you get to see your babies soon. The doctors sound like they are keeping a close eye on you and you have done really well in getting to 34 weeks for twins.
AFM - Well i am here typing away 5.30am after lying awake since 4am. So not impressed.
Bubs is heaps active, think its the sugar i had tonight. Will teach me not to do a big bakeoff.
Found out last night that my friend who is not due til end of Nov had her hind waters break but they managed to stop the labour so she is home but they are going to just deliver if she goes again. They gave her a full dose of steroids for its lungs. Thats 2 friends now, the other one has been in hospy for 2 weeks and is there til bubs is born. I'm the one who has had issues and they had trouble free pregnancy and whats the bet, i will go full term and they will have theirs early LOL
WEll its getting cold here so going to try to get some sleep and go back to bed. Cross fingers. Night
Hi Ladies,
Not much happening here today. Well I've been busy, but nothing exciting to report. Done all my work, have to start doing something with baby's room soon:p Happy about that one.
Bit sad today. Think its because I have been having to deal with my DH's ex. Something I cant avoid, but her and I used to be friends about 4 years ago, which was 6 years after she and my DH split, but she is really nasty and is always trying to make me feel inadequate and stupid. She is always trying to undermine me and dominate me. Im fighting back, but she keeps me on my toes. Im not used to dealing with someone who is so nasty and cunning. Anyway thats my whinge for today. Only its making me feel a little insecure, guess thats what she wants. Well, I've decided, screw her. Why cant I hold my chin up high and have a 'screw you' attitude? Oh dear.....
Quiet in here today. No word on Dearmum? I cant wait to hear some news! What about Kimmy, is wednesday still the go for her? Dont know if Im up to date with my info, but good luck everyone with everything. :D

Just thought I would update you girls on the 4-24 due early 2010 thread. So far we are expecting 3 girls and 1 boy  Im so surprised the girls are in the lead!
Hi Zoe Im guessing your a stepmum too! Its damn hard work isnt it. Dealing with the ex being the biggest pain in the bum. Anytime you want to talk Im your girl!
Its all very exciting for you girls atm with you due dates so close. We will be watching. Best of luck:wave:
heather - It was funny seeing him give the lady a dirty look, i'm just glad he didn't cry... It's always good to do a big spring clean before bub arrives just don't over do it.
Bella - I'm so sorry for your loss.
DM - How are you today?
Zoe - I know it's hard but don't let her get to you, you know what your probably only feeling like this because your hormones are running wild atm. You hold your head up high huni at the end of the day you and DH are happy and having a bubba together
Any news on Kimmy or Dearmum??
AFM - I woke up at 1am this morning with cramps sorry TMI i realised i hadn't been to the loo in a few days! Then bubs decides to move and kick like crazy kept me up until 4.30am i was buggered. I did the 2nd coat on the skirting in bubs room i have one last coat to do tomorrow then DH will paint the inside of the wardrobe and put the rail up and we are all finished. I am hoping he can put bubs shelf up and DS new car seat in the car as well tonight well before we loose daylight anyways. Oh i called the place i brought DS bed from they shipped the container with his bedroom suite to Perth if it doesn't arrive next week i am going to be very cranky i think i might ask for a refund on our delivery since i have had to wait so long.

Hi Ladies....haven't been back to the older thread to catch up yet....
We had our booking interview at the hospital yesterday and the midwife said if I go into spontaneous labour that I had roughly an hour  to get there due to having fast labours in the past....freaking out a bit cause if DH is at work it takes him 45mins to get home. Oh well will just have to work around it. Have had a pretty full-on weekend....it was DS 15th b'day yesterday so we have been busy busy and I have a really strong nesting urge going on atm.
Be back to do personals tomorrow :flowerz:
hi ladies .. just popping in to say hi ... will need to catch up and do personals ..
just wanted to send BIG :hugs: to Bellamama .. so sorry to hear your news ... thinking of you are hoping you are doing as well as expected ...all the best to you and your DH ...
MM - WOW i can't believe your just being booked in now, it's interesting how different the hospitals are. That's alright DH cousin has always had 1.5-2hr labours her 1st 2 were induced and it takes her 25mins to get to the hospital with her 3rd she went into labour on her own called a ambo and bubs was born in the back of the ambo on the side of the freeway on the way to the hospy!
Any news on Dearmum or kimmy yet?
:wave:Ladies
Sorry i tried to log on yesterday but my computer was very slow so i gave up.
I went in and had 2 lots of CTGs and my girl is still showing a slower heart compared to my boy,the midwife did seem concerned but when she told the doc about it they just ask for me to come back in on Wednesday:rolleyes:so anyway im not to happy about that coz what if something goes wrong,so im off to see them again and get another CTG.Pain in the butt but id rather be on the safe side coz im still worried sick.
Hi Bellamum....:hugs:So sorry to hear your sad news, dont give up hope you can get pregnant,i hope the doctors can find out why your having these M/cs.
Hi Maorimama....Babe did they give you a hospital tour? yeh if theres no one to take you get a cab dont go waiting ok.Gawd its getting close now hey.
Hi Zoe....:hugs:Dont let her get to you ok you dont need the extra stress ATM coz it goes to your bub.
Hi NM.....Yeh i would be pi$$d off to waiting so long for a bed on order they should even take your money if its going to take so long or they should have been honest and told you from the start its going to take this long.
You seemed like a busy bee on the weekend sounds like the nursery must be finished now.
Hi Mrs Mermaid.....Thanks for updating us on whats happening your side. How have you been? iv missed you.
Hi IBB....I hope you made up on sleep.
Yeh with babies theres no telling when there going to come, all we can hope for is when they do let them be healthy.
Hows all our other mummies today??
Hi Girls..
Hope everyone is well and full of energy unlike myself who has no energy.....
Well had to have an U/S this morning to check on Bubs and some blood tests to check my blood count and Iron and B12 Levels.
U/S went well, Bubs is measuring a week and half ahead so I am measuring 37.3 weeks and will be 36 weeks on Thursday  and apparently she is already over 7 pounds  sonographer thinks it will be a big bubba (I am hoping not) as DS was only 7p3oz but I have to say at the same u/s with him they said he would be over 9pounds and he came out 7p3oz so who knows, Songrapher also comfirmed it is a girl, has lots of hair already and has long legs........but it was lovely to see her again, got a 4d shot also, which I will upload when I get home, quite clear pic for the album. And placenta has moved up from to 4cm away from the cervix so all o.k I think.....
Seeing OB on Wednesday so will get my blood results then.....
DM - Sorry to hear about your little girl, but if they were really concerned they wouldn't have let you leave hospital....
Bellamama - SO so Sorry.....:crying::hugs: it is not fair sometimes.....
 to everyone else....
Only 9 days of work left for me :smiliedance:
Hello Ladies:wave:
I'm back..
I just went in and picked my computer up, so now I just hope that no more nasties come and shut me down:geek: again!!
I have 10 days left, well this time in 10 days I hope to be well on the way to meeting Dylan.. I haven't gone back yet and seen what is happening, but I want to thank bubbs for her updates on me and for you ladies for your good vibes..
I go to the doc on Wednesday to get an est weight on Dylan and if all good I will be induced on the 22nd.. (unless they have no rooms left and I will be sent home)
As much as I love being pregnant and wanted to be here so much, I'm over it:laughing: I am so sore, I can't sleep but I have cleaned windows and overall my house is spotless:yelclap: (i'm still very excited about getting my computer back)..
I have missed my bubhub friends:hugs:, so much to catch up on but no doubt that I will over the next few days. With nanna naps included..
Well better run and check my emails, been 3 weeks!!
Cheers

NM yeah I thought it was late to be getting booked in at this point....I am so used to it happening at 12wks back home but I guess different system here even between the states. Man I would be ****ed to put it politely about DS bed....that is such poor service. Hopefully it arrives soon.
Bella so sorry to hear your news :hugs:.
Kimmy oooh the countdown is on, I wonder who will go first between you and DM? Don't overdo it too much before the BIG day will you?
JCR I have never found scans to be very accurate in gauging the weight of babies. Great to hear that the placenta has moved....does this mean you can have a vaginal birth?
Zoe that is so unfair to be treated like that....to me it sounds like your DH's ex is jealous of you and is doing all she can to undermine you....don't let her okay....stay strong and be confident in the fact that your DH loves you.
BOO my kids are back at school tomorrow so it's good bye to sleepins and lazy days and hello again to routine....having said that I have a real urge to clean/tidy/be busy....think I may be nesting :D. It's such a big impluse that I can't seem to control....I am full of energy.
good afternoon my precious BH ladies ..
MM - share that energy around plllllllllleeeeeeease ! I could do with a burst  I agree with Dearmum .. as soon as you feel like that bubba is coming jump in a cab ... no time for waiting ... do you have a neighbour that you could possibly put on notice for me when DH is at work ?
Dearmum - how are you hon ? Hope your not too stressed, like on of the other ladies said, if they were worried you would still be in hospital, try and stay positive .. sending some extra :goodvibes: for your baby girl ... I am thinking that you will be meeting your precious twins very soon .. how exciting .. make sure you rest up while you can .. take care
Kimmy - exciting times for you too hon .. not long now ... you make sure you rest up while you can as well and I am sure you will be out of your pregnancy pain soon .. however I can't say that you will be sleeping anymore :D
NM - you would have thought you ordered a custom made bed having to wait that long .. giggled at your DH giving the nurse a dirty look .. at least he got his point across .. big brave boy he is !
JCR - sounds like you need some of MM energy as well ... rest up sweet ... not long to go now .. at least you know your bubbs is a good healthy size ... but for your sake hopefully stick around the 8 pd .. no bigger .. glad to hear your placenta has moved :yelclap:
Zoe - dont you waste any of your precious time or energy feeling inadequate .. your DH married you and is now having a gorgeous baby with you .. that no doubt grates at his ex and her confidence ... keep your head high and let her comments fall on deaf ears ... pffft, who does she think she is !
Mrs M - thanks for the update on the other thread, wow that is certaintly different % that this thread ... your pregnancy seems to be flying on by .. hope all is well with you ...
my3 - how are you enjoying the first day of maternity leave ???
Meliko - how are you precious boys hon .. hoping they are still thriving and growing and getting the chance to get lots of cuddles from mummy and daddy ..
hi heather, bubbs, any everyone else .
AFM .. well had another belly pop over the weekend .. and my babies are certainly loving the extra space .. they are moving and shaking and kicking up a storm, I just love it. Still in Melbourne .. missing my DH ... becoming very clingy to him at the moment and hate being away from him.. but will be home tomorrow :smiliedance: and no more travel for me - YIIIPPEEE .. weekend was sensational, my first sober wedding ... but I am seriously dragging my butt around, need to catch up on some
hope everyone has had a great Monday ..
Hi Ladies
Well i went in and had another CTG and today my girls readings were better:rolleyes:so the wait continues. She has a low heart rate but the midwife said that can be from her being squashed, they had her results gone over by a second opinion so thats ok.Just gota go in again Wednesday for a scan & CTG & Doc appt and see how things go then.
Feeling very:sleeping:its all the stress thats made me tired.
Hi JCR....Its good to hear your Big girl is doing well it must be good to hear she is measuring one week ahead.I always had 7 pounders and thats big enough:laughing:keep intouch with your results.
Hi Kimmy....:smiliedance:Yay nice to have you back hehe its good to hear Dylan is still holding on,i was wondering who is going to be first you or me it may be a close call.Huh i agree im sooo over being pregnant now,i would be ok with it if my back didnt give me hassels or i could get comfortable but its just not happening.
Hi Jojo....Babe send us some of the wedding photos you must look fab in your red dress.Babe enjoy this stage in the pregnancy coz it only gets harder
Hi Maorimama.....Yeh boo to school starting i was only just starting to get use to sleeping in and now back to 6.30 wake ups.Ahhh well i better get use to it coz soon it will be wake ups all through the night EEK.
I was looking over the thread and just wanted to pop in and say some words to dearmum!
Dearmum- I dont want to scare you honey but trust your gut instinct! What you have mentioned remined me so much of our situation... Bailey's heart rate was slower than normal and they said it was due to "space" and being squashed by the other two. 24 hours later that precious little heart beat was gone. I stressed to the dr's so much about bailey and trusted their medical advise and its the worst thing I ever did! If your really concerned honey go to the hospital and stand your ground for constant monitoring. I know how precious these babies are to you and would hate to see anything happen. Once again I dont want to scare you, I just couldnt sit by without telling you my experiance. Remeber... mother knows best!!
Jojo- my boys are fantastic! Both in big boy cots not, caleb got moved today. Caleb has a low red blood count so will need a blood transfusion tonight or tomorrow so we're on call. It's nothing serious, apparently its very common in premmi babies. They are such happy little men. We get to get them out and hug them when ever we want now! Its awesome!!! How are you going??
Hi Meliko.....:crying:OMG thats just what my hubby has been telling me,i feel so scared about all this that its not funny. The thing is i go to a public hospital and they wont keep me in without doctors orders:no:im going to stress as much as i can on Wednesday that i want these babies delivered.I also feel i cant trust doctors because i put my trust into a specialist last year and i ended up losing my boy from the doctors neglect, thats why im stressing so much these days because i cant handle the idea of losing what iv got again.I feel a bit stuck really because they proberly wont listen to me:(im not sure if its time for me to bring on the labour myself somehow.
Ladies what do you reckon?
Babe your lucky getting to cuddle your boys each day give them a big hug from me ok.I hope Calebs blood transfusion goes well im sure it will:hugs:
Babe how much are they weighing now?
JCR - My DS was measuring in front as well at 35wks he was 7p 7oz i had him at 39wks 2d and he ended up being 9p!
Kimmy - Glad to hear all is well with you. Fingers crossed you are able to be induced on the 22nd. My friend had a baby a week ago and was sent home for 2 days as they didn't have the room for her, i hope that doesn't happen to you
MM - I was booked in at my 1st appt, oh well at least your all booked in now! I called them and they said it should be here next week. It bloody better be here next week.. Def sounds like your nesting!
DM - How are you, i hope your not to stressed. I know you must be full of worry right now try and stay postive. I agree with Meliko if your not happy go back to the hospital and stick to your guns!
Jojo - yeah i know you would think it was custom made hey! yeah i wish i had a video camera! Are you at the point now where you can feel your belly stretching?
Meliko - Great to hear your boys are doing so well. When will they be aloud home?
Not much happening here i am feeling like a whale. The nursery is nearly finished i have one more coat of paint to do on the inside of the wardrobe and we have to paint the wardrobe doors then it's all finished. I called the bed place yesterday they think DS bed should be here next week. It bloody better be! Bubs is moving and kicking around like crazy still, it does bother me a little that she is measuring a week behind i'm not use to that DS was 2wks in front by now LOL.. Oh well i have a midwife appt tomorrow so will see how i am measuring then

Dearmum I agree with Meliko.
One word you can tell the hospital that will gaurantee they will let you stay is LIABILITY. Tell them you will hold them liable if they do not monitor you constantly. That you dont feel confident that your babies are going to be ok. They dont want to get sued and that word scares them.
Cry, thow a tantrum and demand that they keep you monitored.
It is amazing you have carried them so far.
Best of luck dearmum.
Hi Ladies,
Haven't you all been chatty...good...its nice to come back from a weekend to see all this chatter happening.
Dearmum - I agree with Meliko, go and stress to the hospital and demand for them to monitor u closely... :hugs: :fingerscrossed:
Maorimama - How was first day back at school for the kids...u must have missed having them around??
Zoe - Why is ex still luming around??? Hmmm...i would be feeling insecure myself...but don't feel threatened...ur DH is yours and like someone here said (can't remember who) u're both having a baby together and don't ever let her talk down to u...if she does, give it back to her.
Kimmy - Nice to see u back online hun...was more then happy to update on ur behalf.
Another 10 days to go...exciting exciting.
JCR - Not long for u either hun...hope it goes fast.
Meliko - I am so happy to hear that both babies are now in big cots...it must be so precious to just take them out whenever u want to give them a cuddle.
Are u at the hospital pretty much all day??
NM - How are u going? Looks like u're fully into doing up the nursery...thats great. I am sure its looking awesum. Looking forward to seeing the pics...?
Jojo - Yes i agree, wanna see pics of the wedding...
I think pregnancy makes us much more clingy to DH...i find that is happening with me too.
Ibb - I truely hope u don't follow in the footsteps of ur friends and take ur bub to full term. :fingerscrossed: for u hun.
Heather - Not long to go now for work...i bet u can't wait.
My3boys - How does it feel being at home and taking things at ur own pace? Have u got much to do??
And Hi to anyone else I might have missed.
AFM - I had my obs appointment yesterday. My sugar results came back absolutely normal so I was very very relieved with that. I guess watching what u actually consume in pregnancy surely does help. I have been careful somewhat in terms of sugar intake.
My Fundal height is measuring 32...and I am 28 weeks this week.
my haemoglobin also came back normal which was a surprise to me again as I am a vegetarian and had iron issues from early on but surely eating spinach and having my daily iron tablets are helping out.
I have my growth scan tomorrow morning so can't wait to see how both babies are growing. really looking forward to it. I have then decided to take the rest of the day off as inalws are flying overseas in the afternoon.
Am 28 weeks this week and last week of work. woohoo :smiliedance:
:wave:Ladies
Thanks so much for all your encouragement:yes:tommorro i will be seeing the doctor and yep going to stick my grounds on getting monitored more closly or bring them on.Just hope they listen.
Hi Bubbs.....:yelclap:Babe good for you getting the clear with your diabettes test.Your doing great so far hey, cant beleive your 28 weeks already.Enjoy seeing bubbas again tommorro, let us know how much there weighing ok.
Hi NM....Babe i think it must be a girl thing maybe they just grow slower but in the end catch up,mine all weighed around the same 7 pounds but my girls were 2cms shorter than my boys so i would say your girl is just going to be smaller than your boy.I hope the bed comes next week for you its been way to long.Cant wait to see your finished nursery.
Hi Mrs Mermaid....Hun:hugs:thanks so much for your advise,im going to put it exactly like you said and see how it goes.Hows your little girl?any names picked out yet?
Howdy to our other ladies:wave:

Dearmum pack your bags and go to the doctor today if you can. If you go tomorrow plan on being in hospital till your babies are born. You can insist. Threaten to call the minister of health, the hospital CEO anyone just dont let them make you leave. Legally they cant.
AFM: Im good, fantatic, and still on :cloud9: I go for another scan on thursday. Since we found out bubs gender I have to keep the name under wraps till baby is born. Dh has made me promise.
Morning ladies.
Bellamama: I am so, so sorry for our loss. :hugs: I don't know what to say to help you at this difficult time :hugs:
dearmum: I agree with the others, you should stand your ground and stress to them that you need constant monitoring. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and you get admitted.
kimmy: i hear you on the aches and pains. Hopefully Dylan will decide to come on his own within the next week to surprise his mummy and daddy :D
JCR: I heard that scans can be inaccurate when it comes to determining bub's weight. I guess as long as your little girl is doing well then that is all that you can ask for.
Bubbs: great to hear that your GD test came back normal and that your hemoglobin levels are good as well. Have fun seeingyour bubbas at the scan tomorrow.
NM: I have heard that girls usually measure smaller than boys at the same gestational stage. I think a week behind is common and as long as she is doing well in there then things should be OK (even if she is smaller than dates).
Melkio: Its great to hear that your boys are progressing so, so well. Also fantastic that they have both grduated to big boys beds as well.
Moarimama: WOW can't believe that you have such fast labors. Do you think you can send some fast laboring vibes this way? All jokes aside, I agree with dearmum. If your hubby is at work, then call a cab or call the ambos if you go into labor. Hopefully your little boy will stay in there for several more weeks so that you can go full term.
ibb: Hopefully your friend and her bub are doing OK. It must be very scarey to have your hind waters break and know that bub can come very early. Hope you are doing as well as can be at the moment.
jojo: fantastic news that you won't have to travel anymore :smiliedance: Great to hear that the bubbas are doing well and kicking up a storm!
Mrs Mermaid: Thanks for letting us know how the ladies are in your thread. Wow you have more girls than our thread, although I think the girls are catching up here
Zoe: Hugs darl. Don't let your DH's ex get to you, that is what she wants. You are the one that he is with now, so don't let her ever make you feel insecure.
Hello to everyone else that I have missed.
AFM: Mat leave has not gotten off to a good start. I have a very sore throat and am coming down with something. Went to the docs and all she said was have OJ or lemon juice....hmmmm Oh well. DS is on antibiotics as well as his temp has been spiking at around 38.5 even after having pandol, plus the poor thing is very sick. Hoopefully I can get over this cold soon as bubba comes in 4 weeks and I don't want to feel run down before the delivery. Plus I have had the worst 2 nights sleep ever. Talk about insomnia! Anyways, have a headache and am going to lie down now. Hope you guys all have a good week.
Morning ladies:wave: (yes it's still morning)
I have been out of bed for about 1/2 hour now:yelclap:, and I feel normal again, nothing happening my way. I just wish my back and hips didn't hurt, getting up and going to the toilet is a nightmare the pain is unbelievable but comes ok after a little walking.
DM- I agree with the other ladies:yes: demand more attention. I still think you will go first, or my3boyz could still pip us at the post..
Meliko- WOW, the boys are now in big beds, that really sounds cute and being able to hold them when ever must be a fantastic feeling also.
bubbs- last week at work, that is exciting on it's own!! Your pregnancy sounds like it is going along nicely with all your tests coming back good.. Well done hun..
my3boyz- not long to go now:hugs: I know how you a feeling I love my nanna naps but then I don't sleep at night, it's a nasty circle we are in. At least when our babies are born we might get a few comphy hours in.. At least being home you can rest as much as you like.
Bellamumma- I'm so sorry for your loss, I felt your pain last time this never gets easy.
JCR- You don't have long to go now aswell do you?? I'm having Dylan's weight est tomorrow, as long as he is under 7 1/2 pound all will be good for me.. Mind you that still isn't a big baby.
Moarimama- I agree with m3b, call the ambo's and get DH to meet you there. I have to travel just over an hour but I would have to wait for DH to get home which would be about 20 mins (with him driving about 10):ecomcity: I just hope they don't send me home on the 22nd..
Well ladies with all my chocolate addiction I have put on 5 kilo, with 9 days to go I'm just not going to worry about it at all.. I'm still in my pj's and I told DH I wasn't going to do a thing today:yelclap: so far all I have done is sleep and eat..
Well better go and sit on the couch..
Take care ladies and HI to ones I missed, I'm still catching up with you all

Dearmum I just realised I was telling you to demand those two little embies right from the start  now Im telling you to demand again  ahhh so funny.
If I lived closer I would go in with you and stage a sit it till you got treatment
bubbs - All the painting is nearly finished. We need to get it all finished so DS can sleep in there while we paint his room. Hopefully either next week or the week after i will be decorating bubs room. My Fundal height was always 4-6wks ahead but then again you are having twins
DM - I'm starting to agree i don't think this bubba is going to be as big as DS, i would be very shocked if she came out the same size as DS. Mind you i don't know what i will do with a small baby LOL
My3 - I'm not overly concerned she is kicking and moving around like crazy and the midwifes aren't concerned they say a week behind is normally nothing to worry about. I will just double check tomorrow.. You poor thing i hope you and DS are feeling better soon. I had really bad insomina in my last 4weeks with DS i really hope i don't get it this time. The lack of sleep and looking after a toddler is not fun
Kimmy - Awww i would love to have one of those days doing nothing and sleeping and eating all day..
I tell you what this pregnancy brain!!!!! I was weighed at my physical the other day i thought i had put on 8.5kgs was whinging to DH and my mum about how much weight i had put on only to realise that i can't count! I had only put on 4.5kgs... Then on Monday night we put DS new car seat in the car and on the other side so he now sits behind the driver i went to put him in the car this morning went to the wrong side got to the shops to get him out went to the wrong side again. Was about to put him in the car on the wrong side before i realised what i was doing... Seriously!!!!!
here is a webiste i picked up from another thread in regards to natural induction...
http://www.lifepassages.net/NaturalInduction.html
Not too sure if its any help but its good to know for ppl that are overdue by 10 or so days.
A lady in another thread i read is overdue by 14 days and doesn't want to be induced...they'll induce her this thursday if she hasn't had bubba by then...she is too scared as her first was induced and she doesn't want to put up with the pain but wants it done naturally.
Does induction really hurt???
Kimmy - Enjoy ur nice relaxing day today...lucky u. I was at home yesterday after my tests and cleaned up the house as it was a mess...i didn't get a chance over the weekend. Although am really looking forward to next week when i can clean and rest too...atleast won't need to clean up daily so can do it every couple of days...then i can also have nighty days like u. :smiliedance: :yelclap:
My3boys - Sorry to hear about ur cold/sore throat hun...please take it easy and if u don't feel better, head to the doctors. :hugs:
NM - pregnancy brain...i told my mum i have been using that excuse to get away with alot of things at home and she said nothing of that sort happens...u guys put ur mind to it and thats why it happens. HA HA...she said to me that i was naughty...i enjoy it as i get away with so much at home...but i am finding i do genuinely forget things too...mum goes its all in my mind. YEAH RIGHT. :ecomcity:
Dearmum - will surely update on how my bubs are doing...although i already suspect my left Twin A is bigger then my right Twin B as my left side of teh tiny is slightly more elevated. Amazing actually. we'll get the real results tomorrow.
Oh yes we also ordered our cots and mattress on the weekend...we got the tasman eco in Capri White...we bought two. my parents have offered to pay for one and my sis and her hubby have offered to pay for the other...so thats very sweet and generous of them.
bubbs- I have never gone naturaly, induced 3 times and yes it hurt.. but I can't compare to a normal labour..
Well I'm feeling like complete poo, had a few stabbing pains, but I don't think they are going anywhere added with a huge back ache.. I think I need a cuppa..
Kimmy
Kimmy - What are contraction pains like??? I know its like period cramps only 1000 worse but am jus curious. I guess i'll never really know until the time comes eh.
It's starting to scare me a little now too when i think about it...i just haven't got a clue what to expect.
But i do feel positive about it for some reason.
Kimmy - Where are u getting sharp pains ???
bubbs- you will know a contraction when you feel them:laughing: Yes they hurt, but it's the best pain in the world.. I'm looking forward to it.. (sounds crazy) it's like a throb that gets worse, then goes and comes back again (a few times over) my first labour I woundered what all the fuss was over.. My 2nd and 3rd labours were a little worse but my babies were bigger and that could have alot to do with it.
Don't be scared, get excited look forward to it, it will make it alot easier.. and remember there are good drugs and don't be scared to ask for them!!! OH as soon as those babies are out, it's all over, no more pain..
My pains are just weird.. my poor body doesn't know what to do with itself:D
Kimmy - U know i do feel positive but with twins on board...i just have to do it all twice thats all. which worries me...but i do want it natural all the way..VB...keeping my fingers crossed that thats what happens.
Did u have epidural for any of ur births???
no just gas and pethadine, I also found that sitting straddled like on a chair backwards or an exercise ball helped more than just laying on the bed... a DH to yell at does the trick as well, makes them feel involved:laughing::laughing:
Kimmy -  I'll keep the yelling at DH thing in mind. :yelclap:
Hi My3boys.....Your not sounding to good i hope this cold goes away and stays away coz yep not long until its "your" day.Poor DS give him a big hug from me ok.
Hi Mrs Mermaid.....:DYes your right and funny enough i have followed your instructions and got my way.I wish you were here.
Hi Kimmy....Oh dont ya love these last few weeks NOT! iv had a fair few braxton hicks also with this pregnancy yet i didnt get them at all with my other 5 pregnancies,i need my stitch out i reckon thats whats delaying my birth.I told hubby ok tonight i want you to do it rough:laughing:but he is way to scared. So yeh im just waiting day after day for Dylan.
Hi NM.....Haha prego brain i think i was born with one LOL
Hi Bubbs....Hehe babe giving birth is different for everyone.Iv had "one" natural going into labour and the rest were induced and the pain was the same the only good thing about being induced is your at hospital and ready for those drugs straight away:peven my labours were all around 3 hrs with or without being induced.Im hoping i get induced with my twinnies because i want to be relaxed and get that dam stitch out before it rips everything and have a epidural thats a must.
Oh thanks for the info on Natural induction hmmm its tempting me to try a few out hehe.
Well my kids went back to school whoohoo i have the house to myself.I went back to bed and had a 3hr sleep.
Ladies im going to leave my appt until tommorro coz im still feeling her move, but expect me not to be around after tommorrow if i get my way.
Ok need some helpful "white Lies" so they can admit me ANYONE??
Bubbs - From what my friends have told me inductions are more painful labour is normally painful and fast! Gotta love mum's! Pregnancy brain is real i say! that's so nice of your family to pay for your cots, every little bit helps

Bubbs inductions are said to be more intense because your body doesn't get to warm up to it like if you were to go into spontaneous labour. I have only ever been induced so can't compare but I so hope I don't have to be this time. I had an epidural with 3 of mine because my bp wa so high and it helps to lower it but seriously it was hideous....only had enough to lower my bp and it only took effect on part of one side....my labour with DD was too far advanced for me to be given one so I was hooked up to a bp monitor until after she was born. My kiddies went back to school today and I am actually relishing in the peace and quiet but will start to miss them in a day or so. :smiliedance: you will be a lady of leisure from next week until your boys arrive.
Jojo if I could bottle my energy I would....especially as I will be seriously lacking in it once baby is here . You must be stoked to finally lay your roots and not have any more travelling to do.
Meliko great to hear how well your boys are doing....when do you think you'll be able to take them home with you?
NM ooh can't wait to see the finished nursery :yelclap:. Good luck with your appt tomorrow.
M3B you are so very close now....hope you can get a handle on that cold.....rest up.
Kimmy I seriously doubt whether I will go that fast once labour starts.....I have always thought of a spontaneous labour as something you build up too so I am hoping that I can read the signs well before hand. Wow not long now before Dylan makes his grand entrance.
Mrs M so you have found out what you are expecting.....have you told us yet? Not sure if I missed that or not.
Dearmum I think the Dr's here have alot to answer for.....seriously hon go to the hospital and DON'T budge.....do whatever it takes to be listened too, there is too much at stake.
Well I so overdid it yesterday.....felt very sore last night and could hardly move. Even though I was physically drained my mind was still pumping so I didn't get to sleep until the wee hours and then woke up at 6.30 this morning....it's nice to have some energy for a change but seriously I love my sleep and it's frustrating to not want to ./
Hey girls,
DM - Hope the docs listen to you today. Waiting to hear good news that you've been admitted and they are taking you seriously. Too big a risk not to stand your ground. GOod luck!
Meliko - Wow big boy cots now. That's fantastic. It sounds like your boys are coming along in leaps and bounds. I hope the transfusion goes well.
You sound like you are doing ok too
NM -Another week for the bed. That is such a ridiculous time to wait. I'd definately be getting the delivery free if not more.
Bubbs - I am so jealous of you finishing work this early. 2 on board must be so much more strenuous on your body. I see my ob on Tuesday and i am tossing up asking whether to work as long as i can but reduce my hours to 6 instead of 8 or take every Wed off. I can still handle working but the travels the hard part and i am getting tired and each day is getting harder.
MM - Glad everything is going well with you. We also are keeping our name under wraps. We decided once we confirm again tomorrow its a girl we will announce that in time for my baby shower too as everyone is asking and it should mean easier gender specific pressies but the name is our secret.
My3boyz - Hope you are feeling better soon so you can enjoy the leadup and get as much rest in before hand. I feel like i am coming down with a cold too, its going around at work.
Maorimam - Try to take it easy. I know what you mean though. I try not to do too much just before bed otherwise my mind and body are too wired and i can't sleep either.
Kimmy - I hope the pains do go somewhere soon and you get to meet your little bubby. It's defiantley a race now between you and DM. So exciting!
AFM - Well i've taken today off work. Had bad cramps last night and hurt my pelvis one time i got out of bed to walk it off plus think i'm coming down with a cold and just feeling tired so listening to my body and resting today.
Otherwise all has been good. Pelvis pain has been manageable. Started getting back pain this last week which is a bit achy but manageable. Leg cramps seem to be a bit less but they are the worst and wake me up randomly. i'm not even having toruble with my bladder. SOme days i might go a few more times in the morning but otherwise its not a bother.
Have my scan tomorrow morning so finally will see my bubby after over 2 months. Getting growth, gender, placenta checked plus will get 4d shots too so very excited about that. Bubs is kicking up a storm all the time now. Started getting kicks in the ribs just this last week but otherwise just regular boots in the tummy.
Expect to only have 4-5 more weeks of work left but will check with ob next week.
Morning Ladies:wave:
DM- Goodluck today, hope the doc listens.. My bet is that you still go before me:yes:
ibb- Great news, pelvis pain can get worse as you move along:o my poor back and pelvis seem to have a mind of there own now.. BUT take it easy and have a nice rest day..
maorimama- I know all about over doing it but the mind still going, drives me mad.. I find now the less I do the better I sleep. I would also have no idea what it would be like to go into labor on my own, I would love it to happen.
NM- Induced labors can also be slower, more intence but take longer due to the body not being "ready" all I know is mine hurt!!
m3b- How you feeling?? Not long for you now as well.. I'm only a few days infront of you, so you could still pip me at the post to!!
bubbs- I hope you warned DH to bring his ear plugs to the hospital:laughing:
Hi to you other wonderful ladies..
8 DAYS TO GO!!
Ladies I really can't wait to get the ball rolling.
I'm 37 weeks today.. I feel blessed to have made it this far, I still don't think I will relax till Dylan is in my arms..

Kimmy

Dearmum
Good luck! Dont let them bully you. Even say:
I feel bullied. I feel that you are forcing me to go when I think that will risk my babies. Is the hospital willing to accept liability if something goes wrong.
I doubt they will make you leave after that. You have to stand firm and refuse to budge.
I'm going to pm you my number so hold on a sec.

Morning Lovelies ,
Ibb I'm glad to hear you have been managing your pain....I find mine gets really bad when I overdo things and have been quite achy the last few days. Enjoy seeing your bub tomorrow.
Kimmy you are nearly at the end....woohoo :smiliedance:. I wish it was me that only had 8 days to go....time seems to be dragging for me now, but I still have a few more things to organise before the BIG day so just as well I do have some time up my sleeve.
Dearmum they can't forcibly make you leave the hospital....just pled your case and tell them you are there to stay until your babies arrival. Will be eagerly awaiting your text.
NM I reckon after all this drama with Noah's bed you should be given it for free....it's there stuff up not yours.
M3B how are your feeling today....hope that cold hasn't taken hold.
 Bubbs and Jojo.
Well I should feel absolutely shattered...I have only gotten about 8hrs sleep in the last 48hrs but I am still full of energy. I don't know what else I can do to try and stem it. My body isn't thanking me for my cleaning frenzy, so I don't think I will be doing too much today....just gotta learn to turn my brain off .
Ibb - You poor thing i hope your pain eases!
Kimmy - YAY 8 days to go i can't believe it!
DM - Have you tried any of the old wives tales to bring on labour?
AFM - Had my midwife appt today all is good BP is down a bit but they aren't worried! Got to listen to bubs HB and the little bugger moved around to kick it off... My GP's fundal height was incorrect she told me i was measuring 22 i am actually measuring 25. Oh also looks like i find out on the 18th December what day i will be having my c section
:wave:Ladies
Sorry for late reply iv been at the hospital most of the day:rolleyes:
Well went in and had my scan all seemed ok but it took my girl a while to move, and then had my CTG and she had a few drops in her heart beat once again but the midwifes said it could be her cord was stuck or something. So off i went to my doc and put it blunt im stressed out i told her and i want these babies out today anyway she laughed and she said well we could do a induction for 36 weeks:hair:so i told her look i lost a baby last year and im just so worried something will go wrong the last minute,so she decided to induce me next week:yelclap:its all booked for the 23rd a Friday,im so happy i have a date atleast.Still gota have another CTG on Saturday and another Scan on Wednesday,oh and im having the stitch out on Wednesday also so yeh its all happening yay!
She told me if my girl seems quiet to come in hmmm.
Sorry no personals tonight just so nakered!
Hi Ladies,
Well in the last 2 days I have attempted to write a post, but after I read everyone else's something comes up and I dont get the chance to write!:banghead: Well, there are alot of post's since I was here last. But I keep getting interupted, so tonight Im afraid I wont be able to go through them all to comment on what everyone has said, and I cant remember everything, so sorry if I miss anything or anyone. I shall try to catch up in the next few days.
Firstly I did want to say goodluck to Kimmy and Dearmum, its not long now. Gosh so close for you both, cant wait to hear some news!
Thankyou to everyone for your support with the 'ex' thing. Well, she and I had been sort of friends years ago, then (when she was with someone else mind you...) she got jealous when DH and I got together. She made some really horrible things up about me, luckily DH knows here to be a cronic liar and me to tell the truth, so she didnt win there. But since then she had been in touch with several people my DH knows and ran me down. I have since then met some of these people, who stupidly dont like me without even knowing me just because of what she said. I'm not loosing any sleep over it, if they want to be like that, they are not worth it I say. Anyway, since then, about 4 years ago, the ex has not been in touch with us. Then suddenly she got in touch, to cut a long story short, its over one of our horses. DH does not want to deal with her, so I am, which is good coz that pi$$'s her off!
Anyway, enough of that. I feel much better about it now, I feel much better about keeping my head up high, and realised the only reason she tries to intimidate me is because she is the one who is insecure and inadequate. Soon this will be all over, and she will be out of my life for good.
Had my blood glucose test done monday, get results tomorrow when I have an antenatal appointment. See how we go.
Hi Ladies:wave:
DM- atleast you have a date now, something to count down to..
Me my appointment went ok as well.. Dylan is approx 6'6".. and i'm getting induced on Tuesday 20th..
so
6 days to go!!
that's as long as they have a bed for me:eek:
Dylan is that low in my pelvis that doc couldn't even measure it!! So I started walking today, wonder if I can hit DH up tonight:laughing::laughing:
I'm all crampy now after my walk, but I bet it goes nowhere...:hair::hissy:
Cheers
Kimmy
DH - Yay for a date! Definately go in sooner though if you sense somethings not right. Gee what 1 week?
Kimmy - Yay for you too 6 days to go!! Dylan sounds like he is doing the right thing and getting ready to view the world. You never know it could be sooner.:fingerscrossed:
Just a quick one tonight. See ya
DM - Good on you huni for sticking to your guns, glad to hear everything is fine that's fantastic news next friday your bubba's will be here. So if your girl is too quite will they induce you earlier?
Zoe - Glad to hear your feeling better about the ex situation
Kimmy - YAY 6 days to go, DTD is suppose to be the wifes tale that works due to something in the sperm
AFM - Yesterday i went to read a book with DS when i pulled him up onto my lap i got a sharp pain in my belly, now bubs isn't moving as much and i'm FREAKING out. DH thinks i'm being silly as i heard her HB on the doppler an hour before hand. I put a ice pack on my belly this morning and she did a few kicks guess i will have to keep an eye on it today.
Morning Girls...
Kimmy - wow only 6 more sleeps to go, I am jealous wish I had that, I have 18 days to go :crying:, I am so over it, I had to sleep on the couch last night as I just cant get comfy in bed not to mention I can hardly breath when laiding on my back, bubba is quashing my lungs !!
Well I went to the OB yesterday and all is o.k, Blood are good except for my Iron Levels not anaemic anymore but still very low, so have to increase my iron tablets...
Bubba is still not engaged at all and my BP was o.k low end of high 138/92. So back next week and then only one more appointment left with my OB and its action jackson (as they say). Also I have now gained 15kg  in total but I am still 79.9kg so OB said thats fine.....
I have 6 days of work left and I must say I can wait, I hope its goes quick :smiliedance:! Wishful thinking!
DM- OMG thats next week and your twinnes will be here...Yay! I too have packed my bag just in case, just got to put my coming home outfit in..... just not sure what will fit.
NM - hope everything is o.k, Toddlers.... my DS jumps on me all the time and I to worry he is going to hurt bubba, but she also comes back with a savage boot.
Well got work to do unfortunately, staff apprasials...oh what fun!
Chat Later
Hi LAdies
JCR - 18 days to go...how lucky...i hope it comes fast for u hun...considering how fast the months are going...am sure it will fly...
Dearmum - Wow next week. YAY...how exciting for u. I truely hope that it all goes smoothly. Keep an eye out on ur little girl though.
Kimmy - 6 days... :yelclap: yippeee...i bet u can't wait till next week tuesday now...both U and Dearmum on the same week...looking forward to seeing teh arrivals thread starting up for us. :smiliedance:
NM - If u felt kicks today, ams ure ur little ones doing fine...but do take it easy when picking up ur DS...
Zoe - Glad to hear that DH doesn't want anythign to do with his ex...and thats the way it should be. Just do what u have to in terms of the horse and then just tell her to buzz off...must be frustrating but atleast u have ur DH now and thats all that matters.
Maorimama - Take it easy hun...i know how it feels when ur minds not at rest but ur bodies jus tired out...try to watch some soothing movie or aim to do meditation...that might relax u a bit.
Ibb - How are u going hun?
my3boys - How is ur cold now hun? I hope its going away.
Jojo - How are u going missy??
AFM - Had our 28 week growth scan yesterday...All was looking good...both bubbas are head down and we're hoping that they both stay that way. Twin A on my left is face up and twin B on my right is sleeping on its tummy. ones like my DH and the other is like me...i luv sleeping on my tummy nad DH loves sleeping on his back. :p
But both babies are approx 2.9 pounts each...so that was great to hear that they're growing at an equal rate.
I have my obs appointment in couple of weeks time so will get all the results then but the sonographer was pleased...and yes they're still boys...!!! :baby: :baby:
Inlaws also left yesterday...their 7 week break...the house is nice and quiet...less to cook and more time with DH...loving it.
my second last day at work...it still hasn't hit me yet and i will miss the social interaction at work and my independence that i get at work too...hmmm.
but atleast its only short term...then my life will be so busy wtih little ones that i won't be able to even think about work for a second.
WOW, we have some babies joining us very soon .. that is very exciting ... :yelclap:
Dearmum, JCR, Kimmy - hope you are all taking good care of yourselves .. and wishing you a comfortable couple of days ... I can only imagine your discomfort ... :hugs: you are all in my thoughts and I cant wait to hear news of your babies

I sometimes forget about the belly ... and my gawd has it grown in the last week - I finally look pregnant, not like the hamburgular !!! Finally !!
Zoe - glad you are feeling better about the ex .. she sounds like a nasrty bit of work, someone you dont want as a friend ... hope she does her horse business with you and then just fades away into the distance .. how far are you now ?? All well otherwise ?

Meilko - honey, so glad to hear your boys are doing so well .. so very happy for you, your DH and your precious, precious boys ... can't wait to see the next round of photos and hear that that the boys are preparing to go home ... take care sweets :hugs:
 to all you other lovely ladies
AFM - had my midwives appt yesterday .... all well .. HB and my blood pressure great ... my little girl would not it still and was hard to get a constant heartbeat, like you NoahsMum - she kept moving or kicking the doppler .. my precious boy just stayed in the one spot .. I just cant wait to see them in 3 weeks at my next scan .. feelinga bit down, my poor old Granny died on Tuesday .. so now we are back to melbourne next week for her funeral .. she was 86 and getting frail but her death was unexpected .. poor old love ..hope she is now at peace .. and that was my last grandparent  my DH still has one Nan .. I will just have to go to her for Granny hugs
Hope everyone is well .. exciting times ahead on this thread ... hope we start the newborns thread soon so we can all still keep in touch and help each other through the next stage of our parenthood journeys
bubbs - we must have posted at the same time .. great news from your growth scan .. 2.9lbs .. sounds like two healthy boys in there ... you have me even more exciting now, my growth scan is in 3 weeks !! as for social interaction .. yeah ... I am sure you will find something to fill up your day before babies arrive .. and then after they arrive, you wont know what to do with yourself  did you end up reading that book ?
Morning ladies:wave:
Well iv'e just got otta bed.. I was awake from 430 with cramps, I really thought that I could of gone, but no they stayed all over the place then "poof" gone again.. I can dream about going on my own..
5 days, still can't believe it, I just really hope they have a bed for me!!
DH thinks I would of had him by 3pm Tuesday, i'm sure he thinks that they will give me the gell and snap i'm in labor, pain for a few hours then he is just going to fall out... boy he is in for a shock:laughing:
DM- are you all excited like I am??
Jojo- I'm really sorry to hear about dear old Nan, i'm sure she is now at peace.. Just remember they may not be here with us, but there always there to still talk to:hugs: Take care..
bubbs- I bet you can't wait to finish work, I know I couldn't.. Now you can concentrate on getting your licence:laughing: It's great to hear your babies are doing so well.. Do you have a computer at home?? Will I have to keep you updated??
JCR- 18 days isn't long hun... It will be here in no time at all.. It's funny I was walking around this morning wondering how you were and how long you had left..
NM- I pulled a musle in my belly about 20 weeks when I took the horses out.. Just take it easy.. but if you are worried get checked out.
ibb- I think this little man is in for the long haul.. 5 days is soon enough..
Well ladies my house is a disarster zone and I really must go and do some work.. don't wanna leave DH any work to do or he will just stress.. My hands look like little stumps and my feet itch.. but I must move..
till later ladies
Kimmy
Jojo - Yes i did read that book...thanks heaps for sending it through to me...although I know i will be reading it a few more times when am sitting at home as its hard to grasp things...but not solely rely on books as i beleive u gotta do what u gotta do with mothers instincts.
Kimmy - Yes I will have access to net at home...have internet access and laptop so it shouldn't be an issue with updating from me. I'll be still on BH daily but not as often as I am at work. :D
And i'll still be post up ur updates too...can't wait.. I'll be eyeing my phone next week from tuesday onwards every second. :smiliedance:
Jojo - So sorry to hear about ur grandma...my deepest condolences to u and ur family.
Its a tough time for ur family but atleast shes at peace now.
I also only have one grandma left...who isn't doing too well either... :(
:wave:Ladies
I was so tempted to go in and buy castor oil yesterday even though i only have a week at wait:obut then i felt guilty for my bubbas.Just need to cool down and chill out.
Hi Bubbs.....Oh your big boys are doing fantastic:thumbsup:those weights are great keep up the eating hehe. Its good to hear there both still head down,i hope you have a natural birth its a great experiance.Yay only 2 days work left for you,you have done so well working up until 28 weeks.
Hi Kimmy....:smiliedance:Yes im excited but must admit next Friday still seems so far away still,i will be jumping up and down on Wednesday coz im having my stitch out and its only two days until i have them.Im still hoping to go into labour naturally but atleast i have a date if not.Your Dylan sure is teasing you.
Hi Jojo....Awww sorry to hear about your granny:hugs:they sure do leave there mark with us dont they.Hun glad to hear your bubbies are wiggling around and doing well.
Hi NM.....Babe go and have her heart beat checked again best to put your worries aside unlike me hehe.Yes they did say if things get worse they will induce me earlier and if i cant feel my girl move to come have it checked with a CTG.So far so good.
Well better wake up my son he has school:rolleyes:
It's funy as soon as i finished writing i put a ice pack on my belly and it must have woke her up. I do worry alot esp with DS always jumping on me
JCR - Not long to go now YAY... I only put on 15kgs when i had DS and i was all baby i was lucky and walked out of hospy at my pre pregnancy size although i was a few kgs heavier thanks to IVF. Glad i'm not the only one my DS does the same thing
Bubbs - I'm sure your bubs will stay head down i can't imagine they will have much room to turn breeched.. I was the same just before i left work but you know what you will enjoy your time off relaxing getting in extra sleep before the bubba's come, shopping and getting the final things done before they arrive
Jojo - I called them on Monday and the bed should be here next week, it bloody better be or i am giving them a mouthful.. YAY for your belly, i wish i had the same problem my belly is well out there! So sorry to hear about your granny.
I think that's a great idea jojo i hope we create a thread for when our newborns are here i would love to continue our chats once all our babies have arrived.
Right i'm going to paint, i ended up taking DS down to the play centre now he is down for a sleep i can get started

We'll soon have more gorgeous babies in this thread.....exciting times ahead.
Dearmum stay away from the castor oil....like I said it only works if you are actually ready to go into labour anyway and do you really want the hassle of spending hours on the loo :o. Babe make sure you keep a real close eye on your girl between now and next Fri okay.....so excited that you have a date and can't wait to meet your babes.
NM it will be good finding out the date of your c-section, then you can be well organised ahead of time. I hope your tummy has settled and that bubs is making her presence known.
Kimmy woohoo Tues....that will be here before you know it :yelclap:.
Zoe glad to hear you are in a better frame of mind....honestly hon she isn't worth your energy.
JCR you are so close too :smiliedance:. Is it better that bubs doesn't engage with you having a c-section?
Bubbs things sound great with your boys, hopefully at this stage they haven't got much room to change position and you get to have them vaginally.
Jojo :hugs: I am so very sorry to hear about your nan....you take care okay. Glad to hear both your bubs are doing great.
Has anyone else felt nauseous this late in the game? I have felt :barf:the last two days but don't know if it's just from over doing things or not. I had the best sleep last night though so I:smiliedance:think all that hard work paid off.
Hello my fellow Hubbers....!
Pretty tired today so I will try to make this one a quick one...
MM- Not a nice feeliing to be feeling yuck, hope it gets better soon. At least you had a good night sleep, that is a treasured thing these days.....
Kimmy- I know what you mean... You can spend so much time on 'everyday' things like dishes(I dont have a dish washer), washing, vaccuming, ironing, dusting ect ect, and thats without doing all the other stuff that we need to do to make some progress happen.... I feel so tired some days and cant be bothered, but my DH too stresses out when things are not in order, and since he works really hard, I try to pull my weight even when Im not up to it. Sigh. It must be very awkward for you now though. Try not to over do it, but hey, a little harmless work might entice Dylan to come out! Woo hoo not long now.....
Jojo- Sorry to hear you lost your Grandma. Thats very sad. I have 3 Grandparents left, and am very close to the ones on my Mum's side. I would be devestated if they went, so I cant imagine how you must feel. 86 is a good old age, so well done to her.
Bubbs- Nice to hear you and your Dh have some time to yourselves for awhile. Yippy, make the most of it! Your bubba's sound like they are doing well. Great news.
 Hello to everyone else. Everyone sounds like they are going well. NM- I had a similar experience with my Bubba, but he's fine now, sure gave me a fright though....
AFM- Well had my Blood glucose test done monday, was a little nervous how I would go. The results came back today and apparently are very low :yelclap:. I asked the doctor if that was good (thinking too low may be bad) and he said no its fantastic and that I am the lowest he has ever seen. 2 weeks ago, at 24 weeks my fundal height was only measuring 22cm. Today at 26 weeks I am 26cm, so thats also good. So I am a happy camper today. Also had my swine flu vaccine yesterday. My doc said he advised that I do have it. Anyone else had their's?
Hello:wave:
Well another quick one as dinner is just about ready and i only just got home.
We are definately having a little girl!!!
She is 3 pounds at the moment and because my placenta has not moved one mm, she will most likely be born at 37 weeks max by c-section where they estimate she will be 6 pound 8 ounces so a little one at that!
She wouldn't stop moving and is head down and believe me i could feel it last night low in my pelvis. I was wondering if it was too early as she felt really low. Her feet are up under my ribs so getting big kicks now.
We ended up getting fantastic 4d shots again. I will post them tomorrow though as DH took the cd to work and i took the still shots and he left the bloody cd at work!! I am so angry with him:hissy:
Have to have another scan at 36 weeks if i get that far so we will see but i plan to finish working in 4 or so weeks.
Hi Ladies
Guys having one of those days were you feel VERY pregnant,it feels like my babies are putting on a pound today im just so uncomfortable:(laying in bed right now.
Hi Ibb....:yelclap:Your little girl is doing fantastic,oh and you must be happy about having her at 37 weeks, she will be a good weight so dont worry.Cant wait to see her 4D scan shots.
Hi Zoe.....:yelclap:Good on ya for having low GT results means you can eat your heart out hehe.No i didnt want to go down the track of having the swine flu vaccine just incase it has some sort of effects and because im so close to the end i figured it would be really unlucky if i got it now.Im feeling tired too hang in there tommorrow is another day.
Hi Maorimama.....Babe it must be from over doing it go easy ok remember the mess can wait.Haha nah im not going down the track of castor oil i feel to guilty for the twinnies im even feeling bad that they have to come out at 35+ weeks because of me.
Hi NM....Hows the painting going is it all finished up now?
Hi Meliko....Hun how you going? hows the milk nowdays is it getting easier for you?would love some more pics :)
Ladies i was talking to my kids today about the day my babies are coming anyway my youngest DD wants to come and stay with me and my youngest DS said to me oh its my graduation day (year 12) on Friday so that means i have to miss out on his big day:no:i know my DH and DDs will go but i feel kind of sad missing it.I wonder if i can asked to be induced on Saturday instead:p
MM - I can't wait to find out! Yeah i did with DS i was sick for my whole pregnancy.
Zoe - That's great news!
ibb - YAY how exciting not long to go now.
DM - DH is going to do the final coat on the wardrobe doors today when he gets home then all FINISHED! Oh that's a hard one there is no harm in asking.
AFM - 24wks today YAY
Morning Ladies:wave:
DM- I hear you.. I only just out of bed as well, but my hips are just sore now and give me hell if I lay on them, I get chest pains if I lay one side and on my back just doesn't work:ecomcity: BUT with 4 days to go I'm just going suck it up.. (maybe) Even doc told me that I have no room left, i'm like yeah..
Bubbs- Congratulations on making the last day, now time to put you feet up for a little while. (i'm one to talk)
Zoe- yes housework is the root of all evil I believe, with all that needs to be done I have horses that need looking after as well... and another one coming at the end of the month:laughing: I am my worst own problem!!
ibb- I could of never made 36 weeks with my back and hips.. Goodluck.. I wanted 4d scans done but it never happened, I look forward to seeing yours.
mm- yes I went through a stage where I felt sick, still do sometimes must be baby sitting where he shouldn't.
NM- did you get the painting done..
ME- I just feel pregnant, like DM but the poor possum has twins, I don't know how you do it.. Other than that I feel like I did yesterday, tired and sore. I have the kids home today with a student free day so I think I will just potter along... 4 days to go:thumbsup:
Cheers
kimmy
Thank you lovely ladies for your thoughts and wishes ... you're right Zoe .. 86 is a good ole innings and she definitely had a good one ..
BUBBS - :smiliedance: last day of work today, last day of work today ... enjoy and hope you have some rest and baby stuff planned for next week
My3 - how are you hon ? haven't heard from you in a few days .. hoping your maternity leave is going well and you are feeling well
DEARMUM - :yelclap: how exciting, you have a date ! Are you going to ring and see if you can move to the Saturday to be at your DS graduation .. as long as your little girl is still good, what is an extra day
NoahsMUM - how is that little girl of yours ? Moving around like normal again .... congrats on 24 weeks .. wooo hooo .. I am 25 weeks .. we are very close !!
MM - how you doing sweets ? that nausea gone ? Drove past Morayfield the other day and thought of you .. soon to be "neighbour" I sometimes feel squirmish .. usually in the car or any kind of motion - too much rocking on my fit ball or playing in the rocking chairs at the baby shops .. not really frequent enough for me to take it seriously ... it must have been soooo good to have a great nights sleep - I am envious ..
ZOE - excellent news on the glucose results .. and your fundal height ... happy days all round. Nope, not had my swine flu vac, and not going too. spoke to my acupuncturist about it as well and he wasn't a supporter .. I fell OK not having it, now that I have stopped travelling ..
KIMMY - 4 days to go means a baby next week for our thread ... wooo hooo .. that will be our 3rd ... can not wait to hear about successfully delivery of your precious boy .. hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family before bubbs arrives.
IBB - congrats your little girl seems to be going very well .. I agree with with Kimmy ... great job to get to 37 weeks with your hips and back
JCR - countdown for you too - you feeling OK ?
 to everyone else !!
AFM - babies are kicking up a storm at that moment ... as they are moving higher in my belly I am feeling more .. my anterior placenta is blocking the lower kicks, although I can feel the movement but not the distinct BOOT ... but they are both head down and I am certainly feeling the distinct boots up high .. think they moved most of the night .. first time they have ever kept me awake ... mind you, I am not complaining .. loved every minute of it (til this afternoon when I am dead tired )
Hi Girls...
It Friday! :smiliedance:and only 5 working days left for me:smiliedance:! But feel like I want today to be the last day!!! I am feeling very drained and wished I could sleep for an enternity! Like Kimmy and DM my hips and back are killing me also, I feel so huge and uncomfortable...but only 17 days to go, so not long.
Bubbs - Good Luck with your last day of work today.
Jojo- Yep I am o.k, just want the time to go quicker so I can feel normal again, well normal and sleep deprived....LOL. Dont know how you do it with twins on board!
My DS is sick poor little guy, has 39 degree temp and had snotty nose, DH just took him to the DR and they said it is viral infection and will just take its course.....So DH stayed home to look after him, I offered and wanted to, but have so much work to do before next Friday....
Cheers
Kimmy - I only managed to get one coat done while DS was asleep DH is playing golf today and will be home soon so he will do the last coat for me. I can't believe you have 4 days to go, i'm so excited
Jojo - I know i can't believe there is only a week between us! yep she was partying it up big time last night, hmm must have something to do with the diet coke i drank i am so addicted to that stuff right now! I hope you get an early night tonight. When do you finish up at work?
JCR - Poor DS that virus is going around atm my DS had it 2 weeks ago it's not nice seeing them sick like that!
Sorry just need a quick vent, i was chatting in the 'due in feb thread' someone asked a question about circumcision so i briefly explained my experience with DS, i know how controversial this topic is. It only takes one to be very opinionated and all hell breaks loose. Everyone has there own opinion but don't put other's down if they choose to do it.. Sorry it really got me off to a bad start today.

NM parenthood causes alot of controversy fullstop....but I too agree that each to their own, people have no right to put down the choices of others. The decisions we make for our children are ours to make and ours to make alone....there is no right or wrong, just be strong in the choices you make. Hope you are feeling better, try not to let it get to you.
Ibb yay for having a date for your c-section. Don't worry too much about her weight hon, 3 of mine were 6lb, 6lb 4oz and 5lb 5oz and they were all fine.
Zoe great to hear your glucose test was negative. I have opted not to have the vax done.
JCR poor DS, I hope he is feeling lots better real soon. 17 days to go!!!!!
Jojo I am still getting the odd bout of nausea and am finding I can't eat too much atm....tummy is getting too big :o. I can't wait to be back in M/field....really missing the place atm. Oh I think I spoke too soon about the great nights sleep.....I got next to none last night was really restless.
Kimmy 4 days for you....make sure you take things real easy over the weekend and conserve your energy.
Bubbs :smiliedance: your last day of work, you won't know yourself come next week.
M3B how are you going?
Feeling very  today but have a friend coming over for lunch so no nana nap for me. Planning on going to the pools tomorrow....we are expecting temps in the 30's  as if it isn't hot enough already.
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend :flowerz:
Noahs Mum - just ignore those that can't handle an opinion that is different to their own ... that is the beauty of these forums, you can seek the views and reasons from others but at no time should others make you feel bad for your OWN opinion :hugs: ... as for finishing work, not til early December. I work from home, so it is really not a big deal for me to continue working ... I dont have to travel, move or do lifting or anything physical .. and I can take a nap and a break whenever needed .. I am sure I am going to become very uncomfortable with the heat in the coming weeks .. but would rather take my leave after twinnies are born and not before ...
MM - you jinxed yourself ... nice idea on the pools .. we have a pool at home and whenever I get too hot or uncomfortable I go for a float around .. instantly refreshing ... weather here is stunning at the moment ..
Hi Ladies
Still having one of those days :(thought it would be better today but nope.I will remember this "34" weeks.
Hi Jojo....Im seein the doc on Wednesday so im going to ask then but now that im feeling so uncomfortable i wish it was Thursday:p
Haha good to hear bubbies are having a good time, lap it up coz it only gets worse (sorry)
Hi NM.....Yeh i wouldnt care what people think,i have had my boys done for religion reasons around 12 and they handled it really well.It would be good if i can find a doc that can do it when there still babies.:laughing:Sounds like you need to get the whip out.
Hi Kimmy.....:Ddont ya love the last few weeks,if it wasnt for all this pain and worry i would keep mine in until 40 weeks.Your so close now you just need this weekend to go quick LOL
Hi JCR.....Oh not long until you finish up whoohoo then you can enjoy your time at home theres no better place i reckon.Oh your poor DS i hope it leaves him soon.
Hi Bubbs....:smiliedance:Yes your very last day today!
Hmm what will you do with yourself tommorro hehe.
Hi My3boys....Babe all ok your side?
Hi Maorimama....Oh you spoke to soon! i think you will sleep better tonight.
Oh the pools that sounds refreshing....eek do you have bathers? mine dnt even fit me :o
Hi Ladies:wave:
Well I must say "i'm over it" I can't walk away from the toilet without the feeling of embarrassing myself:o I'm getting cramps down my legs and my feet swell as soon as I stand...I just feel like poo!! The joys of pregnancy..
BUT i'm going to brave the supermarket and get something for tea then go to bed for a while I think.
If i don't return have a good weekend..
Cheers
Kimmy
Hi Girls.....
Not on here for long, 'bout to go get dinner. Take-Away Friday, woo hooo. Well I was originaly against having the swine flu vac done. I had to have my 3 gaurdasil injections last year (coz Im under 25) then I found out some women in the US died from it!!! So I decided with the swine flu vac, I wouldn't have it done as I am not 100% sure they have it completly sorted, then I saw my doc and he said it is all ok and perfectly safe. Knowing now that none of you had it done I am deeply wishing my doc hadnt talked me in to it....:crying::crying::hissy: Feeling alittle like I am backed into a corner now......
DM- Hope you can change your date to saturday, if you little girl is ok. Wishing you and your family all the best......
Well i have managed to mow the lawn and wash both cars. Oh and i'm soooo freaking excited! Got a call to say DS bed is being delivered tomorrow YAY so we are moving all his furniture out tomorrow morning ready to paint his feature wall tomorrow he will sleep in bubs room for a couple of nights then hopefully by Monday he is in his big boy bed and i can finally set up bubs room. I'm so excited
MM - It sure does, that's just it everyone is free to make there own choices for there family and they should be put down with the decisions that they make
Jojo - I know how controversail the topic is and i have only ever posted in the designated section. I don't feel bad for the decision i made in getting DS sniped at the end of the day he is my child and i will do as i please, if someone asks about my experience then i will tell them. Other's should keep there opinions to themselves.. Oh your so lucky your job sounds like a dream job. Yeah why not work as long as you can if your at home and can nap when ever you want, that's my kinda job
DM - One of the girls asked so i told her my experience i had DS done at 2wks old, he will never remember it and wasn't in any pain. I copped a mouth full for saying that. I am happy with our decision to have DS done and i won't let anyone make me feel bad about the choice i made. I just really feel for these girls who are interested in getting it done.
Kimmy - Sending you loads of hugs babe
Zoe - One thign when it comes to you and your babe don't let anyone talk you into making decisions your not sure about. just because none of us have had it or going to have it does mean you didn't make the decision that was best for you.
Thanks for listening to me vent before i really appreciate everyone's responses
Hi ladies. Sorry been mia for a couple of days. Been sick as a dog and by the time DS went to bed at 8pm, I also put myself to bed. Still recovering from my cold, which has hit me hard as its the first cold that I’ve had in more than 2 years! I’ve been thinking about you all though whilst coughing and sniffling.
Bubbs: YAY! You are now on mat leave. Enjoy your time off. You will have so much time to yourself that you won’t know what to do LOl!!! I know this is belated, but I was induced with DS. My waters broke and no contractions for over 30 hours so they inserted the drip. My labour was fairly good. Contractions started off slowly and slowly built up. I think my midwife upped the drip very slowly as I was hemoraghing throughout the birth. So unlike others, I did have a slow build up in the contractions and was able to manage them fairly well. The last hour was very intense though, but the whole labour only lasted about 5 hours. I tried the gas, but hated it so didn’t use any drugs throughout the birth. Hopefully things will be just as good this time round (minus the hemoraghing). Great to hear that both bubbas are doing well and that both are head down.
Kimmy: Only a few more days...4??? and you will have Dylan in your arms :smiliedance: I think my bubba is in for the whole 40 weeks so you will pip me to the post! LOL!! Is this your DH’s first bubba? Hahahah he is in for a rude shock if he thinks that labour is that simple!
Dearmum: So glad that you now have an induction date. Only another week to go and you will have the twins in your arms. I am sorry that you will be missing out on you DS' graduation though. :hugs:
Ibb: Hope you aren’t coming down with a cold. Good on you for listening to your body and taking a bit of time off to recover from your aches and pains. Glad to hear that you had some great 4d shots at your scan. Sorry that the placenta hasn’t moved, but at least you have an estimate of the week when you will be having her. Hope she does some serious growing in the next 8 weeks so she can gain as much weight as possible.
Moarimama: Sounds like you have the nesting bug with all the cleaning and house work you are doing. Wish I had that much energy. I just feel drained at the moment with not getting enough sleep and cold to boot. I also had nausea in the last trimester. I found that certain foods (namely sweets) made me feel ill so had to cut them out of my diet. Hopefully your nausea goes away as its not fun to have it in the last trimester.
JCR: Wow can’t believe you are still working! Only 17 more days to go for you. At least you have a date for your C section, I have to wait it out until bubba decides he’s ready to make his entrance! :hugs:though hunn. We are all starting to feel over it! Your poor little boy. My DS is also sick as well. Had a temp that wouldn’t go down a few days ago so doc gave him antibiotics cause she thought he might have a chest infection. Hopefully your little boy gets over his cold soon.
Jojo: great to hear that the twins are doing well and funny about your little girl being so active. I am sorry to hear about your granny :hugs:.
Zoe: Fantastic that you passed the GD test and looks like bubba has caught up with growth!
NM: Sounds like its full steam ahead with the painting and getting bubbas room ready for her arrival. Great to hear that your DS' bed is finally getting delivered! :hugs: darl. My DS isn’t circumcised, but honestly if you choose to then it is your decision and no one has the right to criticise you on it. I just don’t understand why people get so hot under the collar about these things or feel they have the right to belittle others about their choices for their children.
heather: How are you going? Keeping yourself busy whilst on mat leave?
AFM: Like I said I have been hit hard by this cold. If I could have stayed in bed the last couple of days then I would have, but having a toddler who has been out of sorts with his own chest infection and cold meant that his mummy had to be with him. The poor mite. I am still coughing up my lungs, but at least I don't feel like a train wreck anymore. Hopefully it means that I am finally starting to get over it.
I had my Ob appointment today and am happy to report that bubba is now engaged so it means he can come at any time....although I know he is in for the long haul. He's currently weighing at about 2.6 kilos...sorry don't know hte punds and ounces conversion. My next appointment is in 2 weeks.
Oh also i noticed that I am starting to get stretch marks on my belly  I never got them with DS, so am at a loss as to why I am getting them now.
Hope you all have a good weekend. We are having DS' birthday part this weekend. He turned 2 today!!!
My3Boys - happybirthday to ur DS. Am sure he will be one spoilt little boy...and so he should be.
I hope u start to feel b etter with the flu as well...take it easy and get plenty of rest when u can. :hugs:
My3boyz - Hope you start to feel better soon. I can't imagine how sore you must be coughing up your lungs with a bubby growing inside you. Big:hugs:
Glad bubs is engaged though hopefully it stays snuggled for a while longer so you can recover from your cold first.
Happy birthday to your DS, hope he has a funfilled day and can enjoy his party.
We're off to the shops to pick up our final layby which is a load of girls clothes now we have confirmed for sure. So excited, only 8ish weeks to go til we meet her and approx 4 weeks of work left.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to comment the othe day about the circumcision topic. I dont know why some people get so upset about it. I think everyone has the right to do what they feel is best for their child. I had been tossing about whether to have our bubba done or not. I have decided not to, as long as DH can show him how to keep himself in order when he is a litttle older. My DH's first son was left, untill he had a problem with the fore-skin that he couldnt pull it back and it got infected, so he got the snip then. Then DH's son #2 had it done because both parents felt it was not fair to have one boy one way and one the other, and didnt want either of them feeling 'different'. So there certainly are for's and againt's for both situations, but its up to each family to work out what is best for them and their situation. Its nobody elses buisness. I suppose all you can say to those who are very passionate about the subject is; each to their own. People only do what they feel is right.
Anyway, enough bla bla :ecomcity:
M3B- Happy Birthday to your little guy. 2 years old is such a cute and at the same time a challanging age! Enjoy! Hope you recover from your nasty cold soon. I have not had a bad cold for years and years, hope I dont get one now.
Kimmy- Not long now. Is it Thursday? Best wishes with everything, hope to hear from you again before you go to hos'.
Jojo- Nice to have a pool hey. Wish we had one. We only have 3 dams, but in the summer you have to watch for snakes, sometimes they go for a swim, so I dont think I will be doing that...... I have been told its quite uncomfortable being pregnant in the summer, and I already cant stand the heat. A pool would be nice. Maybe I will go and float in the neighbours for a while:laughing:
NM- Fantastic news! So good Ds's bed is finally on its way. What are they going to through in for you for the inconveinience of waiting? Thats what I would be asking!
Well picked up our lay buy the other day of cot and change table. Bought some clothes too when I was there, couldnt resist the little pants and top with a tractor on it! Well, its appropiate for a farm boy. Will be doing some baby shopping with Mum in the next week or so, so that will be exciting.
Hey girls,
Well we picked up our layby and i have started the first of many loads of washing!
We also picked up some 00000 size clothes, gee they are hard to find. We got some hanging toys for the pram and bought this beautiful musical carousel dome which plays Love Story. I always bought my nieces a keepsake when they were born for when they are older and wanted something special for our little girl from her mummy and daddy. I'll post some pics later.
Oh the most embarrassing thing happened to me today though. We had only got to the shops and i was thirsty so asked DH to get me a bottle of water while i went to Medicare. Just as she handed me the slip to sign, i got the worst dizzy spell, grabbed hold of the bench and nearly collapsed. They were all so lovely, they rushed a chair over, a lady stood over me fanning me LOL and 2 customers in the store went to get my hubby and gave me jelly beans!
I was fine no more than 5 minutes later and we shopped for the next 3 hours uneventfully. Can only think i must have been dehydrated.
I feel a bit vulnerable now though, it came on with no warning so quickly. I'm worried if i am out on my own it could happen again or worse if i do have to start driving again (i'm on restrictions but they changed the train timetable so badly i was thinking of getting DH to drive in the morning and leave the car at the station and i would drive myself home in the avo)
Anyway DH having a nap and i'm about to start the 2nd load and have a rest myself.
Hope everyone has had a good day. We have had the most beautiful day today.

Hi Ladies:wave:
Just a quick one from me as I have to go out for a BBQ.. I'm so tired, i'm not sleeping again:sleeping: I think got 3 hours last night, I also promised myself that I would do nothing but relax tomorrow as
I'm getting induced Tuesday!!! (as long as they have a bed for me)
I just wanted to tell you all about yesterday, my best friend threw me a suprise baby shower.. :yelclap: I walked inside her house and burst into tears.. I'm so emotional at the moment. She even bought me a capsule!! I was so spoilt, it was just unbelievable..
I only have a little ironing to do, wash up, vacuum and that will be it for me till I go to hospital.. I said to Troy this morning that it just doesn't seem real, we have waited so long for this, now 2 more sleeps (if I get any)
Well I better go shower, but i'm still so blown away that I had to tell someone:D:laughing:
Cheers
Kimmy
My3 - I hope your feeling better soon! that's the one thing i don't understand we all have our own opinion's on things but there is no need to be nasty about the decisions we choose to make for our children.. YAY for bubs being engaged not long to go now! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DS i hope he had a great day
ibb - YAY sounds like your all sorted now! Yep sounds like you were dehydrated i was the same with DS i always had to have a bottle of water in my bad and some jelly beans! Oh so cute pics
Zoe - re the snip that is exactly right. My DH is done and it was one fo the reasons we had DS done but not the only reason, i did some research and spoke to friends who had and hadn't had it done. I found a few of them had infections and had to have it done later in life, also someone had a accident and had to have it done at 21 the older you get the more painful it is. YAY how exciting have you put your cot together?
Kimmy - YAY one more sleep to go, fingers will be crossed they have a bed for you! Oh that was so sweet of your friends!
Sorry it's a long one from me
AFM - What a weekend i have had i sorted through all of the things i have bought for bubs and gave them all a wash i will wash again before bubs arrives, 4 loads of washing just on baby things and that's not including the clothes i bought! We painted DS bedroom on Saturday his sleep over in bubs room didn't go to well! His bed FINALLY arrived on Sunday DS thought it was great jumping on his bed running from one side to the other.. Finally yesterday afternoon i started getting bubs room ready, bed is up and made, bassinette up and made, change table stocked and ready, toys away, wardrobe all sorted and the fun part putting all bubs clothes away... I told DH i wanted 2 sets of draws tall draws he comes home with small ones 4 draws, i have already filled them with 0000, 000 and some linen there is no room for the other clothes, he didn't believe that i would need the taller draws!
Also some pics DS room

A BIG HELLO TO EVERYONE.
my apologies again for not being here lately my internet is still playing up so i havent been able to get on here.
luckily today it is playing nice for me.
ibb woo hoo 4 weeks of work left for you bet you cant wait. yes prem clothes(00000 and 000000) are hard to find in shops like target and kmart etc. i havent bought any but when we were baby shopping i noticed the 2 shops that had the most range of prem clothes were pumpkin patch and baby bunting.
sorry to hear of your collapsing episode i hope you can keep everything under control to prevent it happening again.
cute 4d pics your little girl looks angry in one of them:laughing: that is so cute.
my3boyz sorry to hear you and your ds have been sick lately i hope you are both starting to recover. great to hear your ob appt went well and leon is head down and engaged. sorry to hear of your stretch marks, i think i get a new one each day i sometimes call myself a zebra:laughing:.
noahsmum 24weeks congrats.
wow you sound like you have been busy mowing lawns, washing cars and all.
noahs room looks good. dh always think they know best and get the wrong thing dont they? i imagine my dh would do similar although he may think about it first and ring me to see if i wanted the small draws. dont they know we have a reason we want the size item we do???
zoe glad to hear your glucose test went well.
gd sucks not being able to eat much else a part from rabbit food.
jojo glad to hear your babies are going well.
so sounds like you have one lazy boy and one active girl, which one takes after you and which one takes after dh?
good luck for your next scan in 3 weeks.
sorry to hear of your granny dieing. 86 is a good age to make.
bubbs glad to hear your growth scan went well and both bubbas are head down.
bet you are so relieved that your inlaws have left and you have a nice peaceful house.
jcr not long for you to meet your little princess now. sorry to hear you cannot get comfy in the bed and have had to sleep on the couch cos your bubba is squashing your lungs.
sorry to hear your ds has been sick.
kimmy great to hear about your surprise baby shower.
all the very best for your induction tomorrow, cant wait to hear of little dylans arrival.
dearmum wow getting induced on friday bet you cant wait.
sorry to hear you will miss your ds graduation.
good luck for your induction friday cant wait to hear of your twin news.
hello to those i have missed, hope you are all well.
afm i am good, tyler is good.
i am so bored at home all the time especially considering my internet is hardly working.
we moved our lounge rooms so that we are now using the one with carpet instead of the one with tiles.(there are 2 living areas in our house)
i sugar soaped the walls in the old lounge room and kitchen and dining on friday. still have to clean the pantry and do skirting boards and windows and doors and give outside a little spruce up before tyler arrives.
my gestational diabetes is going well atm but i so cant wait to eat carbs and sugars. i said as a joke to dh the other day that i am going to write a list of what people have to bring me once tyler arrives if they come to the hospital to visit us hahaha. mmmmmmmm cake, chocolate, icecream, chips oh i could go on and on hahaha.
have my antenatal appt wed which is for student exams so that will be interesting.
has anyone heard any myths about what can send you into labour?
2 i have heard are storms and full moons???
oh and the obvious ones like sex and eating chilli foods etc.
just curious how true these things are or if it is just coincidental.
well if you dont hear from me it is most likely cos my internet is playing up not that tyler has arrived.
i have started counting down his due date in days aswell as weeks now hehehe.
33days to go today woo hoo.
heather

Had breakfast and just sittingon laptop. I plan to g oand shower now and then maybe see if i can do a bit of cleaning in the kitchen. I wanna get my house sorted whilst am at home but also making sure i try to relax as well.
Not much else is happening...just enjoying relaxing but i know i reckon i will get bored pretty quickly...its only my first day so taking it very easy...
Both bubbs are doing well...dancing inside and partying..which is always reassuring.
hello precious ladies ... hope you all had a wonderful weekend ..
heather .. hon, lovely to hear from you .. 33 days to go :smiliedance: .. well .. strangly enough .. I am the slightly crazy personality of my and DH and he is the more relaxed one .. so I suppose it is a accurated reflection on us .. great to hear your GD is under control ... just think how amazing that first pack of tim tams is going to be hmmmm
Kimmy .. take it easy sweets .. never mind about personals ... sure you have a few things on your mind .. pack that bag and then try and rest and keep yourself occupied .. not long to go now .. :yelclap: .. how lovely of your friend to give you a surprise shower .. wishing you an amazing day tomorrow ... (assuming they have a bed for you) :hugs:
DearMum .. no long to go for you now my love .. wooo hooo ... are you feeling well after your relaxing weekend ? I am so excited for you ... whether it is Friday or Ssaturday .. you babies are here in only a matter of days .. can't wait to see piccies and hear the names you have settled on .. is there a chance you will naturally go into labour when the stitch is removed ?
NoahsMum .. oh, DSs room looks great ... how did he go sleeping in it last night .. is he just as happy as with his new bed ? You have had a busy weekend ... getting organised ... I serioulsy need to get sorted ... after the funeral on Wednesday .. and the Christening on Sunday we are home for good - no more trips away .. so I can spend my weekends setting up the nursery, washing clothes and blankets ... when are we going to see photos of bubbas room ?
Zoe .. oh yeah, the pool is going to be a god send in the coming weeks ... plus we are really close to the beach so I have water everywhere ... just to go and sit ..thankfully my normal swimmers still fit .. but I am not sure how much more stretch that material has  so how old are you step sons ?
ibb .. that must have given you quite a scare .. lucky you had some nice people around to make you comfortable ... take care and drink up ... your photos are gorgeous ...
my3 & bubbs  - hope you are both well !
meilko .. are you well precious ??
AFM - nothing to report .. DH and I went to the baby shop again on the weekend .. and said we are NOT leaving without picking out our cot sets and themes .. guess what, we left without picking them out .. we are just hopeless :D we will go back next week and pick, we have now shortlisted so are getting closer ..
Hi Bubbs.....Awww you sound so relaxed :thumbsup:good on ya! this is "your" time now so enjoy it coz once the twinnies come its "there" time:laughing:
Hmmm nervous i am a little only because there is two inside and you just cant predict whats going to happen, but im not one bit nervous about the labour nah done it before im really looking forward to it.I like the idea of knowing what day im having them and being in the hospital right and ready for me drugs:pbabe it will be your turn very soon and i cant wait to see some pics.
Hi Jojo.....:laughing:You guys are so funny, maybe it will come to you soon on what cotts and stuff to buy.YES there is a chance i can go naturally after the stitch is out thats why they try and keep it in for as long as they can.I would just prefere to wait until possibly Saturday and have all my family there waiting for there brother & sister to come.
Gawd guys i hope one thing and that is i can bring bubbies home when i go home.
Heather - It sure was a very busy weekend. DH has never done anything like that before! Oh well he will learn the hard way when she is older we will be buying new ones! Sounds like your nesting, just don't over do it. OMG 33 days to go how exciting not long now.
Kimmy - Aww how sweet of DH. You sound like a busy bee make sure you get plenty of rest in today it will the the last for a long time
DM - PMSL i hope you get your way for Saturday.. Good to hear your resting now, not long to go woo hoo
Bubbs - So far so good we just need to get a night light as we close the door so he can't get out. He loves his bed especially his truck cushion.. Sounds like your getting the hang of maternity leave already
Jojo - No he is different but it was only his first sleep so i'm hoping by the end of the week the novelty wears off.. YAY how exciting starting your nursery, i can't wait to see your colours and theme! Yes you will see photo's but when i am finished i have a few more little things to do and then will post photo's.. You better hurry up and get sorted with the cots you may have a waiting period. Friends of mine have to wait 10-12wks for there furniture to come in
I went and visited a friend this morning who is borring DS walker her DD loved it. Anyways he had a ball playing with my GF DD he wore himself out by the time we got home he was so tired he had some lunch and is sound asleep in his bed, his 1st day time sleep:fingerscrossed: he still does his 2.5-3hrs
bubbs - nice work bubbs, kick back and rest while you can .. as dearmum says .. soon "your" time will no longer exist .. but what an exciting time that will be ... :yelclap: have you got more shopping to do or are you all done now with your gifts from the baby shower
dearmum- ohhh I have been wondering the same thing ... I dont want to leave my babies in the hospital .. I want them to be big enough to come home with me and DH .. any idea what weight they consider OK to go home ? obviously they need to be healthy, but assuming they have no probs, I might ask my OB next time I visit
Noahsmum - oh no, we are not that indecisive  we have the furniture .. just not sorted on colours, linen, themes and all that ...
Jojo - we still have alot of stuff to get like clothes, blankets...all those kinda items. Cots we've ordered a nd are goin gto pick up in Nov...capsule we're going to hire at this stage...so yes i think as we get closer, we'll start gettin g more ready...but still alot to do.
it still doesn't feel real that its happening u know...
ive had a very relaxing day today actually.
Dearmum - I know i want t he same...for my babies to come home with me...i am hoping to take them to 36 weeks...and hopefully by then they'll be at a good weight.
Good question jojo - what weight u reckon we will be able to take them home?
NM - Glad that DS is having a nice nap...good on him. sound slike he had a ball. :yelclap:
Hi again Ladies:wave:
Well i'm still pacing the floor:yes: wondering if tomorrow will come... I was going to ring before I left, but thinking I might just show up as it will be easier to say NO to me over the phone:laughing:..
I went and had a nanna nap earlier, but that didn't work as the phone keep ringing, messages kept coming through..
Now I am just about to do the ironing, then I might do my bag...
Kimm:smiliedance::sunshine:
Kimmy - Hun i just wanted to wish you all the best for tomorrow and I hope that it all goes as per the plan. Little dylan arrives safely and u do a great job in bringing him into this world. Will be keeping my phone next t o me and will be t hinking of you hun. My best wishes are with u and ur family. :smiliedance: :hugs: :cloud9:
:wave:Bubbs & Jojo
Guys im not to sure about there safe weights but when i was googling:p it said if babies get to 5 pounds they have a better chance.Im keen to hear what mine are now coz at 33 weeks they were 4 pounds & 4.12 pounds so im hoping they are both 5 pounds.I love having scans and finding out there weights.
:smiliedance:You go Kimmy....do you have to be admitted the night before? im not sure myself im going to ask on Wednesday.
No DM, I have to be at hospital at 8am if they have a bed for me then it's all systems go:yelclap: if not back home and back another day.. Wednesday is booked out and they still might hold my booking for thursday... if they keep me hanging Dylan will get to big for me and I will end having a c-section:confused: which I do not want..
I have a huge headache now, i'm worried that nothing is going to happen and I get sent home..:crying: I have been cramping for days and uncomfortable, every time I sit on the toilet I get cramp in my bum cheek:laughing: It's just time Dylan is getting bigger and I have no room!!
I will let Bubbs know what is happening as soon as I do.. I still haven't done my bag but the ironing is done..
Thanks for thinking of me ladies, please send me some induction happening vibes!!
Cheers
Kimmy
Kimmy - all the best for tomorrow hon .. sending you induction and enjoyable labour vibes and will be waiting eagerly for Bubbs to share updates .. take care and I hope you and the family have a fabulous day tomorrow meeting Dylan

Kimmy what a lovely friend to throw you a surprise baby shower. I am planning mine for next month...really just an excuse to catchup with all the lovely Perth girls before the xmas rush. Hon all the best welcoming little Dylan into the world tomorrow, hope it all goes smoothly....can't wait to see pics.
Heather 33 days YAY!!. Sounds like you have been very productive with all your cleaning. :laughing:you mentioned the food....we always take an esky into the hospital with us with all the forbidden foods that I can't eat whilst pregnant.
Bubbs it takes a while to wind down when going on leave but this is your time to nurture yourself before your boys arrive.
Jojo we still have a few things we need to get before bubs BIG arrival.....I am hoping we can get a house with a pool when we go back to Brissy....be so much better for the kids and save us heaps of trips to the pools or beach.
NM YAY for DS's bed finally arriving.....I must say his room looks GREAT!!!
M3B you poor thing being sick with a toddler to look after. I hope both you and DS are feeling better soon.
Ibb that must have given you a scare....just take it easy while you are out okay. I love the pics of your baby girl.
Dearmum 4 more sleeps to go oh!!!!!! Do you just turn up to the hospital on Friday morning or do you need to go in the night before?
Well I had more bloods done today to check my iron levels and also had to do my strep b swab....have never had to do that before. :fingerscrossed: both come back normal. The heat over the weekend has really taken it out of me...I think all that energy I had last week was just a tease cause I am feeling really  atm.
ooooo this is exciting, so much is happening!
All the best for tomorrow Kimmy. :babydust2::babydust2: Here's some baby dust for those good vibes! Hope everything goes smoothly and you get in tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing some pic's!
DM- not far for you either! All the best. Hope your twinnies get to 5 pounds. That would be so good for you.
I was going to buy some bottles, even though I intend to breast feed I want some bottles for boiled water and if I need to express, but I have never been so confused! There are natural latex, silicone, cherry teat, orthodontic, steadiflow and all for different age groups! the list goes on and on! Does anyone know the advantages and disadvantages of latex and silicone as well as cherry teat and orthodontic? Which ones are best to use, why would you goe from a normal teat to an orthodontic? Oh dear........
:hugs:JUst a quick one from me, just wanted to wish Kimmy all the best for tomorrow and hopes all goes smoothly which I am sure it will.....I look forward to hearing the news of the arrival of Dylan :smiliedance::hugs::smiliedance:
Just a quick one. Kimmy all the best for tomorrow. Hope they manage to find a bed and you walk out with your little boy. I am so excited for you:smiliedance::goodvibes::sunshine::thumbsup:
HI Ladies,
Kimmy - I hopoe today is it...will be eagerly waiitng for that phone to go toot toot... :D
all the best hun.
Maorimama - Take it easy hun...try to stay indoors if its too hot outside...doesn't help when we're pregnant. House wiht a swimming pool sounds ideal. I want a house with a swimming pool too. :(
Zoe - good question about milk bottles and teats...i wouldn't have a clue myself. I hope some mums here can share their experiences...i'd be keen to know as well.
Dearmum - how are u doing today hun?? excited i bet...well another 3 days to go. :smiliedance: and u get to hold ur twinnies...EXCITING STUFF. Uve done extremely well to come this far...awesum.
Another day at home...i got up with DH today and am online now...DH has gone to work. I plan to get up soon and start some cleaning...surely need to get myself sorted...and don't want to waste my day sitting around watching tele or on net like I did yesterday.
I'll keep you all updated as soon as i hear from Kimmy...:goodvibes: :fingerscrossed:
MM - Glad to hear your test results came back fine.. Make sure you get some rest and keep your fluids up especially in the heat
Zoe - LOL it sure can be confusing i use the Avent bottles with DS and will be using them again this time. If your baby has reflux or colic then Dr brown bottles are the best.
Bubbs - Enjoy these lazy days while you can!
AFM - Not much happening here.. Sunday night was a one off, DS came walking out last night 4 times before he stayed in bed and cried on and off for 25mins before going off to sleep. So off to buy a baby gate for his door way so he can't escape LOL! off to the shops today to take back a few things then to the park with DS to wear him out
Got a text from Kimmy at 7.52am
Well i'm in sitting on the bed :) Wish me luck!
yay...first baby for the thred. i've sent her a text with good vibes and best wishes...
Latest Update from Kimmy at 10.20am
Contractions taking hold now. about 3 minutes apart.

Thinking of u Kimmy...ALL THE BEST HUN!!
:wave:Ladies
:smiliedance:Another day closer for me and my babies:smiliedance:
Getting a bit more excited each day:D
:smiliedance:Whoohooo Kimmy your going good 3mins apart wont be long now.Hmmm i wonder what time they induced her, mine have always been at 9am.
Hi NM....Awww it does take a while for them to adjust keep at it though.Enjoy your day out
Hi Bubbs....Hun thanks for keeping us all updated on Kimmy im not going out until i hear she has had him and everything is ok.
Hi Zoe....Haha yeh i agree theres so many choices out there for teats and bottles going back 12yrs ago with my last bub there was the normal teat and the nuck ones and i found mine loved the nuck ones,i think it boils down to finding one that suits your baby because some babies are fussy.
Hi Maorimama.....Hun glad to hear your tests have come back all looking good, your tiredness is normal remember we aint that young anymore:laughing:ohhh if you can get a home with a pool what a bonus hey.
Well another relaxing day for me im not complaining nope! and then tommorro yay i get my stitch out and who knows what will happen from there.Im also having my scan tommorro im excited.
Hi ladies. Sorry I haven't read through the posts.
Jus wanted to wish kimmy best of luck for today and to wish dearmum all the best for the 23rd.
After saying on Friday that I was feeling better, I took a turn for the worse on Saturday and have been bed bound for the past few days. Have had hardly any sleep and am feeling very miserable at the moment  Will be taking myself off to the docs later. Hopefully she can give me some advice on what to do about my non stop cough and blocked sinuses and how I might be able to get a good nights rest.
Hope you're all doing well. Will be back to post personals once I am feeling better (which hopefully should be in the next day or two :fingerscrossed:).

Zoe when it comes to buying for baby we are spoilt for choice and it makes it all the more confusing for us to decide what product is best. Maybe pop into the bottlefeeding thread and ask the mums there for some advice.
Kimmy woohoo glad to hear that things are progressing nicely for you.....won't be long before you have Dylan in your arms, lucky you!!
Dearmum 3 more sleeps to go oh!!!! but hey whose counting :D.
Bubbs we don't have ceiling fans and the air con is in a position where it has no effect whatsoever so I think it's actually cooler being outside in the shade on hot days. I usually just keep my comp on during the day and pop on every now and then between cleaning and everything else....you'll get yourself into a routine before long, just enjoy a few days down time.
NM we always had the kids in our room until they progressed into BIG kids beds (I know this doesn't suit alot of people) and initially their beds were right bedside ours....made it alot easier for us to get them to settle and within a few nights we were able to move their beds into their own rooms. It may take Noah some time but he will get there .
M3B I am starting to get a bit worried about that cold of yours....I hope the Dr can give you something to help. Take it easy hon :hugs:.
Tick tock tick tock:hair:any more news from Kimmy:laughing:

Heatherm - She looks cranky in most of the piccies because my DH kept poking my belly and looking at the screen to see what she would do!!
I had my ob apmt today. It was so much better. Very relaxed, DH was with me and i wasn't rushed. Maybe he was having a real bad day. We paid the big bill $1250 so now on fortnightly visits.
Anyway as you know placenta has not moved at all so i will be having a ceasar and if all goes well he will try to get me to 37/38 weeks which at the latest would be 17th Dec so i would just be out of hospy in time for a quiet christmas at home.
It was so funny when the midwife was measuring me, 1'm showing 31 weeks but am only 29w5d today, she kicked her!! The midwife was so shocked. She was like " Oh she flicked me" I can't believe it!! It was hilarious. My little girl is already sticking up for herself and not letting people push her around:laughing:
Howdy
My3boys.....:hugs:Hun hope the antibiotics do the trick, your not sounding like your bubbly self so i can imagine how hard it must be dealing with it all.
Hi Ibb....:laughing:Thats cute your little girl has her own mind, they sure do start young hehe.It must feel good having a date to work on,atleast bubba will be here before xmas.
Hi Meliko....:hugs:Babe hows "our" big boys going? miss having you on here.
Well feeling very :sleeping:it will be bath and off to bed soon for me.Wont be able to get on until around 3.30 Perth time tommorro coz have a CTG/scan/docs/and stitch out so thats like a day gone.Hmmm just wonder if they decide to come tommorro. If anything i will txt Maorimama she is my buddy:D
Kimmy Congrats, what wonderful news....sounds like you had quite a quick labour and delivery and all went to plan. :smiliedance::smiliedance::smiliedance:Go Dylan!!!
AFM - Only 3 days of work left for me....And boy am I counting down the hours now, I cant wait to get out of there.......
Have an OB appointment in the morning, guess it would be a quick one and then only 1 more appointment and my little princess will be here.....thinking of asking him if I can go earlier...yeah right wishful thinking from me. I am feeling huge.......and so so uncomfortable, the last weeks suxs. So for the me post, just feeling over it.
DM - Wow your next only 3 more sleeps but good luck tomorrow with everything. Do they have to knock you out to take the stitch out?
My3boyz - Hope you start to feel better soon and good to hear you went to the Dr's and now hopefully on the way to recovery and all ready for bubba arrival.
IBB - Good to hear your OB appointment was more relaxed and you felt a bit better about your OB.
:smiliedance:Congratulations Kimmy and DH!:smiliedance:
Wooo hooo, what great news! Cant wait to hear your birth story, well as soon as you have time of course! All the details, what time you were induced, any pain killers used ect ect....
Well you got your wish so good on you. Glad you were able to get a bed and your little boy is in your arms today! Well done!
DM - DS was really testing my paitence yesterday it took him an hour before he finally fell asleep, normally he is straight down. I think this is going to be a very long week. YAY today your stitch comes out and it's anytime!
My3 - You poor thing i hope your feeling better soon
MM - Yeah i know i was thinking it might take a week or 2 even longer i guess i need to try and be more paitent with him, it's one thing i don't have alot of atm. Hopefully once this baby gate is up and he can't get out things might be easier
Kimmy - Congratuations on the Birth of Dylan, can't wait to see pics!
Ibb - YAY you have a date! how exciting! My bubba did the same thing at my last midwife visit.. It's going to be one special christmas this year.
How exciting 4 little bubba's born and so many more to come in the next few weeks! sorry whinge ahead..... I'm so tired today i didn't get to sleep until midnight i worked last night and my body is paying for it today, i'm going to try and make it until xmas eve but i don't like my chances! I got woken up by DH doing the dishes this mornign at 5.30am which also woke up DS i went and layed with him but that was it he was up trying to get out! I'm so tired and in a cranky mood and now have a headache. Once i drop DS off at preschool i will go and get the baby gate the ones i wanted don't fit in the space so have to get a wooden one boooo.. Oh well if it does the job!
Hi Ladies
:smiliedance:Im getting closer and closer now :Di hardly slept last night but im eager to get to hospital to see my bubbas:smiliedance:
Hi JCR.....Hmmm im not sure whats going to happen i think theres no pain relief or nothing you just go in and they put that thing like they do having a papsmear to snip the stitch:eek:i hope its not painful.Yay only 2 days of work for you now....haha good luck at the docs i hope you get your way hehe.
Hi NM.....Oh yeh i can imagine it not being to easy,i remember doing the same thing with my kids going from baby to big boy beds and must say it took me a good week to get them settled i had to nap with them and slowly leave:rolleyes:
Hope you can have a nap sometime today.
Weres our Jojo?
Thinking of Kimmy and how lucky she is today :cloud9:ohhh i want it to be my turn NOW!
Hi Ladies,
Sorry its taken me ages to post on here...Kimmy sent me a text last night to update but this stupid internet just kept dropping out on me and i gave up in the end...but here is a message from Kimmy:
Sorry taken so long. :) Dylan Troy 7lbs 1oz born at 3.42pm. Came out in a hurry with low heart rate! But his looking good now.
I've text her back giving her all our good wishes...
Meliko - How are Caleb and Xavior doing hun? haven't heard from u for some time...hope they're thriving. :goodvibes:
Dearmum - Goodluck with getting ur stitches removed...U're next in line hun. I bet u cán't wait. I am feeling more and more anxious now too as i feel my time is nearing.
My3boys - Thank god u got some antibiotics...i truely hope it kicks in fast for u..u've had that flu for some time now...its been two weeks since u went on mat leave and from what i remember u've had it since then eh.
NM - take it easy today hun..don't over do it...u need to take care of ur little one inside as well.
JCR - Oh i bet u can't wait to go on maternity leave..its the best. u've done well to go this far with work.
Maorimama - How are u doing hun??
jojo - where r u hun?? hope alls good.
AFM - Doing well...enjoying my time at home.
i am feeling more anxious now and feel my time is surely coming closer...nervous but exciting.
Another update from our new mumma Kimmy:
Hi :) Delivery was normal, had gas and peth, his heart rate dropped and i pushed him out within a minute. I'm still a little spaced out with it all, all happened very quick in the end. Dylan is having his hearing test now.

Bubbs thanks for keeping us updated on Kimmy and Dylan. Glad to hear you are enjoying your time at home. There's not long for a few of us now and like you I too am nervous excited.
M3B glad to hear you went to the Dr's, I hope those antibiotics kick in soon and you are feeling more yourself.
NM it's a novelty for your DS too to be able to get himself up out of bed.....hopefully he'll be adjusted in no time. I hope you manage to get some rest in today.
JCR wow not too much longer for you now and we'll have more babies to add to our growing list. I would ask the OB about going earlier....you don't know if you don't ask.
Ibb having your daughter home in time for xmas will be the best present ever. about your daughter making her presence known with the mw.
I think Jojo may be at her nan's funeral if my memory serves me correctly .
Well insomnia has hit again and I have had little sleep the last two nights.....I give up trying to understand what is going on. I think the closer I get to my due date the more nervous I am becoming....having been induced early 4x I am not sure what to expect this time round as I had it in my mind that this would be like the others, also I really don't want to be in hospital over xmas.....I guess it's all just playing on my mind.
Bubbs - thanks for keeping us updated on Kimmy and Dylan.
DM - When they talk about toddlers in baby books why don't they mention the transition from cot to bed.. i just hope it only lasts a few more days.
MM - Oh that's not good i hope you manage to get a good nights sleep or a nap through the day. I am soooo hoping i don't get insomina this time around, i don't think i could handle 3-4hrs sleep while trying to look after evil kenevil.
Dearmum - How did it go for u today hun??? hope it all went well...how are u feeling??
Getting closer now aren't u?? :yelclap:
:sleeping:Hi ladies
Well what a day went in at 9am came out at 6pm:rolleyes:
Had my CTG first up and all seemed good then had my scan and both bubbies are doing just great:yelclap:my girl is 5.3 pounds and my boy is 6 pounds they seem happy with there weights,i was suprised coz i was expecting them both about 5 pounds. So off i went to the doc and had to remind him i need my stitch out and im being induced on Friday oops he said i better arrange that gawd cant they just read there notes. Then off i went and had me stitches out at 3.30,they told me oh there shouldnt be any pain blah blah but there was i felt everything:eek:they gave me gas but that did nothing but make me drowzy,so things were looking good as though i was going to go into labour there and then but ahhhh it was all just tightening and no pain,so here i am at home finally and very tired from not sleeping well last night.
Well be off now straight to bed for me:wave:
DM - Your bubs are a great size! That's not cool you could feel everything... Have you asked about being induced on saturday?
Dearmum - What a long day for u hun. I hope the tiring day made u have a good nights sleep. So is it all happening for tomorrow?
Ur babies are a great size...wonderful.
:yelclap:
One more day. Be sure to take plenty of sleep today as it might be the last time u have a good rest...for a long time to come. :D
Hi Ladies:D
Im up nice and early hehe wish i could sleep in but with my hypro brain no way.
Had a good sleep though.
Hi NM....I didnt bother asking about inducing on Saturday coz all my family wants them out on friday:pcute hey.How did your boy sleep last night is it getting better for you?
Hi Bubbs....Yep babies are a good size i cant believe it even my little girl aint so bad.How are you doing?enjoying being home?
Hows our other ladies going?
Well the plan for tommorro is i need to call up at 7am to make sure there is a bed ready for me:eek:just like Kimmy had to do,i asume i will be induced around 9am and have my babies by lunch:Di dont want to keep ya all waiting now hehe.Hubby still has to install the baby seats and set up another bassinet so he has his hands full tommorro.Oh i only get to stay in hospital for a day:(how lousy is that,im use to staying in for 5 days.I just pray my babies are sucking and there healthy enough to come on home with me.
Dearmum - Now why do u get to stay in hospital only for a day??? thats a bit bizarre...whats the reason behind that??
Goodluck to DH on getting things sorted out. So ur DH won' t be with u during labour????

Dearmum one more sleep for you!!!! I think it's a bit tough pushing you out after one day.....surely with your GD they will monitor your babies blood sugars for a few days and being 35wkers will want to monitor their temps as well, my DS7 had alot of problems with both in the first few days. Don't let them push you out if you are not ready to go home.
I will be keeping my phone on me all day waiting for your txt, can't wait!!!
NM yeah it is a bit of a struggle only getting a few hours sleep, and broken at that, a night but I just keep reminding myself it will all be worth it in the end.
Bubbs how are things with you and your tummy?
M3B I hope those antibiotics are doing their thing and you are starting to feel human again....hope DS is on the mend also.
Meliko any updates on your gorgeous boys....do you have an idea of when they may be discharged yet?
Well I had the scariest dream last night....I crashed on the delivery table....don't ask why I would dream something like that but I did and it has scared the hell out of me. Dh had to wake me he said it was like I couldn't breathe and was gasping for breath. :fingerscrossed: it is all straight forward at the time.
Hi everyone,
DM- Just wanted to say all the best for tomorrow. I probably wont be on here befor ethen so good luck. Its nice to hear they are doing well and of good size. Wow, this is it for you! Will you miss being pregnant at all? Looking forward to some baby shots! Oh how cute!
Everyone else ok? Who is next after Dearmum? Oh this is exciting.... Hmm not real sure where everyone is at (preggie brain), do we have a roll call here? oh dear, preggie brain indeed, I cant remember!
Well when it comes to bump size and shapes I dont take notice of the old wives tales, everyone is different. But I have been told recently by a few people that I am apparently having a girl. Well, i'm not correcting anyone coz they all think DH and I dont know, but is ther any truth to it? Since several people are saying it, I was wondering is there any truth to the old wives tale? I am told the way I am carrying its a girl. My sonographer said bubba is a boy and she apparently has never been wrong. She even pointed out a scrotum, which to me just looked like a burred grey mess on the screen. Can they really tell what is what on those things? Well after so long wanting a girl, even being a little disappointed when I found bubba is a boy, I felt quite panicy when so many people say its a girl. I dont want to let my boy go now, I have become attached to him.
Hi Bubbs....No hubby will be with me during the births and so will my youngest DD only when im ready to push she will need to leave the room.
The reason behind the hospital only allowing 1 day stays is there the "main" hospital here in perth for births so there is just lack of beds:(its sad coz im use to 5 days in hospital. You only get to stay 2 days if your having a c/s.Crap!
Hubby will just get bubs stuff ready while im sleeping gives him something to do.
Hi Maorimama....Yeh i think my babies will need a few days atleast in hospital for there blood sugars ect,its just not fair we cant stay with them.Im going to see if i can have them transfered to Bentley hospital and stay with them there dont like my chances though.
Hi Zoe...Thanks
I think its My3boys next in line hmmm.
Yeh i cant wait to post pics also:D
Zoe although alot of the old wifes tales might be correct i wouldnt be worried if i was you as those scanning ladies know what they see and in my case its been true each time.Your girl will be next perhaps!
hello lovely ladies
my goodness I have missed you ladies so much over the last couple days.
I have to go through and read what has happened .. but just a couple personals ..
Kimmy - congrats hon on the birth of your precious boy .. :hugs: .. can't wait to see pictures of the proud family !!!
Dearmum - :yelclap: not long to go now .. take care and good luck for tomorrow .. your babies are great weights .. you have grown them very well, you should be very proud !!
hello to everyone else ... will go back and read and do more personals later .. MM was right, I have been down to Melbourne for my Granny's funeral .. very sad, but glad that it is now over and done with ..

Dearmum I can't believe they would make you leave if your babies need a few days in, what if you wanted to breastfeed how are you supposed to get that established while being away from them? All the best for tomorrow hon, I will be eagerly awaiting your txt.
Jojo welcome back....it hasn't been the same here without you.
Zoe I don't hold much truth in what others say about the way we carry although I did have an old chinese lady approach me when I was pg with DD and her granddaughter translated for her that I was having a girl and she was right....what a huge surprise that was as we didn't find out with her. I think it's more obvious for the sonographer to tell when it's a boy.

Thinking of you hun and can't wait to see pics either. yayyyyyyyyyyy
Next in line i think is JCR & then My3boys...
Not too sure whos after them though...
Quiet in here today,
Had a lazy day so far. woke up at 8am, which has been the norm for me the last few months. I fed the horses and came back inside to bed. I just laid (isnt that the chook 'laid' that I just spelt ) there for ages, just enjoying not rushing around and not fretting about what has to be done. I finally fell asleep for an hour, woke up breifly and slept for another hour! I feel so rereshed. Then I woke up and thought 'Oh my God, Dearmum is having ber bubbas today!' Yippy Dearmum!:yelclap: The day has finally arrived. So I had to get on here to see if there was any news, if she got a bed ect...
Well I better get going, I have so much to do and the day is litterally half gone! I will be back later to see how Dearmum is going. Goodluck!:babydust2:

AFM - all good ... babies are moving and shaking ... belly is getting better and the babies are moving north, they have been low but now are higher and pregnant looking ...
Jojo - Am doing well hun...loving mat leave...i could very easily get used to being a house wife actually...Its been a week...time flies i tell ya.
Yup i have that high belly myself too...it'll start to get uncomfortable with them pushing up on ur lungs too as they get bigger...but i can't wait till they actually drop down at aroun dweek 34...breath a little easier.
I've text Kimmy to see how shes going and how long she'll be in hospital...waiting to hear back from her.
I also keep logging on to see if theres any update on Dearmum.
We're all anxious and eager...
Zoe - I have been very lazy today myself and to think I have some ppl over for dinner tonight...oh dear. I just don't know where to start and what to do actually...feeling a bit lazy and tired.
Better get cracking. I tell uhaving internet at home is a godsend but so distracting. :o

Ladies I just heard from Dearmum and she is not being induced today after all.....the stupid Dr said as her cervix is still closed and her babies still young they are going to wait and check her again on Wednesday.....as you can imagine she is very disappointed. She'll fill you in once she gets home I would imagine.
Maorimama - Thanks for the update. Poor Dearmum. What disappointment.
How many weeks was she again??? (sorry baby brain here)
maorimama
23-10-2009, 14:12
She will be 36wks on Monday so I would think her babies would be okay being born today
Maorimama- Thanks for the update on Dearmum. I was so hoping to find some exciting news when I got on here! Poor Dearmum, she must be feeling really disappointed at the moment. 35 weeks is a good time for twinnies, isnt it? Whats wrong with that quack?
Dearmum- When you get this I hope you are feeling better about it all. I am sure you were very excited. Well, I suppose there is a reason for it, prehaps it was not meant to be today, prehaps for a number of reasons. It will all turn out for the best.:hugs:Here's hoping Wednesday is the day for you and DH:flowerz:
Bubbs- Yeah I know the feeling.... But I have decided not to be too hard on myself. After all, I dont have many days like this, and I am pregnant! We should not be to hard on ourselves.....:D Hope all goes well with your guests tonight.
Jojo- Hello! Did wonder where you had got to! How far are you now? Are you getting uncomfortable?
Hi to ibb, Meliko, Kimmy, M3b Hope you are all doing well (and anyone else I have missed, I am so sorry!) Hope to here from Meliko and Kimmy soon.....
Well I was just in the supermarket getting some shaved ham for a sandwhich at the deli. My FS told me not to eat anything from the deli, but I was so hanging for a sandwhich that I thought if I got the ham and fried it, that would kill any bacteria, wouldnt it? Anyway a lady at the deli asked me how far I had to go, then she started on about her kids, so I thought I would take the oppotunity to ask another mum what she thought on the subject. She said 10 years ago when she had her last, she had never heard of not eating this and not eating that. Then the other 2 ladies jumped in on the conversation! They all basiclly said dont wrap yourself in cotton wool, and it would be fine to eat the ham.
DH and I are out and about alot, and when you are out you need to eat! Well my FS told me not to eat anything from a deli or a bain-marie, no salad at a resturant, no food unless it was piping hot or cold, no pre-prapared foods, such as sandwhichs ect ect. This makes it very hard to eat anything when you are out and about. And the FS had me so nervous to eat anything, I think the stress is worse than the food! Anyway, my mum and DH have been telling me the same thing as those other ladies. I didnt really listen to mum coz she sometimes throws caution to the wind, and I didnt really listen to DH coz he's not a woman and he's not pregnant! But it really helped to hear it from those 3 ladies, so today I enjoyed my first ham and salad sandwhich is 6 months, and is was absalutely beautiful!:D
:gloomy:Hi Ladies
That icon is really is how i feel today,i was so ready for my babies woke up at 5.30am rang in for my bed at 6.30 rushed my hubby and my DD to get in time to be told "oh your babies seem to be doing good now and i would prefere you have them in a week or two":confused:all i could say coz i was shocked was "no way im having them today" so he said well lets see after a CTG and a VG exam so there i was angry as and hoping something wouldnt look good on the ctg, after all that i had a VG exam and the midwife said my cervix is still closed and needs ripening WHAT! im P***D off coz why the hell didnt they check all that stuff when i was there on Wednedsay:hair:and to top it off the one that booked me in to be induced wasnt even working today.
Now im told to come in again on Wednesday to have my cervix checked and go from there.
I told the doc its not fair my hubby and all my family took the day off work today but all he could say was sorry and next time they induce me they can make it for the weekend but next weekend is my oldest boys birthday:crying:i cant have these twinnies on his birthday im just so disapointed i want to cry right now but i have my hubby around so i cant.
I told the doc why dont you use the gel that opens the cervix but he turned around and said he wouldnt feel good about doing it because my babies are still premmies and may need to spend time in special care.I understand how he feels but what about how i feel:crying:
Sorry just cant get over what has happened!
hi ladies:wave:
i'm home:yelclap:
I will fill you in as soon as my house empties:sleeping:
bubbs- i replied to you with photos!!
all photos to come.
DM- i'm sorry that today wasn't the day:hugs:
till later
kimmy
 ladies. I am finally feeling more like normal. Not 100% yet, but I am getting there. I haven't been back to read all the previous posts yet so this will be a shortish post from me.
Kimmy: So nice to hear from you. Glad that you and Dylan are home now. Not sure if you have put up photos or not yet, but will check previous posts to see.
dearmum: :hugs: how frustrating to be expecting to be induced today only to be told you have to wait another week or two! And then to have to have a V exam and all that ripening cervix stuff. Sheeshh the hospital and docs sound like they need to get their act together. Hopefully when you go in on Monday you will be given a more definate induction date.
bubbs: hmmm sounds like you really are enjoying your time off. I found when I went on mat leave the first time that I was bored stiff. I just never had the cleaning bug and just remember thinking how boring day time TV was! Now I don't have time to even relax with a toddler to run around after! Enjoy yourself and relax as much as possible as when the twins come you will have your hands full
jojo: good to hear that the twins are doing well. You must be getting so uncomfortable with 2 growing bubbies in there. You must also be loving not having to travel anymore.
moarimama: Hi darl....not sure how things are going with you but just wanted to say
Zoe: I have been avoiding deli meats this whole pregnancy, but if you do buy ham and fry it I am sure it is OK. I had a friend who craved ham her whole first pregnancy and ate it the whole time...never got sick and bubba came out all fine as well. I gues it is more of a precaution and up to the individual as to if they will eat it or not IYKWIM.
Hello to all the other lovely ladies here. Hopefully I will be on more often now that I don't feel like total crap.
AFM: Feeling much better after the antibiotics have kicked in. Now just have to deal with my stuffy nose....makes me feel like I am suffocating when lying down. Hopefully I will be over this cold/flu in another few days. I tell you, my belly has dropped so much that I feel really uncomfortable when I sit down or get up. There is a lot of pressure there. I always thought I would carry Leon to 40 weeks, but I am not so sure now with how low he is sitting. Plus he is engaged as well. Hopefully I can hold out for another couple of weeks. I still want to spend some quality time with DS before Leon arrives. We haven't had a chance to do much as we've been sick the last 2 weeks :(
Kimmy - Welcome home with little Dylan. :yelclap:
I didn't get any pics???
Infact no text from u today at all...i wonder why that is...
Dearmum - So sorry to hear what u have been through today hun...but see the positive side of it...ur bubbies want to come out when they're ready so that u can take them home with u. Take it easy sweetheart. I know its disheartening but pls take it easy. :hugs:
My obs said that she wanted my babies to stay inside past 35 weeks as thats when their lungs mature. She said that from 36 weeks onwards shes happy for them to come out anytime but of course even then she rather they stay in there till 37...and at 38 they induce me. AM sure whatever decision they've made, its for the best of u and ur bubbas...but yes they should have been more attentive when you went there on Wednesday and not given u false hopes. Thinking of u hun.
my3boys - glad to hear that u're feeling better...those meds have surely kicked in. thats great.
I know how u must be feeling with wanting to wait a little longer so u can spend quality time with DS...take it easy.
Zoe - I tell u what...i believe that eat anything that u know is not gong to cause u harm and stay away from listeria prone stuff...but i feel that the more one restricts themselves, the more it affects the babies afterwards...i believe the more u expose ur babies to whatever u eat, the better.
My DH kept saying we shouldn't be eating out and u shouldn't beeating this or that or stay away from MSG...i was like no...am going to eat everything except for the things that i am aware of because end of the day...our mums ate it all and we turned out fine...shut him up.
Thats my belief anyway.
I stayed away from soft serve, soft cheeses, i don't eat fish as am veg but yes other then that pretty much ate it all and yes i did limit my caffiene intake but started it after 4 months into pregnancy.
maorimama
23-10-2009, 18:10
Zoe tbh with my first 4 pregnancies I ate anything and everything....my dad is a diver and I craved seafood BIG time and ate it if it was caught that day. I have been pretty much the same this time round....if I buy ham I ask for it to be sliced then and there so I know it's fresh, the only thing I have really stared clear from is soft cheeses which I LOVE and am missing.
M3B so good to hear that you are well on the mend. Ooh with Leon being engaged you may go early as they say they don't normally engage in subsequent pregnancies until they are ready. Exciting times ahead for you soon.
Kimmy welcome home to you and Dylan....can't wait to hear about it and see some pics.
Dearmum thinking of you hon :hugs:.
This is a little tmi - but I have had a wetness in my undies for the last few days....have been using liners....and am not too sure what to make of it. It's definitely not a discharge as such as with thrush etc, it's more clear and I don't know whether it's a slight incontinent thing happening or if maybe my forewaters are leaking slightly.....any thoughts?
Hi girls just a quick one as I am my iPhone...
DM sorry to hear they put off your induction, you must be p***Ed off with the Drs and now they are making you wait another week....,
Kimmy - welcome home may you first night be a good one, you are out of hospital quickly, I wil be staying in for a minimum of 4 to 5 nights...
AFM I finished work today and
now offically on maternity leave yey!!! I say....
:wave:Ladies
Thanks for all your support.
As much as im disapointed im getting over it thinking maybe it just wasnt meant to happen maybe they were meant to be born at 36 weeks or whatever. My babies are putting on a average of half a pound a week so they will be born quite big if they go until 38 weeks.
Now back to being scared of going natural but hey what will be will be i guess.
Hi JCR....:yelclap:Babe enjoy the leasure of being home, theres no were else better i reckon.
Hi Maorimama.....HUN i would be concerned and just go in to have yourself checked because at this late stage thats what it could be.I have been weeing on myself:laughing:for ages now and thats never happened with my other pregnancies i think im getting weak down there.
Hi Bubbs....Yeh i realise my twinnies are better off in me still im just disapointed they set me up to go and changed there minds at the last minute, and although they can still stay in what about my stress of what if something goes wrong while there in what will the docs say then.To me i was shy of 36 weeks by just 3 days and my babies are great weights why put the extra stress on me,thats why the other doc organised it but she wasnt working today otherwise i think it would have gone ahead. Its ok though i need to think positive but i tell ya after losing a bub its hard.
Hi My3boys.....Oh good to hear those antibiotics are doing there trick, bubba needs his mumma healthy when he comes.Oh you may end up having Leon before me yet hehe.
Hi Kimmy....Babe glad your home and happy cant wait to see some pics of your cute little Dylan.
Hi Zoe....Hun i have always eaten whatever i felt like and my babies have turned out ok,i think just stay away from something that looks like it may have been there to long.
Hi To our other lovely ladies:wave:
Gawd had a bad night last night i got a phone call from my DD that her dog and my DS dog that i normally look after was shaking so bad so i said come over here anyway as soon as i seen them i knew they had eaten poison the poor dogs were shaking like hell and dribbling and this all happen around 10pm all i could think of was S**T there going to die i rang so many vets and they were closed so finally we found a hospital but the costs were crazy they were charging $168 just to look:eek:anyway my DD took them and there both doing ok now but she was charged $900 just for her dog,and my sons dog was free because the owner wasnt there. But yeh had all these troubles its not be a good few days.
Hi girls,
Well it's late but i finally got on here, DH is out putting the garbage out.
DM - I am so sorry today wasn't the day for you. I would be so disappointed and upset as well but yes try to think positive. They will be a brilliant size for twinnies, less time in neonatal if any needed and have their sucking reflexes downpat. Your little girl seems to be improving as well.
As for eating foods, i was really careful in the first 3 months but after that i have eaten what i think is safe. I don't go overboard. My older neighbours with kids 10+ years all say the same thing, they never had such restrictions with food so i tend to think sometimes people can go overboard. I don't have soft serve (missing it heaps) or soft cheeses and don't eat meat except chicken and fish so just feel sensible eating is the way to go. I did not cut my tea or chocolate out but have to limit softdrink due to reflux.
I really jumped on here to see what happened with DM. I can't really access internet at work as our servers can't handle it and they are cracking down but i get the updates emailed to me so get to keep up to date a fair bit that way.
Getting hair coloured tomorrow and cut, last time before bubs is here and just in time to look beautiful for my babyshower next weekend:D
Off to bed now, bubs been kicking all day. Will get on here properly on Sunday. Have a good weekend xo
DYLAN TROY HAS ARRIVED ON 20th OCTOBER AT ABOUT 3.45PM.
"So cute. Photo to come :)
Still not weighed yet but both Kimmy and Dylan are fine!!! "
So finally our first baby for this thread. Am just waiting for the stats from Kimmy, shes still unsure as looks like both mum and bub are spending quality time together.
:smiliedance: :yelclap: :smiliedance:
1st baby for this thread?!?! What the hell were mine?! Dont you mean the 4th?!
CONGRATULATIONS TO KIMMY, DH AND THEIR FAMILY ON THE ARRIVAL OF DYLAN!!!!!
Fantastic to have yet another arrival in this thread to add to Xavior and Caleb and Bailey !!
Now we just have to wait to hear from dearmum in another few days.
Thank you sweetie for remembering that I had my babies, I don't know if I'm just emotional or not but I cried my eye's out when bub's said "our first baby to the thread" I am not coping very well with bailey's death tho....
Congrats Kimmy honey!
Dearmum, I was thinking about you all day sweetie! How upsetting for you. Thinking of you.
:wave:Meliko
:hugs:Hun i think bubb wasnt thinking right when she made those comments,im sure they would have upset you though:hugs:
After having a still born just last year myself i know it takes months and sometimes years to get over what has happened,i still blame my doctor because if he had kept a good eye on me that wouldnt have happened. Its very hard when people ask me how many kids i have i say 5 because he was real and i gave birth to him how could i just forget him.We cant change whats happened but we can never forget hey.:hugs:
Hows Xaviour & Caleb doing? Hows there weights now? just last week mine were 5.3 pounds & 6 pounds very impressed!
Your boys are now almost 35 weeks do you think by 36 weeks they will let them go home with you?
Aw Meliko sweety, don't be too upset, i'm sure it was a slip up from Bubs. Preggo brain can do that.:hugs:
Hope your boys are doing well and can come home soon. I hope you are seeing/talking to someone to help you deal with Bailey's death. I lost my 2 youngest nieces last year and its good to talk about them and let people know you want to talk about them and not pretend they didn't exist.
DM - Hope you are feeling a little better about whats happened.
My3boyz - Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Keep resting. Not long to go now.
Kimmy - Hope you and Dylan are getting to know each other and he's settling in.
Got my hair done today, no more greys, cut quite short, probably last time til bubs comes now. Had some friends over for a cuppa which was nice. DH spent all day cleaning the backyard up incase it rains next week. Babyshower is in a park but if it rains, its at my house. Cross fingers. Our oven went on the blink so waiting to get hold of an electrician who can fix it. Hope it's done for the weekend otherwise we have to use our tiny portable one to do all the food:eek:
Have you girls started thinking about packing a bag yet? My friend said something to me today. I have no idea what i will need and due to my placenta praevia am thinking maybe i should start getting one ready in case i have her early??
Well i hope you are all well.
:wave:Ladies
Gawd its a crazy 11.51 and here i am posting haha, anyway just want you guys to know i have taken castor oil:pand Evening primrose so will see what happens over night but getting a feeling nothing will work.I had taken castor oil at 6pm and thought something would have happened by now but nothing not even the runs:laughing:time will tell.
Ok off to bed now:wave:
Sorry for the late notice to you girls i have been out and about today..
I have some very exciting news!
I received this message around 9.45am from My3boyz
Baby Leon was accidently home birthed to a shocked mum and dad on 25th October at 7.05am. Leon weighs 2.64kgs length 48cm. Mum and Bub are doing well
Congratulations My3boys on the birth of baby Leon glad to hear your both well looking forward to seeing pics.
:smiliedance:Congratulations My3boys & DH :smiliedance:
Welcome to the world :hugs:baby Leon!!
OMG what a suprise to have had him at home....i bet your all on :cloud9:enjoy enjoy is all i can say:)
OMG, What a massive surprise! Congrats to you My3boyz and your DH on the quick arrival of Leon. :yelclap::smiliedance:You pipped DM to the post! Rest up and i can't wait to see the piccies.
Meliko - I AM SO SO SO Sorry to have offended you but it was unintentional. It had totally slipped my preggo brain. :hugs:
Caleb, Xavior & Bailey mean the world to all of us ladies here as much as Dylan & now Leon who is also born. We all know how hard we have tried to get where we are today and i didn't mean to say "first baby". I wasn't obviously thinking straight.
Please don't take this personally Mel...Ur boys are equally precious. All these babies mean the world to all of us because we all know what a tough road we've all been through to have these babies in our arms today...and again I am deeply sorry about Bailey. I cán't even imagine what you must be feeling...
I am deeply sorry. :hugs:
Congratulations My3boys - what a surprise home birth. I am glad to hear both mum and bub are doing well. :smiliedance:
OMG goodness my3boyz - a home birth what a surprise, Sounds like it all went perfectly....CONGRATS. :smiliedance:. Are you in Hospy now?
AFM - getting more and more uncomfortable by the day, but only 8 days to go now, I think they will be the slowest 8 days.....I am getting some saverage BH's though which kinda scares me a little, dont want to end up like my3boyz. Have an OB appointment on Wednesday (last one before bubba arrives).
Kimmy - how is Dylan going now you are at home?
Hi to everyone else....
First day of Mat Leave tomorrow :smiliedance::smiliedance::smiliedance: hopefully a sleep in for me.

hi ladies,
dearmum i am sorry to hear you are still waiting for your babies to arrive as your midwives/doctors stuffed you about but it is good that they get to grow a little longer.

sorry to hear about the dogs i hope they are on the mend now.
my3boyz a HUGE congratulations:party: to you, dh and ds1 on little leons arrival:baby:.
i hope you are all doing well. it must of been such a shock:eek: having an unplanned homebirth and maybe a little scarey at the same time.

My3boyz congratulations on the safe arrival of Leon
:cloud9::cloud9:
What a surprise that must of been....I was wondering if you would make it to your date.
Can't wait to see some pics.
I wonder who will go next....JCR or Dearmum
Hey Girls i had been feeling a bit down lately so took a little break from here, I'm getting there now this transition has been getting to me after a few days of trying one thing it just wasn't for me it was getting me down i was crying and loosing paitence so after speaking to tresillian they suggested something else which i am trying and seems to be working so starting to feel better.
I was so surprised by My3boys message i had to read it 3 times i couldn't believe who it was from and what happened.. I'm sure she was alot more surprised then i was.
Zoe - As for ham, i buy packet ham eat it the day i open it and have a toasted sandwich the next day after that i don't eat it.. I also eat reheated food i just make sure it's hot hot but i let it cool down a tad before i eat it. Just stay away from the big no no's, soft serve, soft cheeses etc...
DM - Sorry to hear you didn't end up getting induced.
Ibb - I still have ages to go but i normally start packing my bag around 35wks i will still be wearing alot fo the clothes i plan on taking to hospital so need to make sure my washing is up to date in the lead up. I found 3 grey hairs yesterday my first ones i still can't believe it, i just had my hair done as well
AFM - DS has his good and bad days of going to sleep through the day and of a night i'm sticking in there and sticking to a routine so hopefully he will start to understand soon. Some days it takes 5mins for him to go to sleep or it can take 30mins-1hr we are getting there! Some days he has his usual 3hrs others its 1-2hrs then i'm stuck with a cranky boy in the late afternoon, the down side is i no longer can have my nap through the day oh well, it sure is amazing how you function on lack of sleep... I'm sure i won't be thinking the same thing when i am being woken every 2-3hrs with a newborn
Morning Ladies
Another day pregnant:hair::laughing:gawd it feels like its never going to end for me.
Everyone is having there babies before me
Ok the race is on between JCR and me LOL.
Hi NM.....:hugs:Awww dont worry your allowed to have your good and bad days "thats life"
Im sure it wont be much longer and your DS will settle down, its challenging but you will get there.
Hi Heather......Oh how cute you have bought bubbie a xmas pressie already.Well you sound nice and ready just like me hehe.
Hi Maorimama.....:laughing:I reckon JCR will go first my babies never like coming out.
Hi JCR....:yelclap:Wooohoooo your first day at home ahhhh how does it feel? Yeh i have my doc appt on Wednesday also i will be thinking of you that day hehe.
Hi Bubs....:hugs:Awww i nearly cried reading your post to Meliko....i know you wouldnt have meant it,it was just a slip up.
How are you going? enjoying your holidays?
Morning Girls...
Yes first day of Mat Leave  but have to say I feel ordinary today feel :barf:in the tummy...and being uncomfortable on top of that doesnt help. I got a small sleep in, DH took DS to daycare and pretended to him I had gone to work with was lovely of him, we are trying to keep his rotinue as normal as possible, but when he realises I am home full time I tihnk thats when the fun will start....
I think you will go first DM although I am so ready to get this bubba out, tried to get my OB to do it tomorrow and he said no another week would be fine....:(!
But only 7 days to go, yey! My mum arrives on Sunday for 2 weeks to help out, she lives in QLD and I live in Sydney, I look for to her cooking (as will my hubby) have to say my cooking skills have not been the best lately as I am so not hungry as it makes me feel like pooh and then I get heartburn....
NM - Cheer up, we are here for you and I feel you feelings pain....I am wondering at the moment how am I going to cope with 2 and the sleeplessnights again ......DS was such a good baby and I am worried this one will be the total opposite...
Meliko - How are your boys? are they home yet?
Kimmy and My3boyz- Hope you are both o.k and recovering from the birth o.k.......Photos girls....
Back later got a few jobs to do around the house.....cant sit on here all day, DH will go mad at me.
JCR - Wow 7 more days to go...that'll come around quick.
Its nice relaxing at home and taking things at our own pace...am enjoying my mat leave too...todays been a lazy day for me...got up at 10am. Planning to iron DH's clothes...makes it easier on him.
I am also wondering how i am going to cope with two new borns...its starting to make me nervous.
Dearmum - Am doing good love...forget me...how are u?? I hope u get some answers on wednesday about ur scheduled date...how are u feeling otherwise? I guess castor oil didn't do the trick for u??
NM - Take it easy sweety...:hugs:
My3boys - I hope u're doing well...can't wait to see pics of Leon.
Kimmy - I still haven't got those pics of Dylan...looking forward to seeing him.
AFM - Am 30 weeks this week...where has time gone, i just can't believe it. Another 6/7 or so weeks to go...my goodness. Its flying.
Feeling fine...getting up alot at night though for the loo but i guess its bound to happen. Glad i don't have to get up for work anymore.
Hope u're all doing well. :hugs:
Ooh Bubs - It's going to be a race between you and me. They are saying 17th Dec latest for my c-sect if i don't have complications earlier. I still have another 4 weeks inc this one of work left. Can you believe we will no longer just be a couple in 6-7 weeks time. DH and I were eating dinner last night and just saying, we're going to have our lives turned upside down. No more spur of the moment breakfast outings, etc everything has to be planned. It's a bit scary.
We're not going anywhere for xmas, people are coming to us but friends are talking about us going over their place for new years saying its easy to cart a baby round when they're born. Hmmn i don't know...
I think i overdid it on the weekend. I was in such pain last night, had a warm bath and DH gave me a massage but it did nothing. Was in pain all night so took today off and went to the physio for a good rubdown. Feeling less stiff now.
This weather is awful, have been sleeping on and off all day. Just makes me feel soooo tired.
Anyway just hoping this rain goes away soon. My shower is Sunday and its in a park otherwise its at my house. 30 women and 12 kids inside makes me very stressed out considering my house is not childproof yet.
Ibb - Wow it surely is going to be a race. I know i just can't believe how fast time is nearing...it'll get so busy...but am really looking forward to it.
We've got friends organising something for NYE too but theres no way amgoing with my two little ones...na. Going to enjoy my time at home.
I have my baby shower again on sunday as well...the great thing is that its at my sisters place so am really looking forward to it...dont have to worry about cleaning up and what not.
THe other shower that my Sis in law organised for me was at our house...never again i say. I hate surprises...but atleast this one am aware of what is happening...makes me feel more comfortable.
I hope the weather is nice for u to have it at a park...so much more easier.
Its pretty cold here in sydney and raining...i hope it clears up this weather. :rain:
I luv :sunshine:

My3boyz- Congratulations on the birth of Leon!! I can't wait for details (even though I haven't gone back myself yet)

more will come, his a little jaundice at the moment so I can't wait for that to go!!
Cheers
Kimmy
Kimmy - Dylan is just gorgeous! He has a nice head of hair. How is he settling in at home?
bubbs - I'm sure you will enjoy yourself alot more at this baby shower since it's not at your place. I hope this nasty weather clears for Sunday.. 30wks gee it sure has flown your on the final stretch now.
Ibb - I hope this weather clears up for you for your baby shower this weekend. Does a warm bath ever help with your pain?
JCR - YAY 7 more sleeps to go, how exciting your mum is coming down, it will make life alot easier. I know i have the same concerns how am i going to function through the day, look after 2 kids and pay DS all the attention that he needs, I struggled with DS and slept every time he did, don't think that's going to happen this time. DS was a bugger for the 1st 10wks until i started him on solids and he started sleeping through.
Kimmy - Dylan is just gorgeous. How adorable. Sleeping so sweetly. :cloud9:
Hope the jaundice goes away soon. Is there anything u need to do from ur end for the jaundice???
Oh Kimmy....:DDlyan is a cutie,so peaceful sleeping looks like daddies a bit tired:laughing:
All the best with him,he must be a dream come true for you guys.
Hi Bubbs....:laughing:Yeh the dam castor oil didnt work even after trying it twice gawd! have been using primrose oil tablets to soften the cervix but not sure if thats even working, even been on long walks and still nothing LOL.Im doing ok though figured i will push to have them on Sunday if i can.Im 36 weeks today.
Gawd your 30 weeks babe congrats your just cruising along nicely.I know how you feel about having some nerves on how to handle two coz thats how im feeling, just stressing how im going to feed them both at the same time ect.We will get there though things will come natural.
Hi JCR....Haha like how you tried your luck getting buba out earlier, ohhh just think you have seven days to get the last minute things done, hehe wish i could think like that.Bet your looking forward to having your mum come thats going to be a heap easier on you guys.
Hi IBB....Yep it will be all about bubba in 6/7 weeks, but you will both be so happy that you wont even miss your old life.Everyone is coming to the end now so quick, its a good thing though coz these last few weeks really are the WORST!
Hi Meliko....Babe would love some more pics!
Well guys did i tell ya all....i was looking over the calendar yesterday and all of my babies were born on a Tuesday:eek:how strange is that!
Dont think these bubbas will come tommorro though there to comfortable in there.
:wave:Morning Ladies

Looks like a day at home for me i can hardly walk its that bad.

Hiya Ladies,
Kimmy Dylan is so so adorable and I must say I love his gorgeous hair. Hope you are both settling in well.
M3B how are things with you and Leon....I am still very surprised by how fast he came...so unexpected but then in some ways not with the way you were feeling. Can't wait for an update.
Bubbs 30wks sure has come round fast. I am 32wks this week but as with Dearmum I reckon that both you and IBB will go before me. Ooh enjoy getting spoilt again this weekend.
JCR I hope these next few days fly by for you....nothing worse than the final waiting...ask Dearmum :D.
Dearmum I see you are still hanging in there...poor love. Just think how ready your bubs will be though when they do grace you with their presence.....you should be able to take them home with you.
Ibb it won't take you long to get into a routine....just do what works for you. We too are planning a quiet xmas, especially as I may be spending it in hospital.
NM I hope it doesn't take Noah much longer to settle into his BIG boy bed. How is work going for you?
Jojo all the travelling sure takes it out of you doesn't it? Hopefully now you will get the chance to take a breather and relax some.
Nothing new to report here....just plodding along.
Hi Beautiful Ladies
Dearmum - Still hanging in there hun i see?? Not long to go now...hopefully this is the week for u...:fingerscrossed:
Yes am sure we'll cope well..play it by ear once they come and grace us with their presense. Goodluck with ur appointment tomorrow
Kimmy - U must be so proud of dylan. I agree he has such gorgeous hair...has cute little button nose too.
Jojo - Yup that back pain is terrible...but i have noticed it has gone less for me. I am starting to get pains in my ribs now. I think bubbs are sitting right up near my ribs and kicking away.
Try to take it really easy now...i bet u can't wait for ur growth scan...:yelclap:
Heather - Goodluck with ur appointment tomorrow hun.
NM - How are u going hun???
Maorimama - Ohhh..u never know...we could go all at the same time...imagine that.
Lets see eh.
AFM - Am doing ok...i think bub B (right side) is sitting right up near my right ribs or his feet are there as i can feel pain there and strong kicks...
I just sneezed out of no where and now my tummy has started hurting after sneezing. I think i'll go lye down for a little while. :(
I just felt my tummy was about to burst.
Not much else to report.
my cousin gave birth to her baby boy last night in NZ...She ended up having a c section...i wanna hear her birth story but don't want to disturb her right now so will wait.
I wanna hear everyones birth stories...
Afternoon ladies. Just want to thank Noah’s Mum for relaying my messages and to thank everyone for their well wishes. Both Leon and I came home yesterday after being given the all clear by docs. Will have to get DH to download pictures from his camera so I can upload them.
Meliko: I hope you are feeling better. How're the boys doing? :hugs: about Bailey, he will always be in your heart and your thoughts and its only natural for you to feel down about things.
JCR: Hope you are enjoying your mat leave. You must be so relieved to have finished up. I remember how eager I was to be on mat leave. Not too long now till you meet your little girl!!!
Ibb: I recommend you pack your bags early. You never know what might happen. I was caught completely unprepared. I only had my bag half packed, but luckily for me we only stayed overnight at the hospital.
Heather: YAY for having your bags packed. You are more organised than me. LOL, can’t believe you have his Christmas pressie already!
NM: I am sorry that you are having a hard time trying to transition your DS into his big bed. It is a big step for him and so will take time. :hugs: darl, just keep at it and he will get there eventually. Thanks for relaying me message to everyone too
Dearmum: LOL! I always thought that you and JCR would go before me, but I guess Leon had his own ideas! Congrats on getting your twinnies to 36 weeks. The longer you have them in there the better their head start when they arrive. Hopefully you will get a more definate induction date from you doc.
Kimmy: Oh Dylan is gorgeous!!! So, so cute and he’s got so much hair!!! :yelclap:
Bubbs: OMG you are 30 weeks already!! Its count down time for you....How amazing!
Jojo: Amazing that you only have 9 weeks left to go! The count down is on. How wonderrful to be god mother to baby, but bummer about the long drive you had to get to port macquarie. Must not have been a very comfortable trip!
Moarimama: Just saw your ticker and you only have 8ish weeks left. I can’t believe how many people are in the last stretch of their pregnancies. I hope you got that little leak checked out and that it is all OK now. It is good that you have nothing to report as that means that all is OK :D
AFM: You would think that after having one child that I would recognise labor when it started. TBH I thought that I was having some achey BH as I had been getting BH for 2 months which felt only slightly less painful than these ones. I thought that if I was in labor that it would be hours yet as I was able to walk, talk and breathe through each tightening. At 6:30am I asked DH to take DS1 as I felt that I needed to go to the loo. I think alarm bells should have rung as in hind sight I was probably fully dilated by then. About 15 minutes later, whilst still sitting on the loo, I felt my first pushing contraction. You can imagine how panic stricken I was as I knew that I WAS IN LABOR and that we were not going to make it to the hospital in time. Poor DH was running around trying to get DS1 strapped into the car and chucking my half packed hospital bag in, whilst I am screaming for him to call an ambulance. I make it downstairs, where my waters broke and then ended up on my hands and knees. The next contraction birthed Leon’s head in one go and then the one right after his whole body came out. Luckily DH was there to catch him before he hit the tiles. Both my labours could not have been more different. With DS1 I was in excruciating pain for the hour before his birth. For DS2, my pain levels were nowhere near what they were with the first birth, I am just glad that it all turned out well, DH and I were saying to each other that things could have gone wrong quite easily, e.g if the cord had been wrapped around his neck then it would have strangled him as he came out as it was such a quick birth. Well the ambulance arrived about 5 to 10 minutes after the birth and the guys asked DH if he wanted to cut the cord. DH declined. I think by this time the enormity of what had happened finally hit him and he was in a bit of shock. They asked me if I wanted to cut the cord but my hands were shaking so I also declined. All is Ok now. Leon is a bit unsettled at the moment. My milk hasn't come in yet and I don't think my colostrum is satisfying him now. I will keep plodding along with BF, but will top him up with formula as well just to make sure he is gaining weight as he is a tiny 2.64 kg. He is so small that he looked like a little ball in the baby seat and did not fit too well in it!
My3 - It's great to hear you and Leon are doing well, i can't believe it happened so quickly. Congrats huni i can't wait to see photo's
Noah has been doing great in his bed the last 3 nights/days have been great he is mainly falling asleep on the floor but he does every now and then fall asleep in his bed, after the first 2 nights/days went well it's been so much easier... We actually both go in of a night to see where he has fallen asleep we end up having a giggle... Anyways girls i'm going to take a break from BH for a bit until i can get myself sorted out, i've been very down lately i'm needing some time to myself and some help.. Until i return good luck with our mum's who are due soon. :hugs:
my3 - WOW how quick did that happen .. what an amazing story - I will take a labour like that thanks very much ! So glad that you are now home and settling in .. hope Leon puts on loads of weight over the coming weeks .. how are you recovering ? Can't wait to see the photos ...take care and rest up
NM - :hugs: sorry to hear you are still feeling down .. just remember we are hear if you need anything ... take care sweet and hope to see you back very soon .. :hugs:
MM - 32 weeks ... not long to go now ... have all your other babies been early, on time or late ? There will be a few of us going within a few weeks around Christmas and New Years .. you feeling great otherwise ?
bubbs - be careful of those sneezes .. I suppose when you get to a certain size .. what was once easy is not longer straight forward .. even sneezing  I am just starting to feel the pressure under my ribs ... think my bubbas are using up all their free space ... hoping they are both still head down at my next scan ...

M3B hon what an amazing birth story.....and you have certainly proven my point of what if I miss the signs. I have been saying all along that I wouldn't know labour when it happens naturally as it has never happened for me and you have shown how true this can be. I have been getting quite intense BH's for ages now and they were that regular on Sunday night that I thought it was all starting. I can only pray that I have such an easy time of it as you did but that I get to the hospital for the actual delivery. Your DH deserved a firm handshake after his part in it....what a precious memory to share with each other.
Jojo I have only ever been induced and they were all early so it will be interesting to see what path this labour/birth take. I am getting oh so excited now.
NM oh it's good to hear that Noah is starting to settle....that hasn't actually taken that long. I hope the time out does the trick and that you join us again soon. Take care sweet :hugs:
Hi Ladies
:hugs:My3boys....OMG what a amazing birth story, thats one day you will never forget:laughing:so glad though that Leon was ok.Funny i have them thoughts of what if twinnies come out and problems start when know ones home, ahhh just silly thoughts though.Hun cant wait to see little Leon.
Hi NM....:hugs:Awww babe take as much time out as you need we are always here when you get back.
Hi Bubbs....I know exactly how your feeling remember on my Hari Raya day that happened to me i somehow twisted a mussel around my rib area from coffing or sneezing,it took a good 3 days for it to go but i had to take some strong meds to ease the pain.Yeh this will be around the time twinnies start to kick up high and its not comfortable at all, what i use to do was rub that area were i felt he/she had his foot and that would ease it a bit.Your doing great though its nearly over.
Hi Jojo....Oh we missed you around here!!
Now that most of the important things are done you can finally relax and enjoy your last few weeks being pregnant.hehe dont forget to show us a nice belly pic before its to late.
Hi Heather....Hun hows the GD going? you must be better at handling it than me :oiv had a bad day with sugar & carbs today.
Hi Maorimama.....Hun just want to give you a BIG:hugs:for wanting to stick around. You have made my day.
Funny i have been waiting for your txt to say its happened, imagine if we have our bubbas on the same day.
Well ladies today has been a tough day for me,with swollen hands and feet and just getting up from a chair is very hard today,i think i over did my mopping yesterday and now paying for it:pso been feeling misserable and binging on sugar & carbs.I told my DH this morning if my cervix is ready tommorro im going to ask them to induce in the evening,Sunday just seems to far away because im at the stage were i cant even drive i reckon.
My3boys - WOW...that is just amazing. Leon surely did not waste any time. :yelclap:
I would do anything for a labour like that myself actually...and the fact u only stayed in hospital overnight... :smiliedance:
Can't wait to see pics of little Leon. Am sure he is adorable like all little babies are. :bee:
NM - :hugs: Hun am so sorry u're feeling so down. I hope everythings ok. pls take it easy...we're all here if u need a chat. take care. :hugs:
MM - I can imagine your excitement . and the unknown of what is to happen with your labour .. I am wishing you a smooth path, which ever your baby chooses .. cause we know it is baby that makes the decision  if you are 32 weeks .. if you go close to 40 weeks .. you will have a Christmas baby ...
dearmum - I was just talking to my DH about you .. how you are hanging in there ... he reckons I will be just like you .. wanting to get the party started and impatient to see my babies ... good luck with your appt tomorrow ... everything is crossed for you hon, especially given your discomfort today :hugs: it is nice to be missed ... I am so glad to be home and back on my regular BH routine ...
Hi Girls,
My3boyz - Wow what a story! Its fantastic it happened so easy for you but it would have been such a shock. I would've loved to be a fly on the wall though to see your faces when you realised Leon was not waiting any longer:laughing:
DM- It won't be long now. The waiting must be so hard but every day longer they stay there is doing them the world of good.
NM -Sorry you are finding the transition so hard. I hope he settles soon for you
AFM - Well it is 11.07pm here and i went to bed 2 hours ago and i am feeling somewhat depressed myself. All i ever wanted was to be pregnant and i am not enjoying it one little bit. Bubs has been kicking all day so hard, it makes me say ouch out loud, my pelvis is hurting and tonight when i finally went to bed, she woke up and started booting me around again. Felt like she had the umbilical cord and was pulling it as my belly button (still an inny) really hurt. I am just so tired,my back is aching and i am exhausted from working today and just want to sleep. I thought bubs was meant to be running out of room now and not move so much but mine seems to be active 24/7 and i can't stand it.
I kind of want her to come now so i don't have to be pregnant anymore.
I'm also absolutely terrified of the c-section, i have never had major surgery before, nor spent a night in hospital. I want DH to be there but am not sure i could handle being awake without freaking out.
And playing on my mind everyday is if i will start to bleed because of my placenta. My ob told me its not IF, its when. I have all this playing on my mind and i can't sleep because of bubs.
Sorry for the me post, needed to vent.
Night
good morning ladies ..
ibb - sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable ... it sounds like you have alot on your mind .. do you have a friend or relative that has had a c/s that you can chat too ? or your Ob ? ... hope you can find someone to share the load who has had similar experience and get some reassurance .. take care :hugs:
how is everyone else today ?
Zoe - haven't heard from you in a while - all OK with you precious ?
heather & dearmum - good luck with your appts today ..
off to have my one coffee for the day ... back later to see if anyone is around ...
xo
Morning Girls...
IBB - I feel your pain, my bubba is kick the crap out of me too, to the point I could nearly cry, I am just so over it.....and inregards to the C-section, dont worry too much (easier said then done I know), I was so scared about it too, but was quite surpised how easy it was, it all happen so quickly, the worst part is the waiting to go to theatre, I was so scared of the spinal block and in the end didnt feel a thing and was over before I knew it. Hey I am going back for another one...all will be o.k. All I can say is dont stay in bed get up and moving and you wil feel a lot less pain as you are starting to move the muscles again, I had DS at 7pm and was up showered and walking around at 7qm the next morning.
My3boyz - Congrats again....wow what a story, your must have been so shocked and scared, Hope there is no bill from the OB for delivery ! and only one night in hospital thats excellent, but I must admit I am looking forward to my stay so I can have rest iykwim...
DM - Goodluck today!
AFM - just been to the OB for the final time before bubba arrives :( a little bit sad....but all good, bubba was still not engaged and BP was o.k, OB gave me my consent form for the c-section, all confirmed for next Tuesday, look like it will be after lunch as he does all his day surgeries first (IVF, Laps, etc) what is good though his wife who is my IVF dr is his assistant surgeon so she will also be present at the birth which is lovely as she has been on this journey with us...
:wave:Hi to everyone else...
Off to the hairdresser now for a colour and cut....gotta look good for the Dr's and Bubba.
Be back later.....
:wave:Morning
Well off to have another CTG and see the doc, hoping so much my cervix is ready to go as i wont to ask them if they can induce me in the afternoon.Trying not to get my hopes up though coz its such a let down when the docs have other plans.Feeling just like i did yesterday like as though my back is going to break and my legs have magnets in them pulling me down.I dont think i will be going back to feeling good like i use to.
Hi IBB....:hugs:Awww Hun your nearly there, take some meds when it gets to much.I feel for you i really do.These last weeks are never meant to be easy.
Hi JCR.....:yelclap:Oh Tuesday it is hey, well spoil yourself you only have a few days to have some freedom.
Hi Jojo & Bubbs....Give them bellies a rub from me ok you guys have been cruising along so nicely.Remember alot of ladies already have there twinnies at this stage,be proud!
Ok better get going still in me PJs:p
Ibb - I have been feeling the same kind of activ movements all this week and i can also say that it does get kinda frustrating. Both bubbas are activ 24/7...i am aware that they don't have much room to move around but it is making me feel a little uneasy at times.
I had a tough time sleeping too last night...kept waking up trying to find a comfortable spot. If i sleep on my right side, istart to get breathless and right bubba is kicking away...if i sleep on my left side (which is the only way i can sleep comfortably) left bubba kicks away on my side so i feel i have to move...if i move to lye slightly straight, they both kick away.
I can't sit either as i feel bubba is pushing up on my breasts/ribs...i just wished they'd move down a bit. :(
Its also a good thing that they're moving so much...atleast i know they're active but iam starting to get uncomfortable now...now i know why ppl say it gets uncomfortable...it surely does.
and yes running out of breath too.
Dearmum - Goodluck with ur CTG/appointment today hun...:fingerscrossed: for u sweety. Let us know how it all goes.
JCR - SO next tuesday it is...how exciting for u...although i hope it comes around quick for u. Atleast u know u'll have bubba in ur arms by tuesday...thats the best thing.
Jojo - How are u feeling? any discomfort??
AFM - Just feeling uneasy as bubbas are active little things and pushing up on my ribs.
I am still in my PJ's...wanna get some cleaning done today but have been feeling heaps lazy...although the plan is to get out of bubhub and to go and get started on cleaning...
Not much else to report...we have our antenatal classes on saturday so looking forward to that. and sunday is my shower...yay
not much else happening here really...just feeling blah
dearmum - hope you get your wish sweets ... everything crossed for you ... how annoying, now that you want your cervix to open and wont .. that stitch did its job .. just longer than you hoped ... can't wait to hear an update from you .. :hugs:
bubbs - yes, starting to feel uncomfortable ... but it has only really been the last couple of days .. I was giggling at what you wrote about lying on either side .. I have the same issue .. doesn't matter how I lie, someone isn't happy .. :) for the most part I am great ... but it is the little things like rolling over in bed that I find hard ... I went to bed early to read as I just couldn't get comfy on the lounge last night .. my bubbs have been low this whole time .. now all of a sudden they are sitting quite high .. no big, painful kicks yet .. but am sure that will come .. just lots of pressure and I swear my little girl moves everywhere by somersaulting .. she is funny
JCR - enjoy your trip to the hairdressers .. congrats on getting your delivery confirmed ... how cool to have husband and wife deliver your baby .. and both have been your DR's along the way ...
had my coffee .. now I think I will find some lunch ... small meals for me ... I cant stomach too much in one sitting ... space is becoming a problem :D

hello ladies,
jojo sorry to hear of the back pain, yep u are right it will get worse as u get further into the pregnancy especially with twins i imagine.
good luck for your growth scan next week.
bubbs ouch for your tummy hurting after sneezing.
hope your cousin and her bubba are doing well in nz.
yeah i am kinda over getting kicked in my ribs all the time but you probably have it worse with the twins.
dont over do it too much with the cleaning, i do my little by little. i do my normal weekly cleaning of the toilet, bathroom, floors etc and then one or two days a week i may do a little extra. i still want to do my windows before tyler arrives.
good luck for your antenatal class saturday and i hope you have fun at your baby shower sunday and get heaps of cool stuff for babies.
my3boyz wow what a quick birth. hope you were ok afterwards.
2.64kg wow leon sounds tiny, how early was he? 2 weeks?
sorry to hear the milk has not come in as yet.
hope everything is well with you and leon.
noahsmum glad to hear noah is getting use to his big boy bed.
have fun on your bubhub break, we all need time to ourselves sometimes.
i am hoping that tyler will be born by the time u get back on bubhub but that really will depend how long u take off.
dearmum i hope the ctg went well today and your cervix is co-operating for you.
sorry to hear of the swollen hands and feet, i can say i have been lucky and not swollen at all(hope i didnt speak too soon as the weather is spose to be warming up this week).
my diabetes is going well cos i am eating well and not nearly as much as i normally do and i exercise atleast once a day but lately it has been 2 times a day to control my levels better. hope your levels arent too bad.
i hope to be hearing some good news from you soon that you have had the twinnies.
ibb sorry to hear you are not enjoying your pregnancy. i have enjoyed mine so far but at the moment i am kind of over it. i have wanted this for so long and now that it is happening i feel a little bad for whinging. dh tells me that all the time that i wanted to be pregnant and to stop whinging. i did thouroughly enjoy my first 2 trimesters but when 3 tri came it kinda went down from there. i just want to meet my little man!!
i too get hard jabs that make me say ouch, i often ask tyler what he is doing in my tummy as sometimes it is like he is trying to escape through my belly hahaha.
yes they do say that babies are spose to move less as they get bigger cos they dont have much room but tyler is still kicking up a storm well not so much kicking more big jabs these days.
sorry to hear you are terrified of your c section, i am not sure how i would feel about it either as i have never had any surgeries a part from ivf/laparoscopy and d&c.
at the end of the day you have to think about what is going to be right for your baby and her health.
jcr great to hear you had your last ob appt that means you get to meet your little princess soon.
tuesday is less than a week away, hope the c section goes well.
glad to hear your bp is going well.
hope your hair looks good after your cut and colour.
i am getting mine cut either fri or sat.
afm had an antenatal appt today. bp was a little high but nothing major so they arent too worried but said if i get blurry vision/headaches or rib pain to go in to get assessed.
my fundal height was 35-36cm which is good cos last week it was 38-39cm and tylers head is starting to engage cos last week it was 5/5 above brim this week it is between 4/5-3/5 above brim.
they are happy with my diabetes.
i am a little peed off though cos i am spose to have an appt between a week to a week and a half so that makes 10-11days max but they cannot fit me in for another 15 days cos they are so booked up.
my next appt is on 12/11 and tyler is due 9 days later so i am hoping he comes in the next 15days before that appt.
heather
:wave:Ladies
Back!
Well happy to anounce im booked in for induction on Sunday:yelclap:whoohoo!
I had a CTG and my girl wasnt reactive so i went and had my doc appt and got my cervix checked and its ready i was told its soft and at 2cm and he said that was without him pushing hard he said he could feel bubbas head:laughing:
I went and had lunch and had a repeat CTG and my girl was awake finally LOL.So yep all the go for Sunday if not before:fingerscrossed:doc said he scraped my cervix a bit so its very possible and could go natural.Funny he said to me ok now your cervix is ready i guess we should book you in....and i said yeh can you do it for tonight:laughing:he laughed and said no it has to be mornings,i didnt want hubby to have any days off work and he knew we lost money at our last attempt so he offered Saturday i had to say nah cant Saturday its my sons birthday he just cracked up laughing.Im kinda hoping i will go naturally sometime after 5 hehe.
Hi Heather....Oh good news on your side everything looking good.Bummer about the late appt but if things go wrong you can always pop in.Yeh i tend to get swollen hands & feet when the weather is hot if not im fine. You have been really good at controling yourself with your diet and exercise i take my hat off to you.I had a bad day yesterday eating timtams and cake just didnt want to be pregnant i guess.
Hi Jojo....Haha yeh turning from side to side is the hardest hey,and it only gets worse trust me.Its good how both you and Bubbs are only 1 week apart imagine you had them on the same day haha.Hows the baby room coming along?
Hi Bubbs....Did you get some cleaning done hehe hard when you feel like staying on bubhub all day hehe thats me.Bet your looking forward to your next baby shower you have been lucky getting some really good stuff, coz having twins aint cheap.I hope those twinnies dont give you to much kicking.
YAY :yelclap: Sunday will see more Babies ... and unless something happens between now and then, our first little girl. so happy for you dearmum ... I bet you can't contain your excitement .. I know I can't and they aren't my babies !!!!
room is coming along .. probably a couple weeks away from photos ... more shopping on the weekend .. YIIPPPPPEEEE .. my money is def on Bubbs going before me .. but only time will tell :)
Heather - what a bummer having to wait ... I hope you can rest comfortbly til then .. and if not, off to the hospital you go .. take care sweets ..
Dearmum - :smiliedance: woohoo...finally eh. Well hopefully it happens "soon" hun...how exciting. Atleast u're already 2cm dilated. Its amazing how our body does things eh.
Goodluck Hun.
Jojo - HA...u wanna put a bet on who goes first...me or u...i also feel it might be me but hey who knows. I am starting to feel massive now...its starting to hit me that i don't have long to go AT ALL. and i agree with dearmum...the turning and tossing only gets worse with a full bladder that feels like its about to burst...:D
Heather - I hope ur next 15 days goes EXTREMELY fast hun. :hugs:
AFM - I did get alot of cleaning done...wanted to get rid of all the cobwebs that were lingering around so di dthat, vaccumed the whole house, dusting, cleaned up my master bedroom bathroom, the kitchen and then showered at 4pm. am buggered now but atleast i'll have a good nights sleep too.
Am going to spend the day with my mum tomorrow...can't wait. Will go to her place in the morning...DH will drop me there on his way to work.
hope the rest of u are doing well.
My3boys- Congrats babe!!!!! Awesome birth story!! How beautifull!!!
Kimmy- Ur bub is just adorabe!
dearmum- SUNDAY!? WHaHOOO!!! I am soooo excited for you!!!
Bubs- Sorry I got hot headed babe, My boys are my entire world, hope your well!!
Hope your all well!
Well Were going home in 1 week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited!!! Xavior 5 pound 12 and caleb 5 pound 2 at this point, grown sooo quickly!!!!! Massive growth from birth, 3 pound 4 and 2 pound 10!!!!!
JCR, wow only 5 days to go!
DM - OMG, only 3 days to go! So happy your cervix is ripe for the pickin:laughing:
Bubbs -So uncomfortable. I have thought about how it would be with two, don't think i'd handle it too well. I have no doubts my little girl is perfectly fine as she doesn't stop and its nice to feel it but i just want some sleep:sleeping:
As for sitting, i have to sit at a desk all day and lately have been trying to work standing up when i get to the afternoon as its just so uncomfortable. I so cna't wait til i can be home, it doesn't seem to bother me so much as it does on the train and at work. Glad you got a lot of cleaning done today. I have cobwebs need getting rid of too. Have fun at your 2nd shower. Hope we both get spoilt!!
Heatherm - Yay for managing the diabetes so well. Pity about the long wait for apmts. I have had mine booked in advance for 3 months up to my fortnightly ones for work purposes.
I feel bad whinging too as this is all i ever wanted but it is just so much harder than i thought it would be. I think i was looking at it through rose coloured glasses so my 17 weeks of morning sickness, my pelvic pain issue, my placenta issue and c-section and now the lack of sleep is a huge reality check. I was on the train this morning thinking about the day we bring her home and that helps. Not so much the birth part, but the finally having her home with us and showing her her room. Trying to keep happy thoughts like that in my mind. Lack of sleep though, good practice!
Kimmy - Loved the pics, can't remember if i already said that LOL How is he settling?
Jojo - Hello, glad all is well with you.
Meliko - Wow Caleb is catching up bigtime. Good on both of them and fantastic you can bring them home in a week. I'm so happy for you all.
AFM - Well i got some sleep. Not enough but i could function at work. Will try an earlier night again and see how i go. When she kicks i am trying to think happy thoughts but she made me squeak on the train this morning. Massive big shove in the side near my hips. My BIL wants to take her to self defence lessons when she's older, don't think she'll need them:laughing:
I have dropped and feeling pressure on my pelvis a bit more. No bleeding. Keeping fingers crossed i don't have that issue til after i finish work. Weather seems to be picking up a bit so hoping Sunday will be a nice day. 28 women and 8 kids coming and so don't want it inside my home. Oven was fixed today so thats a relief.
2 more days til this week is over and than Halloween. Mum always does her house up for it and every year more and more kids get wind of it so looking forward to going over there to help her set everything up and dress up again. My DH is the only party pooper, my dad, brother, his gf and mum and i all dress up, full makeup etc and our friends kids come round too.
Well think this is long enough. Sorry if i missed anyone. Take it easy
xo
:wave:Meliko....
Oh im so happy for you guys:hugs:1 weeks time thats real good, there weights wow there doing great for premmies hey.Not sure about my twinnies at this stage but i swear they feel like 7 pounders:laughing:
meliko - ohhh honey I am so happy for you - dream come true to take those precious boys home ... they have grown SOOOO much ... make sure you send us some updated photos of those growing boys - how are you recovering ?? You OK ?? :hugs:
Dearmum- 7 pounders your reckon ... what a good Mummy you have been to have grown anything close to not 1 but 2 7 pounders ... that must be some weight in that belly of yours ... how is your back coping ?
Bubbs- yeah I reckon you will go first ... I am aiming to be a good "host" like dearmum and take my babies to 36-37 weeks ... so I will happily let you go
Where is our MM ??? - haven't heard from her in a few days ... hello precious, where ever you are .. hope you are doing well ..
AFM .. all this talk of you ladies with bubbs moving 24 X 7 has come now to me ... they dont seem to stop .. but I am thankful that I have an anterior placenta so I can only really feel the down low and up high parts of their kicks ... time for me to eat again ... hope you are all well .. back soon .. xo
:wave:Morning Ladies
Well woken up thinking im just not really prepared for the twinnies,i think i need more nappies and my hubby needs to install the last basinette and put in the car seats.I didnt worry to much before because i thought they would proberly spend atleast a week in special care but now that im this far i have a good feeling there coming straight home with us.Thankgoodness we have Saturday.
Did i tell ya all its my oldest sons birthday on Saturday he will be "20" then come Monday he needs to have a OP to remove his hernia, everything is just happening so quick.I feel a bit guilty because i wont be able to see him at hospital because i will be in myself. The poor thing he is going to end up with a massive cut and it will take around 6 weeks to heal so no work or no money for him.It might be a good thing though coz he may spend more time at home hehe.
Hi Jojo.....I cant wait to see who goes first :smiliedance:between you and bubbs:Dmust say the last week or so have been the hardest your body just seems to feel so tired.I never had this problem with my others.
Babe have you bought your cotts and "big" stuff for bubbies?
Hi Ibb....Your sounding excited about your baby shower good on ya! i hope the weather is nice for you that day so everyone can get outside.
Its cool how your mum makes halloween big in her house, its always been my sons birthday on that day and iv always wanted him to have a dress up party but he was never into it.Maybe now he is that bit older he will enjoy halloween and blend it in with his birthday.
Hi Bubbs....Enjoy your day with your mum....oh i miss having my mum around she is living in Qld while im in Perth, sometimes a good thing:laughing:but other times i miss just going over there and chatting.
Hows our other ladies going today?

Jojo I am here, just been lying low the last few days.....lots on my mind atm. Am doing well though so that is the main thing. We have decided to stay put here in Perth so we won't get the opportunity to meet  until we come for a holiday. DH bless his soul is so happy here and has had doubts about us returning but he didn't want to upset me or our children by saying so.....when he fessed up he got all teary which got me started. He sacrifices so much for us and I love him to bits and am happy to stay for him. Sorry for the :ecomcity:. I too am interested to see who will go first out of a few of us due within weeks of each other.
Ibb oh you poor thing....don't feel guilty for the way you feel....we never know what to expect with pregnancy and sometimes we are dealt with a rough hand.....I promise that once baby is here it will have all be worth every ache and pain.
Meliko I have been wondering when the boys would be coming home....1 week is fantastic news :yelclap:. You must be so excited to finally be getting them all to yourselves.
Dearmum I see you didn't go overnight ;). It is all looking good though, though knowing your luck they will decide to interrupt your DS's b'day and come on Saturday
Heather great stuff for managing your diabetes so well. Sounds like things are going well with you....not too much longer now.
Bubbs you have your next baby shower coming up don't you? Sounded like you had a very productive day of cleaning.....I am soooo over cleaning I tell ya but just can't stop.
Well last night I honestly felt like bubs head was just sitting there....I was very swollen and the pressure made it way too uncomfortable to even sit.....I had to get a sanitary pad and apply some pressure from the outside just to get some relief.....not nice at all. Feeling quite achy today so will have to take things easy.
hello MM .. you poor thing . .and your poor DH ... he must have been carrying around a bit as well .. so you staying where you are .. well at lest now you can get settled for bubbs arrival .. and lets be honest, moving is the pits ! shame we wont get to meet in person ... but as you say, holidays maybe .. as long as the family is happy that is the main thing. Glad to hear you are feeling well ... what is that bubbs of your doing in there ? maybe a dry run .. making sure he knows where all the exits are  take care sweet ...
Dearmum - happybirthday for your DS for the weekend ... I hope his operation goes well .. 20 is young for a hernia isn't it ??? Yes, we have all our big ticket items ... need a wardrobe for the babies room .. but everything else is either here on on laybuy ... need to get the room organised before I can get everything home .. I am looking forward to doing some washing and getting some stuff set up on the weekend ...
AFM .. feeling very happy right now, just ate a donut
Meliko - no worries hun...i can understand...take it easy. Am so happy to hear that ur boys will be home in a weeks time...that is just fantastic. I bet u can't wait to bring them home.
Dearmum - Happy Birthday to ur DS...wow 20. U look so young hun...wouldn't have ever guessed that u have a 20 yr old...seriously.
I hope ur DS's operation goes well...
U'll have ur twinnies soon. yayyy....how exciting. I bet u can't wait.
Ibb - Oh i love halloween...pity its not as big in the area that we live in...but i enjoy having kids dressed up visiting for trick or treat.
I hope u start to feel a little more positive wid this pregnancy...take it easy hun and see the positive and good side of it...maybe then u'll hopefully start to enjoy it a little more. I know easier said then done.
Enjoy ur babyshower hun...i can't wait for mine.
Maorimama - :hugs: take it easy sweet...atleast ur DH spoke up about his feelings...nbut I hope u are also happy with his plans.
Jojo - I am also hoping to take my pregnancy to 36/37 weeks which is another 6 or 7 weeks to go as well...lets see. I'd luv for them to be inside til then so atleast i can take them home with me. :goodvibes:
heather - yes i felt very productive yesterday with cleaning. Today its been a very lazy day at mums...just chilling out now. Its nice.
Will write later...at mums now and chilling out.

Jojo yeah I think it had been weighing on him for a while....I felt really bad that he would put his happiness on the back burner for the sake of me and the kids, but if I was still determined to move he would happily do say. His mantra is Happy wife, happy life :D. I am thinking Kaizer wants to be out and about running around with his siblings, he's so active. I don't think there will be any mistaking his exit...he's there and waiting .
Bubbs it's good your having a lax day today.....so needed after a cleaning spree.
Hi girls well after alot of thinking and some space from my family. My family are causing me alot of stress atm i know if i wasn't pregnant it wouldn't get to me as much, space and time away from them is just what i need..
Haven't had time to catch up and read back yet so i hope everyone is doing well.. 26wks today YAY still feels like ages away considering most of you are so so close.
Welcome back NoahsMum - sorry to hear your family is causing you so much stress ... I feel your pain .. so you're not alone ... I keep a safe distance between me and my side of the family .. stress, pregnant or not .. I just cling to DH's family .. they make me happy ... we of course missed you and are delighted to have you back :hugs: I am not that close and will be around to keep you company .
MM ... I like your DH's motto ... I think he is onto something ... he sounds like a fantastic and consider hubby ... you lucky lady ! I hear Perth is a gorgeous place to live so it is not like you are stuck in the outback  Kaizer is getting organised for his arrival ... I like that .. a good life skill for his to have at such a young age ...
well, all I can say is that I am glad it is Friday !! Have no plans other than to potter around my babies room and get some stuff organised .. wash some clothes and do all things baby ... ohhh bliss !
How is everyone else today ??
:wave:Morning
Hi NM.....:hugs:Glad to have you back! Congrats on getting to 26 weeks you over that milestone :yelclap:
Its good your having a break from family, its not worth letting them stress you out.
Well Ladies another day closer for me and my babies:Dit doesnt even feel like there actually going to even come.
Had a broken sleep last night just tossong and turning, and have woken with both hips sore but its ok only a few days left of sore hips yay.
Hehe didnt end up even cleaning yesterday,my brain wanted to but my body just kept me sitting down so maybe today will be better.

Hi Ladies I started this thread back in Feb and just wanted to say that our little baby  would have been due today :hissy:
I felt it was important that that little baby was remembered in this thread as one of our angels on what would have been his/her special day.
Hi Mrs Mermaid:hugs:It must be a hard day for you today :no:its awful how time goes quick and you realise it was there birthday. Thanks for sharing his/her day i will have a little prayer for her today ok.Thinking of you XX
maorimama
30-10-2009, 10:49
Mrs M I will say a little prayer for your . Thinking of you :hugs:.
Welcome back NM....I too know all too well about the stress that family can cause. As much as I adore mine and DH's families and as close knit as we all are, they have caused us major grief over the years. A break away for us has been the best thing and will do you the world of good as well. YAY on reaching the 26wk mark :yelclap:.
Jojo I think my DH is the best in the world....couldn't ask for a better man, but I am biased where he is concerned :). You're not wrong, Perth is a gorgeous place, but we still have alot of unchartered territory to explore. Oh can't wait to see pics of your nursery.
Dearmum I see you are still hanging in there , only 2 more sleeps!!!
Well we had a tradesman here yesterday doing some repairs and he asked what we were having and if we had a name yet. When I told him Kaizer he said oh that's a German/Austrian name and means Leader/Boss....so  cause he has taken over my body that's for sure. Wonder if he will live up to his name?
Mrs M - I remember when you told us the sad news. It's hard to believe time flies so fast. Thinking of you and your angel baby today. I hope it hasn't been too hard for you :hugs:
Jojo - That's just it, it really isn't worth the stress and i'm over everything if this is what my brother and sister are going to be like then i don't need them, they are both living at my mum's atm and have been for the last 6-9mths my sister has 2 kids as well. It's destroyed mine and mum's relationship but the space i think will do mum some good as it will myself she is so stressed with what's going on. I'm not a fan of DH family either it comes across to me that they don't have any interest or want any in DS life they never come to visit him or call to see how he is. The last time they came over to see him was his birthday in April they have only seen him twice since then and seriously only live 2min down the road. DH and i have come to the realisation that we are just our own little family we have a great bunch of close friends who are more like family to us. sorry for the whinge
DM - How exciting one more sleep until you meet your babies
MM - Thinking of you.
MM - Guess you know who is going to be the boss of your house hold when he is here.
DH has been away with work since Tuesday and he is back today, i am looking forward to having a break. Poor DS had a temp Thursday/Friday took him to the GP yesterday he has an ear infection and on antibiotics he isn't quite himself but alot happier then he has been. I'm off to pancakes today for my besties birthday mmm
Hi Ladies:smiliedance:
Whoohoo in just 1 sleep i will be holding my twinnies,im now really getting excited coz i know today will go quick and i know i will take myself to bed early so the time will go quick:p
Done another stupid thing yesterday...i thought lets get these babies out on a Friday night so i took a good lot of Castor oil but this time i didnt even bother measuring it just doubled what i had last time.Took myself shopping thinking this will kill some time anyway no joke i was only there for about 10mins and started getting pains i thought shoot i better either get to a toilet or a hospital so i just took myself home:p
Just home and bummmm Sh*t my pants and not only my pants my floor it was THAT bad! thankgod my hubby wasnt around coz i would have died:o
So yeh had tightenings for about 3hrs then they just went away,my babies aint stupid they didnt fall for the castor oil trick:laughing:anyway now im just praying they dont come today coz its my sons birthday and the thought of 3 kids birthdays at once makes me tired.Iv told DH if they do decide to come today im putting my butt up and closing my legs coz there just NOT coming.
Hi NM....Awww hope your son is better now.Have a lovely day out and pancakes sound good to me:D

Thanks for you wishes ladies.
Dearmum I have to say your post made me laugh  serves you right!!!! wanting to hurry things along and taking things to the extreme.
Im sure your experience will steer many away from trying that in the future
I cant talk really Im 22 weeks and travelling fine. I havnt got to that 'get it out' stage yet. Im sure I will. Then Dearmum you can tease me
Best of luck for tomorrow honey!
Hi girls very quiet in here today.....
Just wanted to wish DM all the best for tommorrow and hope all goes to plan , I will be thinking of you....
AFM only 3 days to go, but been having some severe pains in the last 24 hours, and it's making me feel so ill and too scared to leave the house alone, was supposed to go to a friends birthday tonight but just couldn't do it, so DH went by himself and DS and I are at home....my mum arrives in the morning which I am looking forward too as I have not seen her for almost 8 months
noahs mum - sounds like alot of stress for your Mum as well .. best you keep your distance and protect yourself and "your" family for all those goings on ... never apologies for sharing your feelings .. that is what your BH friends are for :) How is DS going in his new bed ? is he all settled and happy ?
Mrs Mermaid - big :hugs: for your  and special day yesterday ..
JCR - 3 days !!!!! Hope that pain is sign labour is just around the corner and you meet your precious baby VERY soon .. take care
DearMum - :shame: with the castor oil .. although I have to admit I did laugh at your little mishap .. and still giggling away to myself now .. tomorrow is the big day .. cant wait to hear about the safe arrivals of your new babies ... and hope your DS had a great birthday today .. all the best for tomorrow sweets ... :goodvibes:
MM - ohhh SO close to sharing pics ... but cant share the work i progress, just the end result ... I love the way you talk about your DH ... I feel exactly the same about my DH .. wouldn't change him for all the money in the world ..
 to all the other precious bubhub ladies
AFM had the best day ! Picked up my second cot and my lovely DH put it together for me while I was out getting lollies for the kiddies doing trick or treat tonight. We moved the furniture around and we are getting close now. We laybuyed our chair for the nursery, our cot sets and breast pump (that was cheap!). So when we sort out the rest of the nursery i can go collect the other bits in a few weeks and complete the picture. We got a "bubbles" theme .. which is sea/ocean characters - soooo cute and fits perfect for both boy and girl. Started taking all the bags and nappies out of my room and putting them in the nursery ... I find myself just standing at the door smiling .. it is a huge MESS but just the thought of those little cots having babies in them soon gets me excited !
Will be checking regularly tomorrow to see how DearMum is getting on ... and possibly some news from JCR ?!?!?!
Bye for now ladies, hope you are enjoying your weekend ...
NM: Glad to hear that DS is now starting to settle well in his bed (even if he does sleep on the floor sometimes). I am sorry that you are feeling down at the moment with family giving your troubles :hugs: How terrible that your DS has an ear infection and has to be on antibiotics.
Moarimama: I couldn't agree with you more on the not knowing when you are in labor thing. I was also induced with DS1 and didn't recognise the signs....Hopefully your labor will start off slowly and give you time to get to the hospital. Wow sounds like baby is sitting really low with all the pressure that you are feeling down there. Sounds like you will be able to set up a nursery for bub now that you are staying in Perth. I am glad that your DH has finally told you about how he has been feeling about moving and that you have made a decision to stay in Perth
Jojo: great to hear that bubbas are head down (hopefuly they stay that way). Can't imagine how uncomfortable you must be at the moment with them kicking all the time. Just remember to rest up as you will need it when in labor. Are you planning on having a VB? Or will it be Csection? Sounds like you are going to enjoy your night with kiddies coming around for trick or treating!
Bubbs: Yes my labor was great...but....I would still prefer to birth in hospital as if anything is wrong with bub then they are equiped to deal with it. Not long till you will be holding your bubbas...Take care and look after yourself. Rest up as much as possible. Hope you have a wonderful time at your baby shower tomorrow.
ibb: :hugs: darl. I can't imagine how you are feeling. I was complaining about my aches and pains but they are nothing compared to what you are experiencing. You know even though being pregnant is all you ever wanted, you shouldn't feel bad about venting. I think its better than keeping everything in and bottling it up. Vent away and don't feel bad about it.
JCR: I totally understand why you would want to stay in hospital for a few days. For me I was more eager to get home so that I could sleep better. I can't sleep in foreign environments and since Leon and I were doing really well there was no point for us to stay longer. Its fantastic that you now have a definate date for your delivery. I will check in next week to see how things go!
heather: Great to hear that Tyler's head is starting to engage! Sounds like things are progressing in the right direction. Leon was 37+4 weeks gestation when born. He slowed down his growing in the 2 weeks before being born as I had a terrible cold/flu and was on antibiotics. Hopefully your BP doesn't rise any further and sorry that they couldn't fit you in for an earlier appointment.
dearmum: Good luck for your induction tomorrow. I will be waiting to hear the wonderful news from moarimama! Your twinnies will be here in no time!!! YAY!!! Hope your son had a wonderful birthday today! LOL....sorry I had to laugh about your little uhhmmm accident!
Meliko: OMG!!!! How WONDERFUL to be going home in a weeks time!!!! Your boys are doing so, so well :yelclap: What little champs they are! Congrats again on being finally able to bring them home!
Mrs Mermaid: Oh darling, I know it has been very hard on you and can remember when you told us of your heart breaking news. Ofcourse your baby should be remembered and hopefully your up coming arrival will help with some of the pain, but I know that your special litle angel will never be forgotten and always will be loved and remembered in your heart.
Hi to everyone else that I have missed.
AFM: I have been struggling over the past few days. My baby blues set in and peaked yesterday when I couldn't stop crying. I've been having lots of problems with breast feeding as well. Every feed has been a battle with trying to get Leon to attach. Its resulted in a lot of frustration and crying from Leon and a lot of tears from this mumma. Hopefully things will get easier, but at least Leon has been sleeping well at night (touch wood). I have been thinking about all of you gals a lot and wondering how you are doing. It is nice to be able to finally get on here and read about your pregnancy journeys. I will post photos when I work out how to do it.
Hi Ladies

Can't wait to hear the update and see piccies. Hope you got a good night sleep last night.
Bubbs -Enjoy your 2nd babyshower
I'll do more personals later.
My baby shower is today. It's a beautiful day outside. Had a bad night though. I definately overdid it with the cleaning and cooking, could barely walk last night and my pelvis woke me 3am. Taking panadol and think i froze our poor baby with the icepack - definately woke it up!!!
Hoping it will settle so i can enjoy today. On the plus side, i have a nice clean house and there is barely anything to do today.
Morning Ladies:D
Well iv been waking up all night like every hour just tossing and turning guess the excitement got to me huh.Its now 5.30 so i have a hour to call the hospital to ask what time they need me there, lets hope its not B*****y the afternoon:laughing:
Hi Ibb & Bubbs....Guys have fun at your baby shower i hope your babies get nice and spoilt:D
Gawd im going to miss all the gossip while im in hospital.Im hoping to get out on Tuesday but will see how it all goes with the babies.
Oh i had a dream about them both last night....and my boy was born with heaps of hair and it was curly and the girl had a normal amount and it was straight haha funny, but all i was doing in my dream was changing nappies and breast feeding,oh and my hubby looked lazy:laughing:

morning ladies,
mrs mermaid i hope the anniversary of when your baby was due was not to sad for you.
hope you are feeling ok today.
hope everything is going well with this pregnancy and baby.
dearmum all the very best for your twins arrival today. hope the labour is not too long and there is no need for a c section.
your dream sounds so cool i wonder how correct it was??? guess u get to find out soon.
good luck.
jcr i hope your c sections goes well on tuesday and your little princess is just perfect.
hope you recover well from the c section also.
ibb have a wonderful time at your baby shower today. hope it isnt too hot for you, it is hot here today cant wait to meet tyler so i dont have to put up with much more heat. although i am lucky to be at the end of the pregnancy so i get to miss out on the swelling due to the heat.
my3boyz i am sorry to hear of the sad/tough time you are experiencing at the moment.
can i be really rude and ask did it happen with ds1?
i guess most people think that once a woman has had one child the next child will be a breeze but i am learning from word of mouth that, that is not the case. all babies are different.
i hope you start to feel better soon.
take care!!
jojo sounds like your nursery is coming along nicely. it is great to hear that you are starting to move the stuff out of your room so you have more room to move.
hope those twins are doing well in that belly of yours.
maorimama that is so funny about your little kaizer and what it means.
sounds like he is already the boss and he isnt even born yet haha.
hope you are well.
noahsmum sorry to hear of little noahs ear infection, poor little guy.
hope he recovers soon.
also sorry to hear of the family troubles you are having. they say that blood is thicker than water well that is not usually the case for a lot of people.
dh and i dont speak to his parents and we are having problems with his brother atm and we dont talk to my sister and her dh.
our friends are much closer to us and more like family to us than many of our real family members.
hope everything gets sorted out soon.
hope you and that little baby of yours are going well.
bubbs what is going on with you and those babies?
hello to everyone else, hope you and your bubbas are well.
afm still here haha, 20 days til tyler is due but who's counting ha ha ha ha.
cant wait!!
my emotions are a bit over the place at the moment, mostly angry or upset.
i am yelling at dh constantly and he is letting me know that i am being hormoanal atm. i am like no you are just being a jerk hehe.
as we are on one wage at the moment i am kinda struggling cos dh gets paid and it only just covers the bills. it makes me sad cos we cant do anything.
will be better once tyler is born and we get centrelink money and baby bonus. it sounds horrible i know but we really need the extra bit of cash. not like we are having a baby to get the baby bonus i am just saying the money will help big time.
i had a hair cut yesterday, i am not overjoyed with it as it is a bit shorter than i would have liked but it isnt as bad as i had first thought either. i think cos after i had it done yesterday it went boofy cos i didnt get it blow dryed after only cut wet. it looked pretty bad! today i have blow dried it and it looks ok but i did tear up a bit this morning thinking it was really bad.(before i styled it).
well that is about it from me today, we are hoping that tyler makes his arrival today but i dont think he is quite ready yet.
enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.
heather
:hair:Still at home hospital delayed me coming in coz there to busy but im off soon need to be there at 11am our time yay:yelclap:going soon.
Dearmum: GOOD LUCK for today. You will finally be able to hold your twins in your arms!!! :yelclap:
heather: I did have problems with breastfeeding DS1, but not like this. DS1 was more of a sleepy feeder as he was quite jaudiced. He was able to latch on but kept on falling asleep on the boob. I breast fed until DS1 was 7 months and had to stop as expressing in the toilets at work was not very nice. With DS2, he just can't latch on and gets frustrated very quickly, then the tantrum crying starts. Sending you loads of :hugs: It is no fun having to worry about money issues when you have a bub on the way. Once Tyler comes I am sure the money from Centrelink and baby bonus will help.
ibb: Have a wonderful time at your baby shower today
AFM: I've made the executive decision today that I will stop breast feeding for the moment. I will continue to give Leon EBM to keep my supply going. I will try breastfeeding again in a couple of months to see if he can latch on better when he is a little bit bigger. It will be less stressful for the both of us this way and I feel more at peace with this decision.
Can anyone give me tips on how to upload nphotos? I've never done this before so not sure how to.
Dearmum- GOODLUCK I keep popping in to see how you are going..
m3b- Yes I though about taking Dylan off me, I also had a few real bad days where he just tore me apart.. but he seems to be hooking up better now.. As for the "blues" I had an emotional day yesterday, today I seem fine again... only seems like yesterday that my nipples were normal:laughing: sending you:hugs: as that is all I wanted yesterday, as long as you didn't touch me!!
Hi to you other lovely ladies, I had a huge post typed out yesterday and did all the personals, pressed send, walked away, came back hours later and I had to many smiley faces and it didn't go.. then I timed out and it wouldn't send anyway..
Gotta run now and do tea..
cheers
Kimmy
Hi everyone....
I have not been on here for what seems like weeks now. Will get to that later.
For now just want to wish Dearmum all the best, hope all goes well and am looking forward to hearing about you new arrivals, you have done so well getting this far and to be put off by the doctors for having them for such a long time....
M3B-Congratulations on the speedy yet safe arrival of Leon. Wow what a story. Sorry to hear you are having some feeding issues, guess I never really thought about that happening, just opened up a whole new issue for me....
Hi to everyone else. Hope to get the chance to get on here again soon to see how you are all going and to do some personals....Best wishes to you all.

hmmmmm wonder what the go is with dearmum and the twinnies???
hope everything is going alright.
Still no news from DM... Hmm sounds like those babies are too comfortable!
jojo - DS in the bed well most days he falls asleep on the floor once we move him back into bed he stays there, but he doesn't try to get out as much anymore and it's taking alot less time for him to go to sleep. 2weeks now he has been in his big boy bed.. Sounds like you have had a great time buying and getting everything ready for your bubba's.
My3 - It may not be what you wanted to do but it sounds like stopping the BF for now is the best thing for both you and Leon. He sure sounds like a good little sleeper..
heather - How exciting not long unti Tyler arrives, it sure is a big adjustment going from 2 wages to 1 you guys will get there. Sorry to hear about your haircut, the same thing always happens to me
AFM - DS had a nice surprise when he woke up on saturday DH was there at the door to pick him up he was so excited. Poor little man hadn't really eaten much over the last 4 days thankfully he has been drinking alot which is the main thing, he ate brekkie this morning and seems more like himself those antibotics must have kicked in.. Yesterday we took DS down the beach and he had a ball water was a bit to cold for him but he had so much fun in the sand even had a couple of taste tests and even chased a seagull. I'm a little pink today and a little sore oh well didn't think i would get that burnt before 11.30am.. So excited i'm getting DS christmas layby off on Wednesday then i can see what else we need to get him YAY
HI LAdies
I thought i would log in and find news in regards to Dearmum but nothing as yet..i agree i think her bubbas are very very very comfortable and enjoying their time inside their mumma. I hope shes doing ok though. :goodvibes: :fingerscrossed:

Just received a txt from Jodie (Dearmum)........labour went from 4pm to 12.04, Girl Amelia - 2.1kg and boy Ashrul - 2.6kg both doing well. It seems they stopped her pushing otherwise the twins would have been born on different days :p. Jodie is in intensive care she lost alot of blood and her uterus is not contracting back. Will keep you all posted as I get word.

Oops not too sure what happened there...was supposed to write more but my page disappeared and then all of a sudden i notice that my post has appeared..>WEIRD.
My3boys - SOrry to hear that u're struggling a little with feeding Leon and the baby blues...am sure its all very normal to feel the way u are. I hope that Leon latches on...i have heard that breastfeeding was never meant to be easybut am sure u'll get the hang of it very soon. Maybe u could try topping him up with some formula?? but see how u go!! :hugs:
Heather - Am still here darling. Not disappearing anywhere so soon. ;)
Those babies of mine are doing great...am 31 weeks this week and my bubs are measuring at 36 weeks according to a single pregnancy and both r growing at the same rate...so very pleased about that. Wow 19 days before Tyler arrives...u must be so excited. I bet u can't wait.
Ibb - How was the baby shower hun?? did u end up in the park or at ur place???
JCR - I hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow with the cesarean...will be thinking of u hun and can't wait to see updates online. YAYYYYY...finally.
NM - Sounds like u had a great day at the beach with DS...am sure he enjoyed himself..maybe the sun did him world of good and the beach environment helped him feel a litlte better...always a nice idea. GOod on u hun.
In regards to family...u know sometimes its best to just keep within ur own little family and thats it...u don't need that pressure from inlaws/or ur own parents, brothers or sisters...u're pregnant and need to think about what makes u happy...not what makes others happy. :hugs:
Kimmy - How are u coping with Dylan my love??? Hope he is being cooperative.
Maorimama - Whats happening with u love?? all good? are u still feeling alot of pressure down below? I was told that once "lightening"happens, its when baby has dropped down...could it be it for u??
Jojo - how are u feeling hun with those twinnies on board.
Meliko - Its this week that u bring ur boys home right...I bet u and ur DH are very very excited...can't wait to see updated pics of ur bubs.
AFM - I am doing well...bubbas are kicking away and am taking it a littl eeasy today. Yesterday I had alot of fun at my baby shower...my sis di da wonderful job in organising the food and lending me her house and getting all the pressies sorted out. It was great fun oh and the cake that she had for me...my goodness...i couldn't stop starring at it...and she had little cupcakes that she ordered and the top bit was babies faces sucking on dummy or a smily baby with a beanie on...so sweet. She got couple of my friends to organise some small short simple games which was great too...just wat i wanted...simple yet casual. it went from 2pm till 6...and my babies got pampered for sure. Got more clothes, toys, books, blankets, wraps, the tommee tippee nappy sealer...bottle warmer/cooler travel pack...so yes felt very spoilt.
I will now just spend some time going through all that I have and make a list of things that I now need to get and will start on it soon...i think i've been putting it off for a bit so will spend a bit of time getting that shopipng done like getting some baby bottles, cot sheet sets for two cots etc etc...baby creams etc etc.
Can't wait. Its all started to feel really exciting now and closer too.
I am 31 weeks this week and measuring 36 weeks single pregnancy...so surely growing. Have been told to take it really easy now as its this crucial period that we want the babies to stay in there till atleast 35 weeks...am happy for them to come anytime after 36 weeks...which is 2nd week of december.
Hope u're all doing well...am just taking it really easy today and feeling a bit lazy.
but will probably get a little more active once i've finished my internet stuff.
CONGRATULATIONS JODIE & RIO ON THE SAFE ARRIVAL OF UR LITTLE TWINNIES.
GORGEOUS NAMES TOO. :cloud9:

JCR you are next hon....can't wait to hear your fab news :yelclap:. Take things easy today and all the very best for tomorrow.
M3B :hugs: the first few weeks are a huge adjustment, just take your time honey and ease yourself into things. Sounds like you have made the best decision for both you and Leon in regards to breastfeeding and that is all that matters.
Ibb how was your baby shower? Hope you got lots of goodies.
Heather not long for you now either. I can't relate to dropping an income as I have only ever been a SAHM....My DH isn't on a huge wage but it works for us....I hope things ease for you once baby Tyler arrives.
Kimmy how are you and Dylan doing?
Meliko is it this week that your boys come home? What a milestone :smiliedance:you and DH both must be very excited and eager to have them with you.
NM poor Noah....he's had a run of it these last few months. We have finished our xmas shopping but I still can't help myself getting little extras whenever I am at the shops :o.
Bubbs sounds like your shower was just the thing yesterday....that's what I am hoping for - simple and relaxed. Mine is 15/11. Doesn't sound like you will have to get too much more for your boys.
Jojo sounds like your nursery is coming along beautifully , I know the feeling of not being able to wait to fill the cot with baby ;).
Well I came crashing back to earth in a big way this weekend....I had next to no energy and slept so much, but I think it was needed and long over due as I haven't slept very well the last few months. Am feeling alot better today so am going to wash the rest of my nappies and the cot sheet sets I brought on Friday.
Dearmum said she will continue to be monitored closely and is hoping to go home on Wed....will keep you all posted.

Wow CONGRATULATIONS what amazing news about the twins. That might have been good to be born on different days. Then DM would have had 3 kids born the sat, sun and mon!
:hugs: Jodie take care honey. Dont go all supermum on us ok. Rest up and look after those twinnies. You did it!!!!!!!

How exciting...I can't wait to hear Dearmums birth story...will give me an idea of what am in for too with delivering my twins...
Oh yes i had my antenatal class on saturday...was in shock horror when i got shown the video...i mean i knew what its alla bout but it did scare me a little.
I think its mainly getting through contractions to get to that 10cm dilation...then after that once u're towards the end of push...done. LOL.
Time will tell.
bubbs- you just reminded me.. my birthing story.. it's not very interesting.
I was given the gel about 830am ish, contractions started within 20 mins, I was told to walk but could only get to the door and back:laughing: about 11ish I was taken to labour ward where I started on the gas. I remember Troy trying to take the hose out my mouth, he said there was no hope. I told them if I was less than half way (dilated) at 3pm I was my peth shot.. but by 245 I wanted it right or wrong, they checked me and I was only 3/4 cm.. Gave me my peth, layed me on my side.. about 57 mins later I told them he was coming, they checked and boom.. I had alarms going off everywhere Dylan went into distress and his heartrate crashed to below 40.. I was told to push there was no stopping I was just told to get him out.. I'm high, confused and Troy's face said it all, doc was getting that sucking thing (sorry no idea what it's called) they were going to get him out... but in less than a min I had pushed him out, they had cut his cord and wisked him away... By this time Troy was an emotional wreck, his first words to me was "he has my nose" I think Troy cried for about 10 mins straight, he said he would never watch me go through that pain again.. I was still stitting on the bed dazzed.. I did tell them I dilate quickly:laughing:
Dylan is an awsome little man and is doing really well, he wakes at about 11/12 for a feed then about 3 and 7am.. (when ever during the day) He was weighed again on friday and he was back to his birth weight, he was 6'6 when we left hospital.. His in green today and looks like a little pea!!
Well better run I have a new horse arriving in 1/2 hour so I better get ready.. (as Dylan awakes)
Take care ladies
Kimmy
