I am after breakfast suggestions for DH. He never eats breakfast as he says he dosn't have time, which is not a very good example for DS.

He won't eat cereal which is a shame. So if anyone has any other suggestions apart from just plain old toast I would love to hear them!;)

Some mornings I can throw a fruit smoothie at my DH - he usually drinks it in the car though ... (he likes to spend our money getting breakfast at work .. but we wont discuss that here... )

or a toasted english muffin (doesn't take long) with vegemite and cheese or ham and cheese?? (easier to eat in the car too)

the other things that spring to mind (if he doesn't have time..) are the up and go drinks??? at least he would have something in his tummy at work ..

My husband runs out the door with a plate of toast and a cup of tea. I keep suggesting a breakfast bar type thing but he reckons he does OK with toast and tea.

Ikwym about it being a bad example for DS - the thing is that when DH takes DS to creche they both have toast for breakfast in the car - at least they're eating something.

DH has just started having the Up'N'Go drinks, and thinks they are great! He never was a big brekkie eater, and even when he's home, breakfast is at about 11am!

Bagels :)
There is nothing yummier than a toasted bagel with margarine and vegemite on it an very easy to eat on the go

Pikelets or pancakes would be easy to eat while driving. Also waffles - can you buy the frozen ones here that you just pop in the toaster?

If he's not trying to drive while eat you could scramble an egg and roll it in a fahita wrap, or use to fill half a pita shell, and add tomatos, salsa, bacon, whatever he likes. Possibly messy though so best eaten sitting down.

DH keeps a box of cereal and a large soup bowl at his desk at work so that he can have his breakfast at 10 when it suits him. Certainly cheaper than buying a muffin or something each day. I tend more towards a cup of yogurt and granola bar when I arrive at work.

I usually simply have an apple, or a muesli bar, these are easy to hold while driving and not too messy. Sometimes I'll have a breakfast bar like Crunchy Nut aswell.

I do have the odd Maccas every now and then, which is finished by the time I arrive at work!
