allergy specialist in Perth??

Can anyone recommend a good allergy specialist in Perth?

DD is 11mth, severe reflux, continuous ear infections (even with grommets) and probably only been "well" a total of 12 days her whole life.

I am desperate for sleep and looking for any help. The GP is doing her best but I am wondering if there is something more, like allergies that need looking at.

I have heard Dr Naidoo based in Joondalup is an 'allergist' and pead and apparently very very good - he has been dealing with these issues for over 20 years. hope that helps!

I did book in with Bandouvakis but so her ENT today and he wants her to see Nolan. I haven't googled him yet but Nolan can't fit her in for 10 weeks and Bandouvakis was available next week.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sorry, no real help as Niadoo was going to be my suggestion too.

I'd take the booking for next week and see how things go. If you don't like the Dr or don't feel like you've gained anything from the appointment, then try the other one.

ETA: 10 weeks is Christmas, you're not likely to get much help/action at that time of year.

Hi. If you don't get anwhere with those ones, give Dr Franzman a try. She is at SJOG subi. She normally has a big wait, but she is worth it. She spends ages with you and comes up with a clear treatment plan.:)

Dr Franzmann is your woman. We see her. If your GP calls directly you'll get in within a week. don't just call up yourself with a referral. Get GP to phone and fax in referral that explains the whole situation.

She is quite good.

Also make an appointment with Katherine Murray the dietician in Nedlands. She works closely with Franzmann and Dr Franzmann will tell you to go see her as well. her phone number is 9389 8829

My son sees Dr Richmond at paediatric immunology at PMH.

Very knowledgeable, very approachable, nice gentle manner.

I was going to suggest Naidoo aswell lol. He does clinics at PMH too I am pretty sure.
