I love and always have...

Whole mustard, roast beef and swiss cheese...

The ones you buy from the servo's are actually the best.

Chicken with a dash of salt (gotta have proper butter with this...marg just doesn't do the trick for me :D ) and on toast is even better!
Peanut butter(smooth) & raspberry jam (the smooth stuff....lumps of fruit are gross!)
Roast meat (topside) and tomato sauce

All of these (not together of course  ) on fresh white bread.

aggero, i ate ham all through both pregnancies and was fine.....i thought it was more the salami, and sausage type processed meats? You could always have ham off the bone, not processed then!

Yeah.... I had avoided ham through my first pregnancy because of (listeria), then was told by the midwife 2 weeks before my due date that I should be having ham sandwiches to help with extra iron. I think you just have to be careful and make sure it's fresh and safe food handling is in place

Here is a different filling that I used to prep for a sandwich filling in a cafe.

Cheese and onion filling
Using a food processor grate some tasty cheese together with a little onion and a touch of water to moisten for easy spreading. You can spread on bread by itself or add any other fillings like cold meats or salad.
