When are you supposed to get the Anti-D shots? At what weeks throughout preg?

Hi, I have been told to get one if I have any bleeding whatsoever, or wait till birth (as there is the chance of mixing of blood during birth). But they have already checked to see if I have any antibodies in my early preg blood work. They may also check to see if there are anti bodies at around 20 weeks apparently.

Hope this helps :)

I can't remember really quite well but it was around 24 weeks and 32 weeks I think and also more shots if you have bleeding.

I had one at 8 weeks because I was bleeding, I had one yesterday 27 and half weeks and I was told to come back at 34 weeks to get another one. I think you are supposed to get another one if your baby has positive blood when it is born. If the baby has negative blood I dont think they worry about giving you another one......

For me it's 28 and 34 weeks althought by my account I'll be 35 weeks by the time I have it. They still seem to test your blood for the anti-bodies even if you have the anti-d injection as I think the antibodies can still form even after the shots. Something like that anyway. No definitive timeframe but around 28, 32 or 34 weeks plus if you have any other bleed.
