It's a quite dangerous condition in late pregnancy, high blood pressure, oedema (swelling of hands feet ankles etc), dizziness, blurred vision.
I think it also means protein in the urine? ie, if you've got high blood pressure and swelling, but no protein in the urine, then it's not pre-eclampsia? I'm SO not a medical person though LOL Ask your midwife about this Sara, she'll be able to give you a more comprehensive answer, and let you know if you're at risk for it. :thumbsup:
