This is just out of curiosity but I am looking for mums of 9 month old babies to tell me what there childs height and/or weight is just for a comparison. Or any mums who know what there baby was at around 9 months. I know all babies are different but I still like to compare. :)

Hi I have a 9 month old daughter. She has been weighed for awhile but I think she is about 10kgs. I think this becuase I have just had to put in the 10kg-15kg size nappies. They are a tiny bit big on her but the size under were getting to small. I am not sure of her height, she won't lie still enough for me to measure her. My daughter was born 10 weeks early so her corrected age is about 6.5 months. So I am not sure what a baby at 9 months should approx. weigh.

How heavy is your baby?

Hi. I have a 9 month old son, he went 4 a check up a few weeks ago. He weighed 9.7 kg & was 72cm long. I still manage to put him in medium size nappies but when am finished this pack will be upsizing - I also use 10 - 15 kg huggies 4 overnight. He has just started to pull himself up to a stand using furniture or us 4 support - boy can he move when he wants something. I think this is the best age cos his personality is really coming out - we just love him to bits...

Nathan is 9mths and about 9.5kg and 77cm long.
He walks holding on to furniture or our hand. He realy is starting to become very cheeky, getting in to his sisters toys, laughing when she gets into trouble, stealing her food. Nathan has just started protesting if he is not eating the same as us. Is anyone elses bub doing this? I'm sure my daughter was much older when she started this.
Mandymoo your daughter is doing great considering she was premi

Hi there.
Oscar is nearly 9 months old and is a good solid boy!!...he's about 10.8kg and around 78cm in length. He is walking around the furniture and loves to walk holding on to our hands. He's way too strong for my liking too! He is quite the fussy eater and doesn't eat much at all so he's just a solid build I guess!

kayden pretty much eats anything in sight - its more the beer bottle or cup of coffee that he wants & when offered a cup doesn't want a bar of it he's a real boob boy). We have been very lucky as he isn't fussy with what is offered though he's not at all keen on lasagne, think it was probably to rich for him.

Yes Nathan is a strong boy too, he has just worked out how to open the fridge door.
What words are your bubs saying?
Nathan is only saying mum, dadda, bub. Allthough he tries very hard to say dog.

my god my DD was tiny, she staied in 10-15kg huggies till I toilet trained her at 2 and a half! She's 3 now and is still only 13kg.
Don't know if this helps but at nine months she was only 8.5kg

Wow my son beats you all then. He is 12.17kg still trying to find the tape measure :) . He is in 10 - 15kg nappies but they are getting smaller every day. He hold holds his weight pretty well though. He has just started crawling on thurs and now pulling himself up on everything (making a terrible mess). He says mum, dad, cat, pup, no, and ta everytime you hand him something. I am absolutly loving this age.

Hi Rell

Yes my daughter is doing very well for being a premmie baby. When you look at her you wouldn't even know. She has just learnt to sit up and say dad and bub. She is slowly catching up with her milestones.

I found the tape measure - he is roughly 78cm (I say roughly because he wouldn't stay still to measure)

Nick is one week short of 9 months. I had him weighed about a month ago and he was about 9.2kg then but he's been walking for nearly 3 weeks now so I think his weight is probably about the same (burning it all off) He's a good eater - loves shepherds pie!

He's about 72cm - it's hard to get him to stand still long enough to measure him and he's in the 10-15kg nappies now too

Wow Nick is walking! Its funny how they all develop at such different rates, I know a 9th old who isn't crawling yet.

My 9.5 month old has only been crawling since last thursday - I don't know if I'd like it if he was walking already
