Another step two question.........
DD has just started her step 2 formula (heinze) but since starting she has been having big sickies.
She is a reflux bub, but with the thickener, she hasn't had this for a long time.
Will it get better, or should I just go back to step 1 (have read that it is OK for up to 12 months!)
Can anyone please shed a little light?
TIA!
I'd give it a week or two and see if it settles down. My DD was a bit like that when I changed her onto the step two formula (she's on S26), she also got a bit constipated for a few days too.
All was fine after about a week :)
I think its completely normal at the start. Bailey brought up a few sickies in the first week of being on Step 2 but now he is fine.
If it continues and your worried just check with a CHN but I would imagine its quite normal.

I had this happen with DD2 (with Heinz too). She also got really bad wind as well as the chucks. She couldn't sleep at night as her tummy was causing her grief. I tried at 6 months, and again at about 9. After 3 days i switched her back to Step 1, and everything returned to normal, just like magic....I'll just keep her on that until she's old enough for cows milk.

Give it the good 2wks as it often takes this amount of time for their tummy to settle down then see how your going unless she gets worse of course !
She doesnt need to be on the Step 2 so if she doesnt come good on it then go back to Step 1 not every bubba needs to change so i wouldnt worry unless she becomes more hungry or grumpy on the Step 1.
Good luck !
