Its been 5 years since i have had Kristie-Lee. but thought i would share my story.

It was Thursday arvo went to my ante-natal appointment to have a check had numerous problem with bleeding from the time i found out fainting and waters breaking and contractions at 28 weeks. Anyway was getting check when i fainted in the room so the dr said that he wanted to get bub out so i was admitted in then and there and the gel was inserted at 4pm was told i would get another at 8am too get things going. i went to sleep dp went home then at 5am i got my 1st contraction went and got into the showerthen ended up pressing the bell for the nurse i was still in the ward area at this stage. Se said for me to get up onto my bed to see if i had dilated which i did to 4cm she said that we can make our way to the birthing suite so i started to waddle up u could say stopped 3 times with contration the other midwife called dp to come to the hospital but said he didnt havr to hurry as i had awhile to go yet. when i made it to the birthing suite i got into the bath and that was a relief, the midwife just left me to peace which was nice dp turned up at 6am which at that stage i was getting in and out of the bath trying to go to the toilet but couldnt, the midwife asked to me get onto the bed to see how i was going which to her surprise i was 10cm, the pushing started i pushed fine until the crowning when i said i couldnt do it but they were really supportive and in a matter of a couple of minutes she was born at 6:18am 6lb 15.5oz a 1 hour and 18 minute labour was shown how to start the feeding for the 1st time which she was happy to be on there for an hour
