My 10 month old DS has absolutely no teeth. It seems like he's been teething forever, but no teeth. Anyone else have a gummy bear?:D

My DD was 10 months old before she got her first tooth. The next 9 came in very quick succession and then nothing since. It's been months since she cut a tooth!

DD got her first tooth at 11mths (after teething for about 9mths). She got her last one (an eye tooth) the month before she turned 4. So hang in there, they will come.

my little man has been a drool factory since about 3 months. I keep thinking that I can feel the teeth bumps getting bumpier, but still no teeth.

Oh well, at least it makes for happier breastfeeding.

I know that he puts his tongue over his 'teeth', but sometimes he gets bored and has a nibble.

I figure they will come through eventually.

DD just got her first 2 teeth, about 2days apart...she's almost 8mths.

My DS was gummy until the day before his 1st birthday.

He is 13 months now and has five, they all came within a week of each other.

I was starting to get worried, but my dentist told me that his 13 month old still didnt have any, so i figured if he wasnt concerned, i shouldnt be!

besides, they are so cute all gummy!!

Liv got her first tooth a week or so ago and she has just turned 10 months. She never had any teething symptoms, it just appeared. I was expecting more to follow, as normally when they get them late that is what seems to happen, but no, no sign of any others  . I'm glad she will have one tooth to show off on her birthday.

Thanks everyone, you all give me hope. The poor thing has had teething symptoms for what seems like forever with nothing to show for it. I do have to agree, they are very cute all gummy.:D

DS #1 was one when he got his first tooth. Apparently we're all late teethers in my family....just think, less hassle for brushing teeth!

I have a gummy bear too - he's only 9 months though. But we use the gummy bear name!

We have no idea about teething symptoms - everyone seems to have been telling us forever that he is "teething" but we are not so sure. I am not worried about him not having teeth yet, he is too cute without them.

Also I have heard that late teethers often have "stronger" teeth. I have no idea what that means or if it is actually based on anything solid but it sounds good!!! Someone also told me it means their teeth will be straighter but I don't know about that!

I know my niece was 10 months before she got her first and then they came in quick succession and without too much drama except for when she got all her molars at once!

DD was 13months before her first came in. She started the drooling & rosy teeth & chewing on everything at around 4months & I was continually told she was teething from then.
Now at nearly 16months she still only has 4 - there are a few bumps but still no more.

It's is obviously more common than I realised!

DS is 10.5 months now and cut his first tooth about 2-3 weeks ago and now he has four!! And the last one to come through is now the biggest! hahah

And yes, I definately agree that they look so sooo cute without them!!

And it isn't nice having teeth indentations after breastfeeding from the big top ones!

Sounds like DS. From 4 months I thought, oh he must be getting teeth...... 6 months later...... Still waiting!!!:D
