Hi everyone, have just registered and wanted to introduce myself to the group.

I'm 36 (turning 37 in Sept) and have a 3yr IVF boy. DH and I have been trying for #2 for 1.5yr through IVF. I've had 4 frozen cycles from the remainder of our 1st cycle 3 yrs ago, which did not take. Have had another stimulated cycle, which 11 eggs were collected and 9 were fertilised (through ICSI). The second cycle was stopped after the collection of eggs due to Hyper Stimulation so all eggs were frozen. Along the way a couple did not survive thawing and 5 did not take - transfering only 1 each time. I had the 'final batch' transferred 11 days ago, due to the probability of the last 2 firstly surviving thawing and BOTH taking we decided to go for broke and trf the last 2. I went in for my BT this am and recieved neither a postive nor a negative result, (BTL - 87). I need to go back on Saturday to confirm absolutely either way. :fingerscrossed:

You may all be thinking why the hell is this woman joining the group now after being possibly pg! I just need to 'talk', as this is our last batch and I'm not sure what we'll do if it's negative. As you all know only too well, IVF is so exhausting and mechanical, this pg journey has been so much more difficult than our first. The next 4 days is going to be a killer so I thought it may help to chat about it. :ecomcity: I am going on, anyway that's the jist of it. I'm a little out of practice with the abbreviations but hope to get the hang of it fairly quickly.
cheers,
Angsmum

Hi AngsmumHang in there- you have worked so hard for this and I am sure it will work out for you.

It definitely does help to 'chat' with others who know what you are going through- check out the main thread and you will find a huge range of ups and downs and a few miracles in there too. It's hard feeling in limbo but the time will pass...

Take care:hugs:
