My 12 week DS2 has not done poo for a week. He has had plenty of wet nappies but nothing else. Should I be worried about this?

If he's BF this can be normal. I would, however, be worried about the inevitable 'poonami' :o

Thats a relief. It doesn't seem to be bothering him. Thanks for the heads up on the 'poonami'! I'll make sure I prepared myself for the explosion.

Breastmilk has very little 'leftovers' after the baby's digested it - so it's a very low-output diet (in terms of poo) for a lot of exclusively breastfed bubs. It can be normal for them not to 'go' for 2 weeks or so.
And yep, the poonami will strike when it's most inconvenient! (Oh, and you know how they say that breastfed babies' poo doesn't smell? Yeah, that only applies when they're once-a-day + pooers. When they hold onto it for a week or more, it stinks to high heaven!).

Let's hope you're at home (or not far from it) when the poonami arrives :D

Ha Ha. It arrived. Luckily I was at home. Thanks for the advice.
