Just wondering how many boosters I need for using MCNs on Bubba full time?

I was looking at the Baby Beehinds 6 Pack of Bamboo Fold Ups. Are these good or should I be looking at something different???

TIA

I dont use boosters all that much, only with pocket nappies but then they usually come with them anyway. I have a few bambooty ones which are good and small. I also have some organic born of nature ones which you can get on monkeysundies or ebay and they are great! They are only 15 bucks for three and I'm really happy with them. Well made and nice and trim. But if you are looking for bigger boosters then the fold ups are good. I havent used bbh ones, but I have some cushie tushie ones which I'm really happy with.

Sorry can't help you much. I've never boosted my nappies but haven't had to as they are all day time ones that I use so far. Just about to get into night time nappies and have bought (waiting on delivery) 2x Jam tots bamboo night time stay dry boosters. Crossing fingers that they work :)

i just have 2 bamboo foldups to use in 2 minky magicalls that i used as boosters. the normal bamboo insert that comes with the BBH should be enough absorbancy :)

I hardly use boosters because DD is a pretty light wetter and I don't use pockets. But I think you said you have a few pockets so they'll be pretty useful as spares when the others are drying. And if you end up with a heavy wetter you might use them lots.

Also the BB foldups can be used for the 1st few weeks as a prefold.

Or maybe you could wait and see if bub is a super weeer or not?

hmm i dunno they don't look big enough to use as a prefold lol, or maybe i just dont remember how tiny babies are...they are very...floppy, depends on how you like your boosters, i like them "stiff" (makes it easier to stuff)

I found that they tend to go "stiff" if you let them dry in full sun, lol. All my BBH's are stiff now.

I wouldn't bother with boosters unless you need them, my DD is NOT a heavy wetter, the only times ive ever used a booster is a snap in one for an itti sewn in if were going out.

I use the bamboo trifold to boost my pockets overnight, and they are GREAT. I started out using just the two inserts that the nappy came with, then I tried using two big inserts (one from another nappy) plus a small one overnight... THEN i found bamboo trifolds and they have been a godsend. They are so absorbent and not so bulky as microfibre. I only use them overnight and during naps, so I reckon if you have a heavy wetter, 6 is probably enough, at least to start with to see how you go. That way you can use three in a day and have the other three drying for tomorrow. If I didn't have a heavy wetter, though, I wouldn't need them in addition to what the pocket nappies came with.
