Hi my baby is 4months and she use 2 b a great sleeper pretty much from birth I use 2 think I had such a great sleeper on 1 feed at nite which she barely woke up for just got a bit restless, but around a week ago that good sleeping has turned into horrible sleeping she is so restless she is tossing and turning its I try a dummy but she just spits it out and goes back to tossing and turning, I try a feed she has a lil snack then settles for like 15mins does all babies go through this at this age? Can it b from teething? How can I help her to stop doin it? From all that tossing and turning she wakes up in the morning like she had a great sleep but I wake up with no sleep!!!

sounds like teething..maybe growth spurt...it sucks...my girl was great sleeper..then around 4 months a week or so of annoying nights..then great again..but now she is just 8 months..and the last 2 weeks wakes between 2am /4am..
i change her nappy and put straight back to bed..did give her a bottle a couple times..but didnt want to get her in the habit of bottle at night again
best of luck
try to roll with it!!!!

if it seems like your bub is waking more and looking to feed more it could be a growth spurt..i know my bub had one around that age.

id just offer him the extra feed, it will calm him down and help him to sleep better as he wont be hungry.

as for introducing a wrap, (this is my opinion of course), i probably wouldnt. only for the fact that your bub will be rolling soon, if they arent already, and then sitting up..when its kinda recommended that you stop wrapping and go to a sleeping bag.

what about teething? is bub dribbling or showing any teething signs? my bub got his first tooth at 4mths, he is only 8mths now and has 6 teeth already lol

anyways, just some thoughts, hope some of it might help! :)

In all honestly if bub isn't crying then you shouldn't be up at all.

If having the baby moving in his sleep in your room is keeping you up all night then maybe you should move him into another room - that way you are only going to wake when he really cries and needs you. I think alot of mums go through this and suffer when in reality moving them out of the room would solve the problem.

i have to second the above, we encountered the same thing at around 3-4 months. if you do a google search for sleep changes around 4 months you will find information about how at this age babies begin to develop more "adult-like" sleeping cycles- the cycles from deep to light sleep are quicker, and the light sleep is lighter and thus more easily disturbed (hence the sighing and restlessness).

Also as said in PP you could also be entering a growth spurt. Although if bub is not taking a full feed, this may not be the case- in fact you may find that trying to feed them just wakes them up more and it may become difficult down the line to wean them off this feed.

i'm not sure what the answer is  Unfortunately sometimes these things just need time to work themselves out (not what you want to hear i know) good luck

Good to hear that it all worked out, I've had issues with bub making noises in her sleep from day one so she's in her own room right next to ours. Now when she's asleep we can get some sleep.
