View Full Version : Worried..
Hi i have had no morning sickness at all throughout entire preg(17 wks)
Has anyone had no morning sickness whatsoever and had a healthy baby?
I heard that if you don't have morning sickness it's likely to be a boy and if you do have morning sickness it's likely to be a girl due to more hormones or something?!?!
I have heard this but i think its a bit of an old wives tale...
Are you worried that you will be having a boy?
No i'm not worried at all what it will be.. i'm just worried that my baby isn't healthy:(

I had no morning sickness with DD1, and I had a beautiful healthy baby girl!!!.... I wouldn't take that to seriously!!!
Oh well in that case dont worry, i wasnt sick at all for my first DS .. not one single day of illness.. for my second DS i had "mild" morning sickness.
Try not to worry but perhaps at your next appointment you could explain that your a bit concerned...
Do you have an Ultrasound due soon?

IMO i think you're pretty lucky not to have morning sickness. However, whoever told you that not having morning sickness throughout your pregnancy means that there could be something wrong with the baby seriously they need their head checked. Some people are blessed not having morning sickness so lap it all up
i also had NO morning sickness what so ever :D And DD turned out healthy as.. she come out with cute lil rolls, so she was still getting fed well
the nurse that delivered DD said she was amazed cause in the 15yrs she had been delivering babies not one had come out with lil chubby rolls  Too cute tho:thumbsup:
But honestly i wouldnt be worried. think yourself lucky i say, cause the ladies that get it alot of them hate being sick EVERYDAY over and over again!!

I had bad morning (all day) sickness for 16wks with my first. He was born with a kidney disorder.
I had mild morning sickness for about 6wks with my second, she was born with a cleft lip.
I had about 2 days of mornign sickness with my 3rd and he was born perfectly healthy. So in my experience, the less morning sickness you have, the better, lol.
Seriously though, I agree with Karni, whoever told you that needs their head read.

I had morning sickness with both pregnancies from virtually the day of conception to the day of birth - I'm not kidding, I've got the acid damage on my back teeth to prove it!!
I've got 2 boys...so there goes that theory!
My best friend has never suffered morning sickness and she's got 3 beautiful healthy children.

I didn't have any MS with either pregnancies and just found out I am preggers again, no ms yet and doubt I will get it thankfully.
If you are really concerned talk to your dr and ask for an ultrasound or to check the heartbeat.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

I had no morning sickness at all with DD - she is perfectly healthy. Am pregnant again (no m/s) and fingers x'ed all is ok but I am sure it is.
I pretty much vomited my way thru my whole pregnancy  and I did end up with a healthy baby boy!

Oh, I feel for you. My old neighbour vomited about 30 times a day during both of her pregnancies, she was even throwing up while in labour. It only stopped once the umbilical cord was cut.

my first pregancy i had 3 days of morning sickness, i worked fulltime till my due date, that was hard, first baby was boy, not finding out with baby #2.
this time round im 12 weeks pregnant and having the worst trouble with baby and my body, ive had bad morning sickness everyday, hope it ends soon.
im due 29th jan
Alot of people that get it find it stops at around 14 weeks anyway so yours may have come and gone without you realising it.
Lots and lots of people don't get it. One of my friends didn't get it and she reckons its all in people's heads....I could strangle her.... yes, I got it, but not badly, only queasy not vomity.
Well...I'm having a boy and I was severely sick up until 18 weeks! Lucky You :)
