View Full Version : Bed Times?
I am having a fair bit of trouble with DD and sleeping at the moment. It is starting to kill us as over night we are getting very little sleep and during the day I am lucky if she has 1 20 minute nap.
I am just wondering if her bed time may be contributing to her awakenings over night.:detective:
DD is 18 months old. What time do your kids go to bed of a night time.
Thanks so much in advance :D

hi, by about 18 mths I had a sort of bedtime routine; dinner, bath, story, sleep. As they got older, past two , there was a pretty much set bedtime of 7.30. When the kids were going to school the bedtime was definatly 7.30, if they wanted to read quitely in bed then the light could stay on for ten minutes more. Most of the time they had a reasonable daytime nap too, but it could be missed one or two days in the week. Marie.

lilmrsc - my ruby is 18months. she wakes up at 5-6am though. thanks to her lovely LOUD brother. she naps in the middle of the day regardless. 12-1pm im lucky to get 40mins-1hour.
then she will crash at night from 6.30-7pm. but she has a brother to play with who wears her out.
what time does she wake, when does she eat, when is her nap and when does she go to bed?
sorry people might need more info.
hope me sharing this might help you
Thankyou so much for your answers.
Charlotte is on a pretty good routine ( or at least I thought so). She has dinner at 5:30pm. Bath at 6:30. Bottle, Story and then bed at 7:00pm. During the day she wakes at around 6am has a bottle and then breakfast at around 7:30. She usually has her day nap around 12:30 until just before 1.
I just dont understand why she wakes so much during the night...
