cairns babysitter

We are planning a trip to Cairns in the first week of august, and are planning on going to the outer reefs on the quicksilver. WE have a 10 week old baby and im thinking it would be nice to have her looked after so hubby and I and 6yr old byron can snorkel the whole time,and not have to take it in turns staying with baby moni. I am abit scared to leave her with a stranger and venture to the edge of the continental shelf without her, so i was wondering if any of you locals know of a reputable babysitting service you could reccomend. Also tossing up the idea of taking the babysitter with us on the cruise with us and paying the $200 for the day out and lovely lunch for the babysitter instead of babysitting costs, so we can still be together most of the day, any of you bubhubbers keen for a day out on the reef, to mind monique while we are snorkeling??:wave:

I can't think of anyone at the moment, but if I can think of someone trustworthy I'll let you know.

Its overcast here lately but not actually raining too much, DH, DS and I walk on the Esplanade every evening and the reef boats are still full of tourists so must still be good diving :D
DH's birthday is early August I had thought about going to the reef for his bday, but I had thought it would be too hard with DS (5months) so :yelclap: for going diving!!!! I can't think of anyone to babysit either, there are often people writing into the Cairns Post (our local paper) advertising that they are blue carded babysitters etc, but I can't personally recommend anyone.
