Everytime i try and practice my calm birthing techniques i fall asleep! I have even put myself in positions/locations that i wouldn't normally be able to sleep.
Do you think it's ok falling asleep? I guess it means im relaxed, but i can honestly say i have never been able to listen to a track in full.

Maybe try at a time when you are already well rested. Wouldn't it be lovely to fall asleep during labour and wake up when it was all over :p You most def must be getting in a relaxed space though so guess that has to be good. Maybe call up a person who teaches it and ask them.
My second child was born at home 3 weeks ago, and at one stage during established labour I was literally falling asleep between contractions.
I would never have believed that could happen, but I was sitting on the edge of my bed relaxing between contractions and my head kept falling forwards as I kept falling asleep! Needless to say when a contraction came I had to jump up and move around, but then I would get right back to dozing!! :D
I don't know if that really helps at all with your question, but maybe being so relaxed that you fall asleep is not such a bad thing!
Hope you have a wonderful birthing experience :goodvibes:

That's OK!!
I used to do the same thing, and I think as long as you are able to practise your breathing lots you'll be fine! Falling asleep means you're relaxing really well!
