How to wash Ergo carrier ?

To the ladies that own an ergo....I was going to borrow an ergo carrier from a friend but would like to return it cleaned. Can you dry clean them or are they fully machine washable? I know the website says machine washable but have any ladies had bad experiences washing them?

I've always just thrown mine in the washing machine, on a cold wash, and it's fine.

I read the tag yesterday as Im planning on washing ours soon....one day lol!

Tag states u can gentle machine wash but not to do it frequently.


I used to clean ours with a moist cloth or even use a lint remover if it got covered with hairs. The linen material and it being black didnt help with attracting hairs.

Im sure a gentle wash would be fine. If I dry it Im going to dry it flat on top of a clothes horse or something out of direct sunlight.

Like the tag says..I really dont see there being any point in washing it too frequently.
A gentle cycle wash in machine would be just as safe as doing a hand wash in the tub :)
