Help! Is it a hernia?

Hi everyone

My bub is 4 months old and had a hydrocele in the left testicle for at least 8 weeks before it went away. But now it seems to be returning, with a clear lump at the top left of that same testicle. He has also been a little grizzly, not into his food as much and his number 2 was different this morning (in colour and it was a little runny).

Does anyone know the symptoms of a hernia? I am particularly worried because he has reflux which I understand increases the chance of getting a hernia.

How about going to see a doctor? No one here can diagnose anything medical.

Thank you KM, I of course have an appointment with a GP this morning but in the meanwhile was feeling anxious so thought I would get some advice and support from other members.

Thank KM, I am just soooo overwhelmed, the poor little tiger has had everything in his short life... reflux, cow's milk intolerance, soy milk intolerance, a urinary tract infection - PLEASE don't let this be a hernia! I feel so sorry for him, and worst of all he really tries hard to smile throughout it all. He is such a brave little mite.

Does anyone know if it could be something else? I am hoping it's not a hernia or anything serious. The kid deserves a break!
