NO AF too but testing BFN ???

Hi i too have no AF 4 days OD and no preg symptons as does Livy but tested this morning and still BFN, I'm never late have been off the pill for 4 months with 28 to29 day cycles does anyone know the chances of a hpt coming up BFN if you don't have enough of the hormone in your system yet? and having to have a blood test to find out finding in frustrating??Can anyone help?

Not sure if this will make you feel any better but my DR is against HPT's as he said that it depends on the person how much HCG makes it from your (where ever it is made) to your bladder and at what time. Some people dont get a BFP on a HPT until 30DPO or later just because the level isnt high in their bladder but is high in their body.

Maybe you should just bite the bullet and go for a blood test, then you know for sure one way or the other.

Hi Boush - really confusing isn't it! A friend of mine was 4 weeks past "O" before she found out she was pregnant from a blood test - she kept getting BFN on HPT's. Good luck - I hope you get your answer soon :fingerscrossed:

Thanks Livy, just read up everything i could on reliability of hpt and convinced myself i'm not, but you just gave me hope once again keep me informed on how you go too!
