Pirate costume!?!?!

Hi me and my dd have been invited to a surprise 30th bday party at the end of the month. The thing is its a pirates and wenchs costume party. What do i put on my dd who will be nearly one?? I want something really cute for her to wear!!!! Help i need suggestions

with the Kmart and Big W sales, you might be able to get a Captain Feathersword costume not too dear....if you dont mind dressing her as a boy pirate???

Google baby pirate costumes or halloween costumes..alot of the kids or infant costumes they seen to be wearing a loose white or cream blouse, with a coloured vest over it, with some kinda neutral colour pants. Most boys had a pirate hat, but most girls had a bandana, with a few wearing a hat :)..just improvise, im sure she'll be cute no matter what shes in :)

I just edited to add that if you dont want to spend much, try op shops, they'll have some great stuff that you can cut up and fiddle with to make a costume.

Try spotlight, they have a lot of costumes for kids and they had a big range of pirate ones even ebay is worth a try:)

i would try spotlight they have some cool looking things and i would put her in a bandana

We dressed DD as a pirate for her 1st birthday. Very easy. Some dark pants, a stripey top, a sash around the waist and a bandana on the head. Voila instant pirate.

Yep thats sounds great to me.
We are going to a pirate party on the weekend and that is what my kids are wearing. DD instead of pants is wearing a black skirt that I jaged the edges on.
