Hey there ladies!
I am a first time mother :D and have done soooo much reading about what I can do with my placenta.
I heard there are many benefits of eating it, such as reduction of post natal depression and encouragement of breast milk production
All sounds awesome! but the thought of eating my placenta makes me feel a tad :barf:
Then I read somewhere that you can get it steamed, then dehydrated and powdered and puit into capsules. You'll get all the vitamins you need from it still in the form of a pill a day! :smiliedance:
Does anyone know where I can get this done in Adelaide?? I know the Doula College in Melbourne do it, but I cant imagine the price of getting it frozen and sent over there, or if I can even do that?
Im sure I could prepare it myself if I hired a dehydrator... but who knows how my little man is going to sleep? I dont want to plan to do it myself and not be able to :dizzy:
So has anyone got any suggestions for me??
Thanks,
V
