Mouse Potato

We were listening to the ABC the other morning. Apparently the term "mouse potato (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mouse+potato)" has been added to the Merriam Webster dictionary.....

I wonder how many of us are one? My DP has just entered the room singing "mouse potato mouse potato..." to the tune of the Wiggles' Hot Potato. :rolleyes:

I'm a bum potato - whether it's the TV, the internet, the radio or just looking at the pretty images in my head, if it involves me being on my bum, I'm in :D

Chris and I are mouse taytos through and through!!! We even watch TV and some movies on the computer LOL

Sames as us, we are always fighting for the computer! Then last night DF downloaded the rest of the season of lost cos' he "cant wait for normal tv!". Plugged the laptop into the TV and off we go!

our solution to fights over the computer was to get a 2nd one lol

My DH is DEFINATELY a "mouse potato" he gets up in the morning, jumps online after his shower...goes to work and sits in front of a computer for 8hours (he's a software developer) then he comes home and jumps straight back on the computer until he decides to go to bed! Stuffed if he thinks he's doing that once bubs comes along!!!

I on the other hand spend maybe 1-2 hours on the computer, at various intervals throughout the day, not 1-2 hours straight, I just can't sit for that long, I get too bored and restless LoL

I'd only get bored and restless if I was doing the same thing for that entire length of time but I usually have a number of windows on the go: forums, msn, word (if I'm writing an essay or something), lots of research matter ...

And then of course there's the games :D
