Hi everyone!!

and welcome to my confusing post... I am sorry if this sounds stupid but i need some clarification. I have been told by three different GP's that i have endo, i have been for numerous blood tests, internal ultra sounds, normal ultrasounds, one doctor even sent me for an xray (which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to me!!!!!!!!!!!! but they did..).

I just need to know if this sounds like the symptoms anyone else is experiencing.. i have been reading through the posts i just can't wrap my head around it at the moment.

It has been going on for a few years now but subsided whilst been pregnant a bit. I am only 22 by the way. My symptoms are irregular bleeding, sometimes bleeding for two or three weeks sometimes only bleeding for 2 days, sometimes i get my cycle 3 months apart, other months its two weeks apart, i get numerous blood clots each time im on my period, when im not on my period i get wierd discharge sometimes being greenish, sometimes yellowish and this discharge is sticky and clumpy and forms lumps, the other discharge i get its thin, clear and water like just soaking everything in its path (ONCE AGAIN I APOLOGIES FOR TMI). I always have a sore lower back, it feels like pressure on my back, pain during sex and loos of libido and i am always throbbing or swollen down there, i have also noticed my appetite is slowly dying, i have just started being short of breathe and dizzy quite often (don't know if this is related).

They are the major symptoms i am getting - im just confused because the "pain factor" everyone keeps talking about isn't intense with me as it is with everyone else. i have been to a gyno who would like to check everything out down there but hasn't gone any further from there?? All of these things are just really starting to effect everyday life for me - im always tired, i never feel like moving, my motivation is gone and im trying so hard to find it again.. i just feel drained constantly...

If anyone could please help me figure out if this sounds like endo so i know what my next step should be.. i should probably try and find a different gyno i suppose:(

Sorry for going on so much and all of the information.. hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me!!!

Thank you... Linda:crying:

Unfortnately the only way to diagnose endo is via a Lap.

I am newly diagnosed (saw a specialist 3 weeks ago, then had a Lap the following week). Looks like ive had it for 11 years- I always knew there was something not right.

I would recommend getting a referral from your GP to a Gyno who specialises in Endo. Then write a list of all your symptoms to take in with you.

In my appointment with the Gyno, he went through all my symptoms, did an internal exam followed by an internal ultrasound. I was then booked into surgery a week later.

Clots is def a symptom, as is pain during BD, back pain and irregular bleeding. Fatigue is also a symptom.

Im not sure on the discharge but that sounds like something you should discuss with a Gyno.

I have found the following site really useful - http://www.endometriosis.org/

Regarding the 'pain factor' you mentioned, everyone has different symptoms - ie you could have barely any symptoms and severe endo, or severe symptoms and mild endo. Each person is different.

Short of Breath is something you should get checked out by your Dr ASAP as it can be a sign of many different things. I have shortness of breath caused by my asthma and also my reflux. I also used to get dizzy spells and fainting and we eventually worked out it was brought on by stress.

Its good to read these threads as you realise you are not the only person going through this.

Good luck :hugs:
