Big W Toy Sale in ON

Everyone's been taliking about going to the KMART sales but does everyone realise that BIG W's toy sale started on Thursday too.

I went last night and there was noone around and it was pure heaven and fun not having to barge and knock through people and prams for once :smiliedance: .

I went there as my first stop on Thursday morning, quite a few ppl were there, but not quite a madhouse. They didn't have what I wanted though:thumbsdown: . Apparently out store here didn't get a lot of the stock that was advertised, so I ended up doing the KMart thing, then back to Big W. I found a few more things when I went back, but luckily KMart had all the stuff I wanted, but I paid a few more $$ than I would have at Big W.

Just waiting for Target's sale in 2 weeks and I'm all done! :smiliedance:

I decided before I went that we'd buy it all now, it's paid for then and I didn't have to line up for lay-by. Best decision!

Yup I knew it was on but it was easier to go to Kmart cose no deposit layby there...I know 10% isnt alot but with my DD1 bday next weekend and forking out $350 for that as well as the amount I put on layby, its alot for me right now.....we were there early so no hustle and bustle YAY.....
I found neither was cheaper than the other as a whole. There were the odd things here and there.....e.g. Junior monopoly being almost $30 at Big W but $15 at Kmart (I only noticed this cose DD1 is a huge fan) but the pooh bear toy I wanted was only avail at BigW. It was mayhem in both places and alot of empty shelves in both as well.

I knew it was on but only just got the catalogue today. I like the fact that Kmart has the no deposit layby as well. I wish i hadnt read the Big W catalogue now cause i feel like going there but i will stop myself :eek:

i made myself a list from big w & kmart & went & checked them out - crossing a lot of the things of my lists! i'll wait until target's prices come out b4 i decide on exactly what i'll get, tho. & if it's sold out, well then i'll just go without! ;)

also, myer is having a toy sale, too atm. they have 20% off all fisher-price toys, but i've found their starting prices to be more expensive!

All three (Big W, Target & KMart) have the NO deposit, pick up Xmas Eve Layby's during these toy sales.

MMMM well I went to big W the day it started and was required a 10% deposit :confused:
And I must say, the toys were no diff to the usual!! :thumbsdown:

Big W will also match Target and Kmarts prices IF they have it in stock! :shame:

I went there today but they didnt have a single thing i wanted ......... I HATE BIG W

Now i will have to wait for Target and hope that Kmart get some of the things i wanted in stock soon
